It’s been a while since fans of MMA have had the opportunity to see a UFC fight card with the last event taking place back on Aug. 11.

However, the waiting will come to an end on Saturday when the promotion returns to the Air Canada Center for UFC 152. The fight card will feature two title bouts as well as what may be—if you listen to one of the participants—a middleweight title elimination bout.

In the evening’s main event, UFC light heavyweight kingpin Jon Jones will put his title on the line against Vitor Belfort. Before that fight can take place, we will see who will be crowned the UFC’s first flyweight champion when Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson square off to decide who will walk away as, Benavidez has termed it, the “George Washington” of the 125-pound division.

Leading into that fight will be a middleweight matchup between Michael Bisping and Brian Stann.

Bisping has made it clear that, with a win, he feels he should be next in line to face middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Stann, on the other hand told MMAFighting that he was going to take a “don’t tell me, show me” stance on a fight with Silva, allowing the UFC to make the call if he would deserve a shot at Silva with a win over Bisping.

In all, fight fans will be treated to 12 fights on Saturday night.

Jon Jones has already disposed of three former UFC champions during his short reign as light heavyweight champion. At UFC 152, where he will face Vitor Belfort, Jones will attempt to add another former UFC champion to his growing list of victims.

Belfort won the light heavyweight title by beating Randy Couture via cut in the opening minute of a January 2004 bout. Undoubtedly, Belfort—despite competing at middleweight for his past three appearances—will be looking to earn the belt more decisively against Jones.

In addition to the 205-pound championship bout, Saturday’s event will also feature the UFC’s first ever flyweight title fight. After beating Yasuhiro Urushitani and Ian McCall in their respective semifinal bouts of a four-man tournament to determine the 125-pound division’s first titleholder, former bantamweight contenders Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson will try to capture the gold that eluded them at 135 pounds.

A middleweight matchup between Michael Bisping and Brian Stann will also be featured on the UFC 152 main card. The winner of that bout could take a big step toward a shot at the 185-pound title.

Before Saturday’s event, which will take place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, the fighters will hit the scales on Friday at 4 p.m. ET. Video of the weigh-ins will be streamed live on the above video player.

After the weigh-ins, stay tuned to Bleacher Report for all the latest on UFC 152 and the rest of your MMA needs.

Jon Jones and the 9 Youngest Fighters Ever to Compete for UFC Gold

Jon Jones is only 25 years old, but he is already looking like one of the most experienced light heavyweights in the world. The 205-pound champion has steamrolled former UFC champions in four straight fights and will try to extend that streak against Vitor Belfort at UFC 152.

Like Jones, Belfort also had a great start to his UFC career, winning the UFC 12 tournament as a 19-year-old heavyweight. Years later, Belfort would become the UFC’s light heavyweight champion, a title he hopes to reclaim in a short-notice bout with Jones on Saturday night.

With two prodigies set to square off in the UFC 152 main event, let’s look back on the youngest fighters ever to compete for a UFC belt.

The following list does not include early-UFC tournament competitors.

Rory MacDonald and Brendan Schaub Lend a Hand to UFC Community Works Program

Three times a week, Kru James Hines, owner of Toronto’s Old School Muay Thai, conducts classes for at-risk-youth. On Thursday, the group that assembled at the gym were given a treat when UFC fighters Brendan Schaub and Rory MacDonald gave James a hand in running the kids through a workout.

To get things started the floor was given to Tom Wright, Director of Operations for UFC Canada. Wright took the time to explain the UFC Community Works program to Hines’ class.

The program, which began at UFC 129, was designed for the UFC to give something back, to allow, as Wright told the group, “guys and girls like yourselves to learn a sport, to learn the important things about martial arts, things about trust, things about discipline, respect, honor, all those type of things.”

And with that introduction, Wright ceded the floor to Hines who then ran the group through a warm-up. Hines then handed the floor to MacDonald who worked the kids through some cardio and core conditioning moves. After MacDonald had his time with the group, Schaub rolled in, adding some more intense moves to the workout.

If you think the two UFC fighters took things easy on the youngsters, you’d be wrong. Schaub especially gave the kids the run through, starting them off with burpees and finishing with multiple sets of Russian Lunges, all the while strongly encouraging them through the workout.

After MacDonald and Schaub were finished, Hines took the group through their striking moves while the UFC fighters mingled among them, holding pads and giving pointers.

When the hour-long workout was finished the group gathered for a photo op with the fighters and were then surprised to find out that they each would receive two tickets to Saturday’s UFC 152 event along with a UFC hat, which most promptly got autographed by MacDonald and Schaub.

When the event wrapped up, Schaub took some time to speak to the assembled media, saying, “This is what it’s all about, this is why I do what I do because I had heroes, I had aspirations, to do something like this goes a long way, believe me. I was a kid in this class, I had NFL guys come into the YMCA and it made a huge impact on my life, so I know how far it goes.”

MacDonald seconded Schaub’s feelings on the event and the program, “This is something I really like to do. After my career’s over this is something I want to focus on more when I have more time on my hands, to help the youth, especially those that don’t come from wealthy backgrounds. Doing stuff like this for the UFC is very cool.”

Schaub personalized the event even more when he was asked if he thought training like this could produce future UFC fighters. “You never know. I was the guy at the UFC Expo waiting in line for two hours for (Mirko) Cro Cop and Wanderlei Silva’s autograph and three years later I’m fighting them. I’m a believer that if you believe in yourself and dream big good things happen.”

[VIDEO] Full UFC 152: Jones vs. Belfort Press Conference

(We hate to admit when Bisping is right, but we’re suddenly more interested in this fight than those little flyweights.)

After that old man Dan Henderson ruined our chances of seeing Jon Jones fight someone at least in his weight class at the time at UFC 151, another old man/lion hybrid stepped up when nobody else would, resulting in a much better card and a much needed break heading into this weekend’s UFC 152 event.

And now that you’ve all sufficiently recharged your batteries and disposed of the last of your paychecks, check out a full video of the UFC 152 pre-fight press conference after the jump. As you can see, the staredown between Michael Bisping and Brian Stann gets pretty gosh darn intense for a couple men in three thousand dollar suits. Meanwhile, it appears that Jones has apparently stolen Dave Herman’s beard in an attempt to hide his chin from the dynamite hands of Vitor Belfort. Very clever, Greg. Very clever.
