Donald Brashear played 1,025 games in the NHL.
He was one of the most feared enforcers during his days with the Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals and New York Rangers, racking up 2,634 penalty minutes while scoring only 205 points.
In January of 2010, Brashear was named the NHL enforcer of the decade by The Hockey News.
On Saturday, June 4, Brashear fought in his first professional MMA bout, scoring a 21 second TKO win over Mathieu Bergeron at the Ringside 11 Event in Quebec City.
Brashear told cbcsports.ca that he plans on returning to the cage. He also stated, “As soon as I got in there [the cage], I was comfortable.”
