The location and one-half of the co-main event for Jake Paul’s August 13 PPV card have been announced.
Jake Paul is getting set to make his return to the boxing ring. The YouTuber turned boxing has been one of the most popular combat sports athletes in recent years. Since making his first appearance in the ring, Paul has also been making headlines. There are constant rumors and callouts to see who he will be fighting next.
Although he did not mention an opponent, Paul did give the fans a little tidbit on when and where he will be fighting next.
“We going back to back. New York. MSG. Two main events. Showtime PPV. It gets no bigger, it gets no betr,” he wrote on social media.
Jake Paul will be co-headlining an event in Madison Square Garden with Amanda Serrano. Paul’s last time in the squared circle was in December when he defeated Tyron Woodley by KO.
Although there are no opponents announced for either, there have been some rumors. Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn claimed that he heard Paul will be facing Tommy Fury. Paul and Fury were linked to a bout against each other before Fury was injured. That is when Woodley stepped in on short notice. There is no word yet on potential opponents for Serrano.

The epic lightweight title showdown between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano topped over 1 million viewers on DAZN last week.
DAZN announced that the bout did 1.5 million viewers for the Madison Square Garden event on April 30. The undefeated Taylor put her WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring female lightweight titles on the line against Serrano. Serrano entered the bout on a 28-fight win streak, not having lost since 2012.
Both women went all 10 rounds in what was an extremely close and entertaining fight. However, when it was all said and done, the judges awarded the bout to the champion, Taylor, via split decision. With the win, Katie Taylor improves her unblemished record to 21-0.
As for Serrano, she was handed her first loss in almost 10 years when she lost a decision to Frida Wallberg in Sweden. Taylor was represented by boxing promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing, while Serrano was represented by YouTube star Jake Paul, who has been making a name for himself in the boxing world with his own in-ring work.

Conor McGregor has taken a brutal swipe at Jake Paul’s sense of fashion, likening it to that of one of the world’s most notorious sex offenders.
Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer and now promoter of Amanda Serrano, watched his client lose via split decision tonight to Katie Taylor in perhaps the biggest female boxing match in history. Not only was it a devastating blow to Paul’s pride, but also to his bank account. The 25-year-old had laid down $1 million in a bet with his co-promoter, Eddie Hearn.
And if that wasn’t enough salt rubbed into Paul’s wounds, in stepped long-time agitator and proud Katie Taylor supporter Conor McGregor to rub in a bit more. The Irishman took to Twitter to mock Paul’s choice of fashion accessory as the YouTuber watched Serrano lose ringside.
“Who the fuck is this jackass in the pink Jimmy Saville glasses?” tweeted McGregor, likening the YouTuber to one of history’s most prolific celebrity sex offenders.
Paul, however, isn’t one to turn the other cheek. Feeling the sting of loss for the first time in his boxing career, the 5-0 fighter clapped back at The Notorious One, providing a laundry list of reasons why he’s the better man.
“Im the one who has done more for fighters than you ever have; the one who has won 5 fights in the past 2 years while you have lost 5; the one who isn’t owned by Dana White; the one who made the fight you just watched happen; the 1 who got your hero Katie Taylor paid; that’s who,” tweeted Paul.
This isn’t the first time McGregor has branded Paul a jackass. He famously did so just last month after Jake criticized a video showcasing the Irishman’s boxing skills. McGregor has, however, been reluctant to engage with the regular mud-slinging from Paul. But his latest tweet could be a sign of plenty more online skirmishes between the duo.

Conor McGregor called out Jake Paul for his outfit choice during the Amanda Serrano vs Katie Taylor fight.
Paul has been in the corner of Serrano while McGregor has been backing his fellow Irish fighter in Taylor. Taylor ultimately beat Serrano via split decision to retain the undisputed title. It was an absolute barnburner of a fight and one of the best fights in recent memory. Some would even argue that it was the best women’s fight in the history of the sport.
Serrano is currently signed to Paul’s promotion, MVP (Most Valuable Promotions), and is currently the only fighter signed to the promotion. Paul has been backing her in the entire lead and even had a bet with Eddie Hearn for $1 Million but wasn’t formally made due to a conflict of interest on Hearn’s side of things.
immediately after Taylor won by split decision, Paul took to Twitter to go to bat for his fighter. He simply tweeted out “Robbed”.
Conor McGregor took no time to call Paul out for what he was wearing as well, Which started a back and forth between the two

Paul quickly fired a barrage of insults back at him in a lengthy tweet.
“Im the one who has done more for fighters than you ever have the one who has won 5 fights in the past 2 years while you have lost 5 the one who isn’t owned by Dana White the one who made the fight you just watched happen the 1 who got your hero Katie Taylor paid that’s who” Paul quote tweeted in a reply to McGregor.
Conor hilariously tweeted out a picture of Jimmy Savile in response to Paul.

Undefeated and undisputed. Bray native, Katie Taylor remains the unified lightweight champion after a 10 round back-and-forth war against challenger, Amanda Serrano — defeating the Puerto Rico striker with a close, split decision win at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
In an incredibly close and even fight, Taylor faced major adversity in the fifth round midway through the fight, also suffering the first knockdown of her professional career as Serrano backed her to her own corner and laid out severe punishment with a slew of hooks and straight shots.
Taking her foot off the proverbial gas pedal in the sixth frame, Serrano — who had arguably stolen three of the opening four, uber-close rounds, ultimately gave up the final few frames on the judge’s scorecards with Taylor rallying and countering on cue when opportunity arose.
