Still, Belfort could earn a title shot at UFC Fight Night 32 in his home country of Brazil.
The former UFC champion has separated himself from the rest of the middleweight title hopefuls not named Anderson Silva, meaning a victory Saturday over Henderson could earn Belfort a shot at the winner of a UFC 168 matchup between champion Chris Weidman and Silva.
In addition to the light heavyweight main event, UFC Fight Night 32 will feature the TUF: Brazil 1 middleweight final that should have been.
Cezar Ferreira ended up winning that competition by beating Sergio Moraes, who replaced an injured Daniel Sarafian. Now, Sarafian will have his chance to prove he would have won the reality show in a fight with Ferreira.
