In the main event of UFC Wichita earlier tonight (Sat. March 9, 2019) Derrick Lewis faced Junior dos Santos from the Intrust Bank Arena.

Both men exchanged heavy leather in the first round, but it was highlighted by a massive body kick from “JDS” that hurt “The Black Beast”. In the second round, dos Santos was able to put together a finishing sequence and picked up the TKO victory. Now, the Brazilian is fully focused on getting back to the heavyweight title, now on a three-fight win streak.

As for Lewis, it will be interesting to see where he goes from here now that he has picked up back-to-back losses. Check out how the mixed martial arts (MMA) community reacted to the finish on Twitter here:
