Paul was able to bounce back from the loss to Fury with a win over Nate Diaz.

2. Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry

‘Platinum’ Mike Perry was an experienced UFC fighter who would go to be a bare-knuckle boxing champion. With power in his hands, in bare-knuckle boxing matches, he had been able to defeat athletes such as Thiago Alves, Eddie Alvarez, Luke Rockhold, and Michael ‘Venom’ Page. If we only have two minutes, we’ll fight more … He was a new up-and-coming guy on the scene, and I like shaking the sports world to its core and I’m doing it now. It’s just something I want to do.”

Jake Paul countered with, ““I’m a natural born heavyweight. This is what I was born to do, to move up into this weight class. I’m going to show Mike who has more power because he’s underestimating me. I think everyone else is underestimating me and I believe that I hit harder.”

Manny Pacquiao RIZIN

The boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will soon be facing former K-1 Kickboxing world champion Rukiya Anpo in a boxing bout. This will take place in Super Rizin 3 on July 28 live from the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan. If the Japanese-born striker Anpo throws a kick at Pacquiao, he will find himself with quite a hefty fine.

Manny Pacquiao vs. Rukiya Anpo

The Filipino-born Manny Pacquiao is considered one of the all-time greats in boxing history. The icon has earned multiple world titles across weight classes and organizations. Incredibly, he was able to earn the Lineal title in five divisions throughout his storied career.

Since retiring from professional boxing, ‘Pac-Man’ has kept busy with a career in politics. But, has also been taking various bouts. On July 28, he will meet a kickboxing champion in RIZIN. This will be a special rules fight, similar to boxing but will include spinning back fists, and will be a three-round exhibition match.

Japan’s Rukiya Anpo has spent a lifetime in kick-sports. As a child, he had won national karate competitions. Eventually, he would turn to professional kickboxing and earn multiple titles in K-1 World GP. The striker is best known for his highlight-reel knockouts. But against Pacquiao, he will be unable to kick.

Originally, Chihiro Suzuki was to be the opponent of Pacquiao. However, Suzuki injured his hand during an exhibition boxing match against PRIDE FC champion Takanori Gomi and was forced to withdraw. Anpo stepped in to meet the Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao at 68 kg.

RIZIN president Nobuyuki Sakakibara, translated by Beyond Kickboxing, explained the stakes, “Any violation will be punishable by a $5 million fine. At the time of Tenshin vs. Mayweather in 2018 that was approximately 500 million yen. However, due to the weak yen, that figure is now around 750 million yen [laughs].” If Anpo is unable to pay that much money, “Then he will have no choice but to pay with his body [laughs].”

Super Rizin 3 will include bare-knuckle fights, and MMA matches, in addition to this special rules contest. Headlining the July 28 fight card will be the Tokyo street fighting legend Mikuru Asakura facing the highly popular Ren Hiramoto.

Jake Paul Mike Perry

Turki Alalshikh, Saudi Arabian advisor, was not too impressed with the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry boxing match that went down this past weekend. Jake Paul was able to defeat the former UFC fighter by way of TKO in the sixth round.

Who is Turki Alalshik?

Turki Alalshikh is the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and a key figure behind VIsion 2030, he is a leader in Saudi Arabia with a focus on entertainment and sports. This Riyadh-based figure has been the key hand behind eliminating the red tape in boxing that has existed for so long. Dream matchups have been able to be booked under his watch such as Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk which required multiple governing bodies in boxing to sign on.

The UFC and PFL MMA have both worked alongside the Saudi leader. Additionally, Turki Alalshikh has been the driving force behind the former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou’s move to boxing, having faced world champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in Riyadh.

“We are committed to the long-term success of this industry; prepared to navigate challenges as we work towards our goal. We will collaborate with all stakeholders to advance boxing and optimize the market. For that, everyone understands that we’re taking this very seriously.” Alalshikh told ESPN about the long-term vision.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry

Jake Paul, the YouTube star, has been able to put on some blockbuster fights in the world of boxing. “He “The Problems Child” has been able to defeat former UFC fighters such as Nate Diaz, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and most recently Mike Perry. These matches sell well on pay-per-view, but Paul has often been criticized for not facing a ranked boxer in a boxing match.

