Mark Hunt is looking to fight out his contract.

Mark Hunt reveals desired opponent and even a location for the next/final UFC fight of his pro-MMA career. This shouldn’t be a shocker to those fight fans who have followed his career over the last two years.

As seen in the main event of UFC Moscow (also known as UFC Fight Night 136) that took place on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Olimpiyskiy Arena in Moscow, Russia, Aleksei Oleinik was able to secure a first round submission win over the UFC Veteran.

Hunt has gone 1-3-1 in his last five bouts including suffering losses to Brock Lesnar, which was later ruled a no-contest, Alistair Overeem, and Curtis Blaydes while his only victory coming over Derrick Lewis last June in New Zealand.

Hunt has fought some of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport including former champion Frank Mir, Derrick Lewis and Roy Nelson throughout his tenure with the promotion.

There has been a major issue between Hunt and the UFC, which dates back to his fight against Lesnar. Hunt is the last man to have fought Lesnar in the Octagon at UFC 200 in 2016. This marked Lesnar’s return to MMA after an almost five-year retirement.

As seen in the fight, Lesnar won a unanimous decision that night which was subsequently overturned when it was revealed he failed two USADA issued drug tests before the bout. This led to Hunt filing a civil suit against Lesnar and the UFC to settle his grievances.

Following UFC Moscow, Hunt revealed who he would like to fight next and where the fight should be held.

“I love working for the UFC, but we have issues,” Hunt told reporters, including MMAjunkie, post-fight. “I’ve got one more fight left, and I’m trying to get on the Adelaide card [t UFC Fight Night 142, which takes place Dec. 1] with Tai (Tuivasa) and the boys. One last hurrah for the old guy.”

“I trained a lot of stuff for the ground, of course, but I got caught with a sub,” Hunt said. “That’s the way it works in this business.”

This morning (Sat. September 15, 2018) the UFC made its debut in Moscow, Russia.

On the preliminary card, Magomed Ankalaev pulled off a spectacular first-round knockout win over Marcin Prachnio. Ankalaev hit Prachnio with a head-kick that rendered his opponent unconscious. His victory earned him a Performance Of The Night bonus worth $50,000.

Also on the prelims, bantamweights Petr Yan and Jin Soo Son put on a great back-and-forth contest. Yan ultimately won the fight on the judges’ scorecards via unanimous decision, but due to the fact that Son missed weight, he is ineligible to collect his awarded $50,000 Fight Of The Night bonus. Because of this, an extra Performance Of The Night bonus was given out.

In the co-main event, light heavyweight Jan Blachowicz submitted Nikita Krylov in the second round with a D’arce choke. His dominant performance earned him a Performance Of The Night bonus for $50,000.

Finally, in the main event of the evening, Aleksei Oleinik was able to submit Mark Hunt with a rear-naked choke to earn his 47th career submission victory. The impressive feat earned him a Performance Of The Night bonus and an extra $50,000.

Longtime heavyweight veterans Aleksei Oleinik and Mark Hunt put on a rousing one-round showcase in the main event of today’s (Sat., Sept. 15, 2018) UFC Fight Night 136 from Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia.

Oleinik picked up his amazing 45th submission victory with an impressive rear-naked choke of Hunt in the final minute of the opening frame. It wasn’t without some major adversity, however, as Oleinik took a ton of damage from the notoriously hard-hitting Hunt early.

‘The Super Samoan’ landed some monster low kicks on Oleinik that badly bruised and battered his leg. Then Hunt’s feared striking power came into play when he landed a clean straight that Oleinik somehow stayed upright after absorbing:

Oleinik came back with a power left of his own shortly thereafter that wobbled Hunt:

As expected, Oleinik then attempted to take the fight to the ground and exercise his glaring area of strength.

Hunt defended the initial takedown attempt, but Oleinik eventually drug “The Super Samoan” to the mat, took his back, and stopped the action with a rear-naked choke:

The Russian vet was all respect after his biggest-ever win, bowing to his infamous opponent:
