Chael Sonnen’s upcoming book comes out May 15, and to promote the “The Voice of Reason: A V.I.P. Pass to Enlightenment,” Sonnen recently made an appearance on TSN’s Off the Record with Michael Landsberg to discuss various topics in the sport of mixed martial arts.

While on a one-year suspension from MMA following his loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 117, Sonnen gathered the best of his opinions and wrote them down, including how he thinks vegans are ruining themselves and the world, why you should never feed carrots to a school bus, how fighters and fashion models have the exact same job and why Dance Dance Revolution is the national fighting style of Brazil.

While some of those subjects sound familiar, now he gets to take fans and haters in depth for a page-by-page analysis on everything, or at least a lot of things, that you could have ever wanted to know about the “People’s Champion.”

With another title opportunity coming up for the former WEC champion in the summer, the 320-page book will be available on Amazon and should be enough to keep any and all Sonnen fans occupied for a good while.

The anticipated rematch between Sonnen and Silva is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas at UFC 148.

Silva won their first bout by submission in what many consider to be one of the best comebacks in the history of the UFC. Sonnen dominated the action throughout, but was forced to tap when Silva applied a triangle choke with several minutes left in the fight.

Sonnen has since rebounded with two victories over Brian Stann and Michael Bisping. Silva has also fought twice as well, defeating Vitor Belfort and Yushin Okami.
