LowKick MMA will be live on-site to bring you Bellator 275: Mousasi vs. Vanderford results throughout the night (Fri. February 25. 2022) live from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Headlining the promotion’s return to Dublin for the first time since November: an undisputed middleweight championship bout between reigning champion, Gegard Mousasi, and the undefeated, Austin Vanderford.

Mousasi, a former DREAM, Strikeforce, and Cage Warriors champion, looks to score the second defense of his second reign as middleweight champion against the unbeaten, Vanderford — most recently stopping John Salter with ground strikes in the third round of their Bellator 264 clash back in August.

For Vanderford, the undefeated Dana White‘s Contender Series alum turned in his eleventh consecutive professional victory at Bellator 259, securing a unanimous decision win over Fabian Edwards.

In the night’s co-headliner — a historic high-profile All-Ireland clash between featherweight contenders, Sinead Kavanagh, and Leah McCourt.

Kavanagh, a native of Dublin, looks to grab a hometown win against McCourt — and subsequently rebound to the winner’s enclosure following a December title knockout loss to defending queen, Cris Cyborg.

For McCourt, the Northern Ireland native improved to 6-1 back in October at Bellator London — securing an impressive unanimous decision victory against Jessica Borga.

LowKick MMA will be bringing you Bellator 270: Queally vs. Pitbull 2 results throughout the night (Sat. 30th. October 2021) live from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Taking main event status on the promotion’s return to Dublin — the vacant lightweight title is up for grabs between Peter ‘The Showstopper’ Queally and division veteran, Patricky ‘Pitbull’ Freire — as the pair rematch following a May matchup earlier this year.

Initially matching up at Bellator 258, Waterford native, Queally managed to score an eventual second round TKO victory due to a doctor’s stoppage at the end of the frame, after he opened up a significant laceration on the hairline of Pitbull via a series of slashing elbows from the bottom.

The win came as Queally’s second straight under the promotion’s banner following an impressive rallying effort against common-foe, Ryan Scope back at the 3Arena in September of 2019.

For Brazilian veteran, Pitbull, the loss came as his second consecutively following a unanimous decision loss to Tofiq Musayev under the Rizin FF banner back in December 2019.

In the night’s co-headliner, a pivotal bantamweight matchup between streaking grappling standout, James ‘The Strabanimal’ Gallagher and the #3 ranked one-time title challenger, Patchy ‘No Love’ Mix.

Unbeaten in his last four on the bounce, Strabane native, Gallagher most recently headlined Bellator Euro Series 9 in October of last year in Milan, Italy — submitting Cal Ellenor with a first round rear-naked choke.

For New York native, Mix, the one-time bantamweight title challenger returned from his first career loss in May — stopping short-notice replacement, Albert Morales with a third round arm-triangle.

It was a great night for SBG Ireland at Bellator Dublin earlier today.

In the main event of the night, James Gallagher got a quick first-round submission victory over Roman Salazar with a guillotine choke. UFC star Conor McGregor, who was sitting cageside for the action, was greeted by Gallagher after the win, as he jumped out of the cage, and onto McGregor for a hug.

The pair celebrated for a few moments before Gallagher returned to the cage. Check out the finish and the celebration between Gallagher and McGregor below, courtesy of the Bellator MMA Twitter account.

That wasn’t the only celebration McGregor was a part of tonight. He also celebrated a victory for another one of his teammates on the card, Peter Queally, who picked up a second-round TKO win in spectacular fashion after nearly being finished in the first round himself.

We mentioned Conor McGregor showed up to Bellator Dublin earlier today to support a few of his teammates competing on the card.

McGregor witnessed one of his teammates, Peter Queally, pull off a comeback second-round TKO victory over Ryan Scope after nearly being finished himself in the first round. As a result, McGregor got up on the cage to hug his teammate, before standing cageside to shout a few words of congratulations to Queally.

As you can see, Bellator security was firmly prepared for a McGregor move given his history as an attendee of the promotion’s shows.

McGregor has attended Bellator events in the past and has caused quite a bit of trouble while attending. In 2017, McGregor was at Bellator 187 to support teammate Charlie Ward. After Ward won the fight by knockout, McGregor jumped into the cage to celebrate the victory with Ward.

However, referee Marc Goddard was still trying to determine if the knockout happened before or after the bell. A skirmish ensued after Goddard attempted to remove McGregor from the cage, as the Irishman wound up punching a security guard in the midst of the chaos. Thankfully nothing like that happened this time around.

What do you make of McGregor going up cageside to celebrate with Queally?
