Order Jade Bryce’s 2015 Calendar, And Support a Great Cause

When it comes to MMA ring girls, Bellator’s Jade Bryce is certainly in the conversation for G.O.A.T. Our favorite fighter-impressionist has always devoted a large chunk of her life to charitable efforts, and she’s come up with another way to raise money for a good cause: Proceeds from all sales of her 2015 calendar will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“St. Jude’s is something that’s very dear to my heart,” Jade told CagePotato. “Children in pain are what keep me up at night, and St. Jude’s takes that pain away for so many of them. Before it was founded, over 90% of children with cancer died. St. Jude’s has completely turned that statistic around — now that many SURVIVE and their parents aren’t charged a dime.

“I have visited the hospital, and it’s the happiest sad place on earth. They give children so much hope in the daily activities, including schoolwork so that they feel like their life is going to continue — otherwise why would they still be in school? They are solely run on donations, and each donation goes towards saving a child’s life.”

Jade’s 2015 calendar is available for $30 at OfficialJadeBryce.com, and all calendars will be signed by Jade herself. Here’s a small taste of the photos in the calendar; we’ve put one more pic after the jump that’s juuuuust a little too risqué to leave on the homepage. Enjoy.

Support St. Jude’s and Win a Date With Bellator Ring Girl Jade Bryce at the 2012 Fighter’s Only World MMA Awards!

tk
(Sure, when Jade hangs out naked surrounded by photos of herself, it’s sexy, but when I do it, my neighbors call the cops.)

Here’s what we’ve learned about Bellator ring girl Jade Bryce in recent months:

1. She is a staunch supporter of the “No pants, no problem” policy when it comes to photo shoots. Seriously, there is not a problem on this Earth she wouldn’t attempt to solve by dropping trou, God bless her.

2. She could whip even the fattest of asses into tip top shape.

3. Her looks are only surpassed by her incredibly humble humanitarian efforts.

So with all that in mind, it makes sense that Jade — who has been nominated for “Ring Girl of the Year” at the 2012 Fighters Only World MMA Awards — will be auctioning off her plus one ticket for the event to the highest bidder in an effort to raise money for the children’s charity St. Jude’s. It’s an incredibly kindhearted move on Bryce’s part that deserves recognition, although if you ask us, the real charity here is that Bryce is willing to spend an evening being ogled at by someone like this while reminding them that “No, I will not demonstrate a proper triangle choke on you later tonight.”

Regardless, Bryce seemed her usual cheerful self while describing both the details of the evening and the cause at hand:

The winner will attend the ceremony with me. We will walk the red carpet and experience the event together. They will only have to win the auction and pay for their flight to Las Vegas; a hotel room will be provided for them. Although I should point out that I won’t be in the hotel room with them!

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Every month I try and do something creative on how to help children in need, and this month I hope to use this opportunity to bless children with cancer.

100% of the profits will go to St. Jude’s, so you can place your bids here (somehow, as of this writing there have been none) and vote on this year’s categories for the 2012 World MMA Awards here.

This evening, Nick Diaz was supposed to compete against Braulio Estima at the World Jiu Jitsu Expo. I say supposed to because Nick Diaz no-showed the event. The story that we’re getting is that Diaz was mad Estima missed weight yesterday and didn’t know that he made weight today. It’s believable if this were the […]

Help Raise Money for Dan Miller’s Son’s Kidney Transplant and Get a Limited Edition ‘Chocolate Al’ Shirt in Return

By Mike Russell

If you recall, we posted a story last week about UFC middleweight Dan Miller’s son, Danny Jr. needing a kidney transplant which is going to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $100,000 plus an additional $10,000 per month in medication for at least the first year.

With the help of a few kind individuals in the MMA community and with the permission of my daughter Abby who created the meme, we will be selling “Chocolate Al” shirts to help raise money for the cause for one week. If you don’t know who Al is, do yourself a favor and read this first.

After factoring in the cost of the shirts, which will be printed for free by Josh from www.TrueFightGear.com, and the price of shipping, we came up with a highly affordable price of $23 for the shirt with free shipping in Canada and the U.S. and an additional $2 per item shipped internationally.

From each shirt sold, we expect to make between $14 and $17 and we got word today that “Chocolate Al” himself, Chuck Liddell, has offered to sign a bunch of shirts that will be auctioned off to raise more for the Millers.

If you are a Dan Miller fan, a parent, or just a person who has a heart, buy a shirt and show the kind of spirit that sets the community involved in this sport apart from all the others.

Since they went on sale last night, over $1000 has been raised towards the cause.

To get ahold of your own limited edition shirt, visit http://chocolatealshirtsfordannymiller.bigcartel.com/.

FYI, we also have it on good authority that the UFC stepped up and made a substantial donation to the Daniel James Miller Foundation, but that’s no reason not to donate more to ensure that Danny gets the best care possible. I’d like to think that people would do the same for me if one of my kids needed the help.
