More than 14 months since he last appeared, Carlos Condit made a solid return on May 30 at UFC Fight Night 67, where he stopped Thiago Alves at the end of the second round.

Following a close opening stanza, Condit recorded a knockdown in the second frame that would ultimately result in a doctor stoppage between the second and third rounds. The Natural Born Killer smashed Alves‘ nose with an elbow; the injury could keep the Brazilian out of the Octagon for several months.

With the rebound win, Condit is back in the hunt for a shot at the welterweight championship. Having lost to Tyron Woodley prior to his hiatus, he does have some work to do in order to earn a title shot, though.

Here are the bouts that should be next for Condit and the rest of the UFC Fight Night 67 competitors.
