Paul Heyman Conor McGregor dead by 57 with lifestyle UFC WWE

Veteran professional wrestling promoter and manager, Paul Heyman has hit out at former two-weight UFC champion, Conor McGregor – warning the Dubliner he may not live to see 57 years of age if he continues with his current lifestyle.

McGregor, a former undisputed lightweight and featherweight champion, has been sidelined since July 2021, suffering a fractured left tibia and fibula en route to a doctor’s stoppage TKO defeat to Dustin Poirier.

Expected to make his Octagon return later this annum, McGregor has been earmarked to fight the current #5 ranked lightweight contender, Michael Chandler.

Earlier this year, the duo featured as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter 31 – with filming for the reality television series wrapping up last month.

Taking aim at veteran manager, Heyman last week amid the confirmation of the acquisition of the WWE by UFC parent company, Endeavor, McGregor was issued a warning against taking on WWE champion, Roman Reigns.

In response, the 34-year-old Crumlin native claimed he would break Heyman’s jaw “in three places” if he continued his warning against him.

Paul Heyman hits out at UFC star, Conor McGregor

Taking time to address the former undisputed lightweight and featherweight UFC champion, Heyman issued a scathing warning, claiming the Dubliner would be irrelevant by the age of 50, and may wind up deceased by 57 if he continues with his lifestyle.

“If he’s (Conor McGregor) relevant by 50 – we’ll see if he even lives to be 57 with his lifestyle,” Paul Heyman told Ariel Helwani during an interview over WrestleMania weekend. “It’s not that he tweeted to me. I picked the fight with im. Let’s be honest about this. He, as a Roman Reigns wannabe, did the Paul Heyman-style title on each shoulder and gave a shoutout to himself. Of course, he did. You know, the ultimate self-promoter in Conor McGregor. You know, standing nine feet tall and weighing 155 pounds at 5-foot-4.”

“So, with that in mind, I said, look at Conor McGregor, a Roman Reigns wannabe, and of course, he goes, ‘Oh, be careful, grandpa. I’ll break your jaw in three places.’” Heyman continued. “My father, who was a pretty street-savvy guy from the Bronx, he used to say, ‘If you’re going to hit somebody, you don’t go and walk up to them and go, ‘I’m going to kick your ass, I’m gonna punch you in the face, I’m gonna beat you up, I’m gonna come get you.’ They walk up and they hit you. He’s talking a good game, but he ain’t coming after ‘The Wiseman.’”

And despite poking fun at professional wrestling in recent years – most notably in a tirade against decorated former WWE champion, John Cena, McGregor appeared to hint at an “inevitable” feature in the world of the promotion in the future, amid confirmation of an Endeavor acquisition.

“@wwe, @ufc, @TheMacLife #Itsinevitable,” Conor McGregor tweeted, along with a picture of him with both WWE championship and UFC championship belts.

Late last night, reports detailed how Endeavor, the parent company of the UFC, had entered talks with the WWE regarding a potential acquisition of the professional wrestling company, currently headed up by Vince McMahon.

And this Monday morning, in an official press release, Endeavor confirmed an agreement had been reached to buy the WWE, with the professional wrestling outfit officially merging with the WWE as part of a $21,000,000,000 publicly listed company.

Without a victory across professional mixed martial arts since January 2020, McGregor’s most recent triumph came in the form of a 40-second high kick and strikes TKO win over recent UFC Hall of Fame inductee, Donald Cerrone back in January 2020 in a welterweight main event slot in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It would appear that Brock Lesnar is no fan of Conor McGregor…

When Conor McGregor fired shots at the entire World Wrestling Entertainment roster recently, his intentions were obvious. ‘The Notorious’ was using his powerful social media following and already huge name to get mixed up in more publicity. As they say, any publicity is good publicity, and for McGregor it appears to be all good. His threats to the WWE stars were met with a myriad of angry responses, as expected.

Pro wrestling legends Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, John Cena and Kurt Angle were included in the long list of offended WWE employees. The line of people wanted a piece of McGregor continued to grow, much to the delight of the polarizing Irish star. All this and we haven’t even addressed the madness of this UFC 202 fight week.

Brock Lesnar

While we are on the subject of pro wrestlers against fighters, one particular name has cropped up with a history in both fields. WWE superstar and former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was asked about McGregor’s recent comments, and his response was explicit and direct.

Here’s the video:

“I take shits bigger than that kid. I know you guys all play fucking video games and you live in this false reality and shit. Listen, I’m 290 fucking pounds, this guy is 145 pounds. If he’s lucky and he’s getting up and eating his Weeties in the morning. He wants to challenge. If Conor McGregor wants to say some shit to me, come here Conor, face-to-face, and say some fucking shit.”

Wow, not your average pro wrestler interview by a long stretch.
Lesnar

BROCK SMASH!

Lesnar’s future in the UFC is pretty much over since he failed two UFC 200 drug tests. Perhaps he might want to concern himself more with the man who really wants to get in his face, Mark Hunt. As far as Conor McGregor in the WWE is concerned, at this point don’t count out any possibility. Money talks and all that.