“This is not boxing …” was the reaction from Turki Alalshikh regarding the Jake Paul fight. “Francis [is a] real fighter and [does] great fight not like this circus,” he added.

In their eight-round clash, Jake Paul was able to stop Mike Perry in just six rounds. But the TKO win did not impress the Saudi Arabian figure.

Jake Paul confident of win over Alex Pereira when I beat him what will they say then?

Remaining confident of his chances in a potential future professional boxing match against former two-weight UFC champion, Alex Pereira, polarizing star, Jake Paul has questioned what pundits and critics will have to say if he somehow beats the Brazilian kingpin.

Paul, who returned to action overnight in Tampa, recorded his tenth professional boxing win, taking out Octagon veteran and current BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) star, Mike Perry courtesy of a sixth round knockout win.

And staking his claim immediately for a future professional boxing with Pereira – whom he Facetimed inside the ring overnight after his win over Perry, Paul claimed he would “decapitate” the Sao Paulo light heavyweight champion.

“I want everybody, I love this sport and he’s (Alex Pereira) tweeted about wanting to go into boxing,” Jake Paul said after his win over Mike Perry. “We got him on a Facetime right there in the ring and I said, ‘Yo, can you get out of your [UFC] contract?’”

“That’s too big of a risk if I can embarrass his (Dana White’s) number one praised fighter right now,” Jake Paul explained. “But I want all the smoke, I want all the MMA guys, and I’ve beaten all of them – who’s next? He’s the king right now of the UFC so I want him, I’m going to decapitate him and dethrone him.”

Jake Paul confident of beating Alex Pereira in a future fight

Claiming he would be waiting intently for a response from naysayers if he beats Pereira in a pipedream boxing showdown, Paul claimed the Brazilian’s size matches up with him on paper.

“Alex Pereira rehydrated to 240 [pounds],” Jake Paul said on his podcast. “I want someone who then I f*ck them up like I did tonight, there is no excuses. When I beat him (Alex Pereira) what the f*ck can they say?”

Mike Perry responds to Conor McGregor firing him from BKFC, tells 'Mystic Mac' to step up and fight Jake Paul

It didn’t take long for Conor McGregor’s support of Mike Perry to turn to disdain after ‘Platinum’ came up short in his big-money boxing match with YouTube sensation Jake Paul on Saturday night.

Shortly after the BKFC’s undisputed ‘King of Violence’ went down in the sixth round, McGregor — who became a part owner in the promotion earlier this year — declared that Perry was fired.

Conor McGregor

“Hey Mike youre released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired,” McGregor wrote on X immediately following the fight.

Responding to his unceremonious dismissal during the post-fight press conference, ‘Platinum’ scoffed at McGregor’s power play, claiming ‘The Notorious’ has no authority to make that kind of executive decision.

Perry also questioned why McGregor never accepted Jake Paul’s challenge, suggesting the UFC megastar would take a worse beating than the one Floyd Mayweather handed him back in 2017.

“He doesn’t f*cking have a promotion,” Perry said. “Me and him are both owners of BKFC, so he can’t fire me. We can fight in bare-knuckle. Look at me, I lost to Jake Paul. Why don’t you go fight Jake Paul in boxing with the gloves on? I think it would be worse than Conor McGregor vs. [Floyd] Mayweather.”

McGregor vs. Paul likely hasn’t happened yet because there’s no way in hell Dana White would ever sign off on it. But with only two fights left on his UFC contract, we could very well see ‘Mystic Mac’ throw hands with ‘The Problem Child’ in the years to come.

Jake Paul’s KO of Mike Perry was the second-best finish on the night

In addition to seeing Jake Paul score his third-straight knockout, fight fans were treated to another impressive showing from undisputed featherweight world champion Amanda Serrano who made quick work of Stevie Morgan in the co-main event of the evening.

Both Paul and Serrano will return to the ring on November 15 when ‘The Problem Child’ meets ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson in a controversial boxing clash live on Netflix.

