Donald “The Cowboy” Cerrone is undefeated in the UFC and with 2011 being the biggest year in his MMA career, it’s only fitting to take a look back at the five best performances of his WEC and UFC careers.

To sum up Cerrone’s career under the Zuffa brands, I’d have to use the word entertaining and that’s just what you can expect from Cerrone when he throws down with Nate Diaz at UFC 141 in the co main event.

Cerrone made his debut in the UFC in February and won all four of his UFC fights this year. His popularity has grown with brilliant UFC performances, but the hardcore fans already knew how much potential he had from his performances in WEC.

Whether he was throwing down with Rob McCullough, Jamie Varner or Ben Henderson, it was clear that Cerrone had the skills to become a future contender, and he’s proving just that in the UFC today.

These are the top five performances of Cerrone’s career in Zuffa.

Without UFC President Dana White at the helm of the organization, the sport as we know it will not be where it is today.

Under his watchful eye, the UFC has become synonymous with MMA, though with all of his accolades, perhaps White’s biggest flaw has been his rash decision making and hot temper which has led him to make several emotionally charged decisions in the past, which has drawn the ire of fans and the media at times.

Ultimate Fighting Championships added a second welterweight fight to February’s upcoming UFC 143 event as “TUF” 13 alum Justin ‘Fast Eddy’ Edwards (7-2) and UFC sophomore Mike Stumpf (11-3) were added to the lineup.

Officials with the promotion made the fight official at UFC.com Friday morning.

UFC 143: Diaz vs. Condit is scheduled for February 4, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevda and features four other welterweight bouts including an interim title fight between Nick Diaz vs. Carlos Condit.

Edwards (pictured) was a member of Team dos Santos during season 13 of “The Ultimate Fighter” losing his first fight to reality show winner Tony Ferguson. Edwards would debut at the TUF 13 Finale against castmate Clay Harvison, losing the match by split decision. ‘Fast Eddy’ would then go on to win his next fight, earning a decision victory against Jorge Lopez at UFN 25 and would then lose a one sided match to John Maguire at UFC 138 via unanimous decision.

Stumpf is an XFO veteran who debuted with the UFC this past September at UFN 25. At the New Orleans event, he would face T.J. Waldburger and would wind up losing via triangle choke in the first round. Stumpf had taken almost three years off from fighting from 2008 to 2011, and is close to finishing his first debree.
