Although he had to pull out of this Saturday’s UFC 198 mega-event in Curitiba, Brazil to have emergency gall bladder surgery, MMA legend and former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva is already making plans for his Octagon return.

Silva, who pulled out of his scheduled fight with Urijah Hall at this Saturday’s UFC pay-per-view in Brazil, apparently told his physical trainer, Rogerio Camoes, that he intends to fight at the landmark UFC 200 event in Las Vegas, Nevada this July.

“Thank God everything went fine and Anderson is already planning his return,” Camoes told Sherdog.com. “He told me, ‘Master, pack everything up. We’re going to UFC 200.'”

Camoes continued, “The most important thing is that he kept his mind strong and didn’t lose his motivation. On the contrary, he’s really motivated to take part at that historical UFC 200 event.”

Headlined by a rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon “Bones” Jones to unify the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, UFC 200 is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jose Aldo Vows To “Run Through” Edgar, Offers To Fight McGregor In The Streets

It looks like Jose Aldo has some clear-cut goals lined up.

The former UFC Featherweight Champion took part in a Q&A with UFC Fight Club members in Brazil prior to the official UFC 198 weigh-ins in Curitiba on Friday. During the Q&A session, Aldo spoke about how he feels his upcoming interim Featherweight title fight against Frankie Edgar will be different than their first meeting inside the Octagon, which Aldo won via decision.

“I don’t think it will be like the first one,” said Aldo. “He’s coming differently, but when we get into it he will go back to his game, and that’s when we’re catching him. I revised my concepts, we learn a lot with the losses, and I learned.”

Aldo went on to promise that he will “run through” Edgar before offering to fight reigning UFC Featherweight Champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor in the streets.

“I will get there and run through (Edgar). It doesn’t matter what happens, we will win the fight,” he said. “After that, we will get (McGregor) even if it’s in the streets.”

UFC 200: Cormier vs. Jones II is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to UFC President Dana White, it’s only a matter of time before UFC owners Lorenzo Fertitta and Frank Fertitta buy an NFL franchise.

White addressed the rumors about the Fertitta brothers buying the Oakland Raiders and moving the team to Las Vegas, Nevada, during his appearance on “The Jim Rome Show.”

“Here’s the thing — as you know you can’t own an NFL team if you’re involved with casinos. So if they were really making a serious move at the Raiders, they’d be selling Station Casinos not the UFC,” White said on Friday.

White continued, “But it is 100-percent a fact, they are hardcore football fans and I promise you one day the Fertitta brothers will own an NFL team. No doubt about it.”
