UFC on Fuel TV will take place on Wednesday, February 15, from the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, NE. Headlining the main card will be a bout between two highly-ranked welterweights Diego “The Dream” Sanchez and Jake “The Juggernaut” Ellenberger.

Sanchez, the man who once went by the nickname “Nightmare,” began his UFC career as a cast member during the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Sanchez was the winner in the inaugural season of TUF, earning a UFC contract when he TKO’d Kenny Florian in the first round.

Following that win, he went on a five-fight winning streak, defeating the likes of Nick Diaz and Karo Parisyan before dropping two straight decisions, one to Josh Koscheck and another to Jon Fitch.

Following those losses, the first of his professional career, Sanchez went on to win four straight before again losing two in a row.

Currently fighting at welterweight, Sanchez has two straight “Fight of the Night” victories to his name and will look to make that three when he faces the surging Jake Ellenberger.

Ellenberger is coming off the biggest win of his career, a “Knockout of the Night” performance that saw him turn out the lights of former Strikeforce champion Jake Shields in a mere 53 seconds. The win was Ellenberger’s fifth in a row in the UFC and elevated him from a fighter that many casual fans may have not heard of, to a fighter who may be one or two fights away from competing for the UFC welterweight title.

What follows is the breakdown of this upcoming contest.
