Boxing Hall of Famer Mayweather took on YouTube influencer Deji in an exhibition boxing fight Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. ‘Money’ Mayweather put in a commanding performance and schooled the social media star before the referee called a stop to the contest in the sixth round.

Jake Paul faces off Andrew Tate ringside at Floyd Mayweather v Deji

Influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul was in attendance to witness the exhibition live in the arena alongside internet icon Andrew Tate, who quickly became the most searched celebrity on Google, ahead of the likes of Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian. The former professional kickboxing world champion got banned from most mainstream social media platforms after allegedly promoting misogynistic views.

In a recent video shared by Global Titans Fight Series, the organization that hosted Mayweather v Deji, Paul can be seen facing off against Tate for a second time within a week.

“Jake Paul and Andrew Tate facing off ringside at Floyd Mayweather vs Deji…” tweeted Michael Benson of talkSPORT.

Paul is coming off the biggest win of his career over mixed martial arts icon Anderson Silva in the boxing ring last month. ‘The Problem Child’ faced his toughest test in ‘The Spider‘ and eventually edged out Silva on the judges’ scorecards by unanimous decision. He extended his unbeaten run as a pro boxer to six with the win. Following the victory, he did not indicate whom he would like to take on next.

Although Paul got linked to a mega-crossover bout with former UFC superstar Nate Diaz, who expressed his willingness in the prospect, he recently teased a potential showdown with Tate. He faced off against Tate and teased the negotiations were in progress.

Undefeated professional boxer, Jake Paul has added fuel to the fire regarding a potential future fight with former kickboxing champion, Andrew Tate – claiming negotiations for the bout is underway, as the two square off face-to-face in the presence of Paul’s manager, Nikisa Bidarian.

Headlining a Showtime PPV at the end of last month, Paul improved to 6-0 as a professional boxer, scoring a unanimous decision win over former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva – dropping the Brazilian with a right hand in the eight and final round to boot.

As for Tate, the outspoken American-born former kickboxing champion, has not competed in combat sports professionally since 2020, scoring his third consecutive victory in the process.

A vocal social media influencer and marketing strategist who offered paid subscriptions to discord channels on advice on masculinity and how to earn revenue, Tate’s sudden explosion in online presence, has seen him linked to a slew of matchups against the likes of YouTuber and musician, KSI, as well as Logan Paul – the elder brother of the above-mentioned, Jake Paul.

Off the back of his decision win over Silva at the end of last month, Paul was linked with a fight against former UFC welterweight contender, Nate Diaz, as well as calling for a fight with world champion puncher, Canelo Alvarez next.

Israel Adesanya

Ahead of his UFC 281 headliner this weekend at Madison Square Garden, Israel Adesanya has defended some of the viewpoints of social media influencer and social commentator, Andrew Tate – describing his marketing strategy as “genius”.

Returning to the Octagon for the third time this year in a weekend headlining clash, Adesanya will attempt to not only land his sixth successful title defense at the middleweight limit, but also avenge a pair of kickboxing losses to Brazilian striking phenom, Alex Pereira.

The City Kickboxing star last competed in the main event of UFC 276 back in July against Jared Cannonier – retaining his title in a much-criticized and lacklustre performance, despite a billing of a standout finish win from Adesanya ahead of the fight.

Israel Adesanya talks up controversial influencer, Andrew Tate

Previewing his clash with Pereira this weekend in New York City, Adesanya touched on the subject of the outspoken and chastised, Tate, praising his “genius” marketing scheme.

“I didn’t know him when he was kickboxing,” Israel Adesanya told the Mirror ahead of UFC 281. “But there was a time maybe a few months ago, before he got ‘cancelled’ – you can’t cancel anyone – when he just started to pop up on my Instagram and my YouTube and I was like, ‘Who the f*ck is this guy?’”

“Then I was listening to guys like Andrew Schulz talk about the smart system he did – I’m paraphrasing, but he paid people to post or make pages about him and just flood the internet,” Israel Adesanya explained. “If he created that marketing strategy, that’s a genius way to get [out there] because he was on everybody’s page. I never really followed his career as a kickboxer. I don’t know what he’s doing now.”

UFC bantamweights, Aljamain Sterling, and Sean O’Malley were both pictured with Tate during their respective trips to Abu Dhabi, UAE for UFC 280 earlier this month – with the former taking flak for his appearance with Tate, which Adesanya defended.

“I saw people were going at ‘Funkmaster’ (Aljamain Sterling) for that,” Israel Adesanya said. “I was like, ‘the f*ck?’ You can’t hang with someone? If he shows me respect I’ll show him respect. I’ve never met him, I have nothing with him. Some of his messages I can understand people didn’t like, but I’ve heard some of it.”

“I like Jordan Peterson, he gets the same message across without the bravado,” Adesanya explained. “I like bravado, I like the style but I feel Jordan Peterson gets it across in a different way to Andrew Tate.”

Logan Paul welcomes Andrew Tate fight: ‘Maybe I would take the opportunity to turn his f*cking face inside out’

Logan Paul

Social media influencer and podcast host, Logan Paul, the elder sibling of undefeated professional boxer, Jake Paul – has welcomed the opportunity to share the squared circle with former Kickboxing world champion and outspoken social commenter, Andrew Tate – threatening to turn the American-born influencer’s “face inside out”.

Paul, who boxed professionally just once in the form of a rematch with British rapper and musician, KSI in a re-run of a prior amateur matchup between the two, notably faced former multiple time and weight boxing world champion, Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition matchup last year.

For his younger brother, Jake Paul, the Ohio native improved to 6-0 professionally over the course of the weekend in Arizona – handing former undisputed UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva a unanimous decision loss at the Diamond Desert Arena.

Tate on the other hand, had primarily competed as a professional Kickboxer during his time in combat sports, winning world championships and titles, as well as defeating former UFC feature, Luke Barnatt on the amateur circuit in the United Kingdom.

Logan Paul flirts with a potential clash against Andrew Tate

Welcoming a potential grudge match against Tate in the future, Logan Paul claimed that while he would hate to offer the outspoken social commenter a platform as his views don’t align with his own, he took solace in the thought of potentially scoring a devastating win over the former combat sports feature.

“He’s (Andrew Tate) being rude and disrespectful to females because he thinks they should have their body count strapped to their forehead,” Logan Paul said during a podcast appearance with UFC bantamweight contender, Sean O’Malley. “That’s ridiculous, like, ‘Okay’, then men should have the size of their c*ck strapped to their forehead.”

“…I’m not sure if I wanted to fight him, because I didn’t want to platform him,” Logan Paul explained. “I’m not sure if I want to support someone who fundamentally I disagree with, I said what I said, I didn’t feel like platforming him. But then this motherf*cker starts talking a lot of sh*t… maybe I would take the opportunity to platform him, just for one night. And turn his f*cking face inside out. Have him wheeled home on the gurney, with his brother holding his hand in the ambulance. The thought of that is kinda compelling.”

Paul has also recently turned his hand to professional wrestling with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), and has already competed at the organization’s flagship event, WrestleMania in the past year.
