There are some guys in the UFC that you want to like, but they just make it so hard. Maybe they’ve been around a long time and represent and era gone by, or sometimes offer up nuggets of wisdom in interviews that you appreciate, and it makes you like them.

But then other times they’re out there making excuses, offering backhanded compliments to opponents who thrash them, or speaking with such delusion that it leaves you flabbergasted. As a result, you reconsider anything that you like about them, and you’re left with indifference. Or worse.

It’s a fine line to walk to be a fan favourite who speaks his mind or a guy that people just don’t like.

Here are some of the dudes on the UFC roster that are trying to walk that line at the moment.

UFC 143 will be taking place in Las Vegas on Superbowl Weekend and is expected to be headlined by Georges St-Pierre as he defends his gold against Nick Diaz.

That fight has been announced by the UFC, however with much of their focus to this point being on their return to Japan a few weeks later, there are still some holes to be plugged.

Here are a few humble suggestions for Dana White and Joe Silva to consider.

Condit vs. Koscheck will be in an interesting bout.  Each fighter will test the other in weak areas of their game.  The fighter whose revisions have been the most effective is the one who will likely control the fight.

This is a perfect warm-up fight for Carlos Condit.  He has been focusing on his wrestling for two straight camps.  If he wins, he fights GSP, who is going to beat Nick Diaz.

It is a great fight for Koscheck as well.  Carlos is a good fighter to have in front you if you are looking to focus on your standup.

For fans, it will be interesting to see what these modifications look like—and whose have been the most effective.

From head to toe, here it is.

Carlos Condit’s Wife Looks Like a Good Girl (PHOTOS)

Well, if Carlos Condit is the nice guy we all get the impression he is, then perhaps he’s more like the male version of “a lady in the parlor and a whore in the bed,”.

Well, if Carlos Condit is the nice guy we all get the impression he is, then perhaps he’s more like the male version of “a lady in the parlor and a whore in the bed,” because all I can think is, if Condit’s got a wife this hot, he can’t be Mr. Nice Guy in every room of the house. Who feels bad he lost that title-shot now?

Enjoy pics of Seager Condit below and check out more over at CagePotato. And no matter what happens at UFC 143 against Josh Koscheck… I think we can all agree now that we’ve seen Mrs. Condit, that Carlos is already “winning”.

As expected, Carlos Condit won’t sit around and wait for Georges St-Pierre and Nick Diaz to decide the direction of the UFC welterweight division.

Instead, Condit will face former No. 1 contender Josh Koscheck at UFC 143.

Koscheck announced the fight on his own, and a source confirmed that Condit has at least verbally agreed to take the bout.

Condit has been one of the winningest welterweights in MMA for years, capturing 12 of his last 13 fights, losing only a close split-decision to Martin Kampmann during that time. Condit has won four in a row overall, including three straight knockouts.

Condit (27-5) was at one time pushed ahead of Diaz and into a title bout with St-Pierre, but after Diaz defeated BJ Penn at UFC 137, St-Pierre asked for and received a change, and will fight Diaz at UFC 143.

If Condit wins, he’s likely to be named No. 1 contender.

Meanwhile, Koscheck (16-5) returned from his December 2010 loss at the hands of St-Pierre to knock out Matt Hughes in the first round of their UFC 135 fight.

UFC 143 takes place from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on February 4.

A highly anticipated welterweight collision pitting Nick Diaz against Georges St-Pierre has now become official.

The two were originally set for an October tussle, however after the Stockton native no-showed several pre-fight press junkets, St-Pierre was then slated to face Carlos Condit. However, after a subsequent shuffle which saw the Canadian left sidelined due to injury,

Diaz was then pitted against former two-time world champion BJ Penn in the main event of UFC 137. There, Diaz dominated the Hawaiian in a “Fight of the Night” performance which re-established himself as the No. 1 contender to the 170-pound title, leap frogging Condit in the process.

Now, according to MMAJunkie.com,  both Diaz and St-Pierre will finally meet come this February for UFC 143, which takes place Super Bowl weekend at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

The Cesar Gracie product has become one of the most polarizing figures in the sport as of late, courtesy of his brash attitude and penchant for exciting fights.

Previously presiding in the Strikeforce promotion, Diaz earned the welterweight title with a stunning first round knockout over Dream champion Marius Zaromskis in January of last year.

Afterwards, Diaz would go on to defend his title on three occasions in impressive victories over rival KJ Noons, Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos and Paul Daley—finishing the knockout artist on strikes in the first stanza.

Riding on an incredible 11 fight win streak, Diaz is now the rightful man to challenge “Rush”, whom has laid waste to nearly all notable opposition in his path. The pound-for-pound great is riding a nine fight win streak inside the Octagon—the second best run in the organization’s history, behind middleweight great Anderson Silva.

In his last six title defenses, St-Pierre has dominated the likes of Jon Fitch, BJ Penn, Thiago Alves, Dan Hardy, Josh Koscheck and Jake Shields, respectively.

Both Diaz and St-Pierre have traded barbs back and forth in the media, which will result in a blockbuster battle which is just a few months away.
