UFC 234 is here, and it goes down tonight (Saturday, February 9, 2019) from the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia. The main card will air on pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET. The preliminary card will air on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET and the UFC’s streaming service, Fight Pass, at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Robert Whittaker vs. Kelvin Gastelum in a middleweight title bout will headline the show while Israel Adesanya vs. Anderson Silva in a middleweight bout will co-headline.

Rounding out the five bout main card is  Rani Yahya vs. Ricky Simon in a bantamweight bout, Montana De La Rosa vs. Nadia Kassem in a women’s flyweight bout, and Jim Crute vs. Sam Alvey in a light heavyweight bout.

According to oddsmakers, Whittaker is a -250 favorite over Gastelum, who is a +210 underdog. Other odds for the main card include Silva being a +485 underdog against Adesanya, who is a -670 favorite. Here are the full betting odds:

UFC 234 goes down goes down live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia tomorrow night (Sat. February 9, 2019).

It’s the UFC’s first event in Melbourne since November of 2016. Per an ESPN press release, we now know the commentary and broadcast team for the event. A two-man booth will call the action, as former UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and Jon Anik are working the show. Bellator fighter Chael Sonnen and Gilbert Melendez will work ESPN’s analyst desk.

Also, ESPN’s Brett Okamoto will be on location. Megan Olivi will handle fighter interviews, with a pre and post-fight show airing on ESPN+. ESPN’s main channel will air a portion of the prelims at 8:00 P.M. ET. The night is headlined by a UFC middleweight championship bout between Robert Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum.

In the co-main event, former 185-pound champion Anderson Silva will face off against Israel Adesanya. LowKickMMA will be providing live coverage throughout the night, so be sure to keep it locked here.

A middleweight title fight is scheduled to close out the night. Robert Whittaker makes his first official career title defense. “Bobby Knuckles” takes on former Ultimate Fighter winner Kelvin Gastelum. The winner of the main event will have their next challenger determined in the co-main event.

Israel Adesanya faces ex-middleweight king Anderson Silva in the co-featured bout of the evening. Adesanya is undefeated in MMA, and will face a man who many have compared him to. It will certainly be an exciting night of fights for MMA fans across the world.
