Tate, who spent his early years in Luton, England, is currently investigated by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism, with reports in Romania – where Tate is a resident, claiming he and his brother, Tristan, are being questioned on suspicion of forming an organized crime group which procure girls to star in adult films and videos.
In a statement provided by a spokesperson for Andrew Tate to the Daily Mirror, the statement confirms the siblings will “always assist and help in any way they can.”
“We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can.”
In a tweet posted by Nelk Boys member, Kyle Forgeard – the YouTuber claimed Tate himself predicted his own arrest during a recent podcast appearance on the channel.
“So, the truth is this – I knew it was coming – I absolutely knew it was coming, because of how orchestrated it was,” Andrew Tate said. “The only thing – and I’ll state this at the beginning, why I was upset that I was cancelled, was because I expired one of my lives. First, you get cancelled, and then they make up a reason to put you in jail. If that fails, they ill you.”
“Now I’m down to my last two lives,” Andrew Tate explained. “So while I’m answering this question, I’m still being careful how I’m answering it. They’ve now given me the warning. And I’m still running my mouth. So that’s scary. But, here’s how cancellation works. I knew it was going to happen – ‘cause it’s very, very orchestrated attacks.”

As it turns out, Tate’s arrest may have been possible all because of a takeout pizza and his desire to pick a fight with a teenager on social media. On Wednesday, Tate took a shot at Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, gloating about his 33-car collection and their “enormous emissions.” Thunberg responded back with a fairly sick burn that prompted a quick response from Tate.
Andrew Tate’s Love For Pizza is His Downfall
In Andrew Tate’s response, he can be seen sitting in a room while smoking a cigar and preparing to enjoy a slice of pizza. As it turns out, the pizza box was from ‘Jerry’s Pizza,’ a popular Romanian chain, and provided the exact evidence authorities needed to move in on Tate. Authorities were reportedly keeping a keen eye on Tate’s social media posts as of late, looking for any sign that he was in the country.
Unfortunately for Tate, his craving for ‘za is what did it.

Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith don’t agree with Andrew Tate’s stance on Brazilian jiu-jitsu being unreliable in street fights.
During his YouTube show, Bisping and Smith reacted to a video of Andrew Tate calling Brazilian jiu-jitsu “useless” in the street.
“BJJ is absolutely useless outside the cage or your dojo…It’s useless. You can’t do a double-leg takedown on concrete. You’re going to f**k yourself up. Even if you do take him down to the ground, many submissions don’t work if he can bite or he can scratch your eyes or if he can pull a knife,” Tate said. “Thirdly, you don’t know if he has friends. You’re going to take him to the ground, put him in an arm bar and his friends are going to f**king football kick you in the head or curb stomp you and you’re going to die. The number one rule of street fighting is stay on your feet.”
Michael Bisping disagreed with Tate’s stance on BJJ. He said the technique is different when someone is fighting a one-on-one fight.
“Some elements of what he said there is correct that you don’t want to do a double-leg takedown on the street cause I’ve said that. If you’re fighting multiple people and you take someone down and get on top of them, yeah of course the friends will run up behind you…In a one-on-one environment, if you’re going up against another man. A black in jiu-jitsu versus someone that’s not, I’ll take the black belt all day long.”
Michael Bisping Doesn’t Think Biting and Scratching Plays A Factor In A Street Fight
The MMA legend also addressed how biting and scratching are unreliable on the ground. He says BJJ moves are way more lethal. Smith also reiterated how biting is not reliable in a BJJ scenario.
“One singular martial art. There’s always going to be a give and a take,” Smith said. “He’s going to be devastating from the outside but if someone gets a hold of you and you don’t know any jiu-jitsu at all, you’re proper f**ked.”
Notably, Michael Bisping is a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu while Smith is a black belt. Tate is known as a long-time kickboxer. He’s also competed in three professional MMA fights. His last MMA fight was in 2010.