But as impressive as Jake Paul’s performance against Mike Perry was, the Knockout of the Night undoubtedly went to Lucas Bhadi who absolutely bodied Ashton ‘H20’ Sylve in the middle fight of the main card.

It took Sylve a long time to finally wake up, but he eventually walked out of the ring under his own power. Still, the KO was so scary that ring announcer Joe Martinez asked the crowd and those watching at home to extend their thoughts and prayers to Sylve.

“Ladies and gentlemen, before we announce our winner, we ask you to please extend your thoughts and prayers to H2O Sylve and may God restore him.”

Sylve was dispatched to a local hospital but appeared to be in good spirits via a post on social media.

'Sugar' Sean O'Malley reacts to Jake Paul's gutsy callout of fellow UFC champion Alex Pereira

‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley was excited to see his business buddy Jake Paul score another big win inside the squared circle on Saturday night.

Emanating from Amalie Arena in Tampa, it was clear that ‘The Problem Child’ was on another level compared to that of his opponent, BKFC’s undisputed ‘King of Violence’ Mike Perry. Paul sent Perry crashing to the canvas in the opening minute of the fight and repeated the process in round two. By the time they hit the sixth, ‘Platinum’ had nothing left to give.

Paul finished things off with an onslaught of strikes that forced the referee to step in and call for the stoppage, handing the YouTube sensation his third-straight win by way of knockout.

Having gone into business with Paul in June, launching a Walmart-exclusive deodorant brand called W, O’Malley was understandably thrilled to see ‘The Problem Child’ body another opponent in such a dominant fashion.

O’Malley sees things playing out the same way when Paul returns to the ring in November for his controversial clash with former unified heavyweight world champion ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

“A few of those knockdowns were pretty f*cking brutal, god damn that was sweet,” hailed O’Malley via his YouTube channel, noting how “Jake looks like he’s improving every single fight,” as attention now turns to the Tyson fight.

“I’m pretty excited for [the Mike Tyson fight], I feel like it might look similar to that – I mean Mike Tyson is almost 60, Jake’s 30 years younger so I feel like it might look similar to that [finish]” (h/t Bloody Elbow).

As impressive as Jake Paul’s performance against Perry was, much of the post-fight coverage surrounded Paul’s ballsy callout of reigning UFC light heavyweight king Alex Pereira.

“All right boys, what’s next for Jake Paul? Obviously, he’s fighting Mike Tyson in November, [but] he called out Alex Pereira, that fight won’t happen unless Dana says, ‘I’m sick of seeing Jake beat all these UFC guys I’m f*cking giving it.’

“But imagine Alex Pereira versus Jake Paul, dude – Alex has crazy power in both hands but the dude literally throws from his hips, like he’s there to be hit… That was a big thing about Mike Perry; he was there to be hit, his chin was floating, he was off balance, his chin was just kind of there to be hit.”

Sean O’Malley is All-In on Crossover Fights

Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson is scheduled for November 15 and will air exclusively on Netflix to the streaming giant’s almost 280 million subscribers. Originally, their scrap was expected to go down this month, but after suffering a medical emergency while on a cross-country flight in May, Tyson was forced to take some time away from training.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

“Jake is doing such a good job [because] after a fight, the biggest thing is what’s next and you got to set yourself up for those opportunities and Jake’s doing that better than anyone right now,” O’Malley said. “He’s calling out who’s next, he already has a fight booked. He’s doing a really good job.

“People want to see you against the actual best guys in the world so it’s hard, he definitely has boxing skills, he’s definitely dedicated, definitely very high level but how good is he? You can’t really determine that until you see him against the guy in the Top 30.”

Rather than seeing his business partner test his skills against legitimate boxers, the UFC bantamweight champ is perfectly happy watching Paul compete in big-money crossover fights with some of combat sports’ top stars.

“I’ll do Jake Paul versus Mike Perry MMA, Jake Paul versus Mike Perry bare-knuckle, Jake Paul versus Nate Diaz even… I personally enjoy watching him fight these MMA guys, I’ll watch any Jake fight, [but] I get f*cking hyped for these crossover fights – I f*cking love these crossover fights,” O’Malley concluded.
