After 14 years, UFC legend Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is finally going to tussle with ‘Titties.’

Four years removed from his last bout against heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko under the Bellator MMA banner, ‘Rampage’ will return to the cage for one more fight for the United Fight League this December. No official date has been revealed, but during an appearance on the JAXXON podcast, Jackson revealed that he would be facing Darrill Schoonover. Ultimate Fighter fans will affectionately remember Schoonover as ‘Titties,’ a nickname given to him by the former 205-pound champ.

“The promotor [of UFL] wanted me to fight. I was like, ‘Okay, I’ll come back and fight grudge matches only.’ So, I’m going to fight ‘Titties’ from The Ultimate Fighter. He just signed the contract yesterday or today for December,” Jackson said. ‘Yeah, I’ll be in shape. By that time, I’ll be 230, hopefully, and I’ll fight ‘Titties.’”

Rampage’ signed on as a coach for the 10th season of the long-running reality series in 2009, coaching opposite Rashad Evans. Jackson regularly bullied Schoonover by calling him ‘Titties’ throughout the season. Things reached a boiling point between the two when Jackson grabbed Schoonover’s chest, causing Schoonover to shove him.

‘Rampage’ Reveals How He Got ‘Titties’ to Sign on the Dotted Line

‘Rampage’ took the incident a little too personally and has held onto the grudge for more than a decade. 14 years later, the two will settle things inside the UFL cage. As for how Jackson managed to get Schoonover to sign on the dotted line, he said:

“The way I got ‘Titties to fight was, I told him: ‘Look, if you beat me, I will never call you ‘Titties’ again, and he was like okay, let’s do this.’…Titties is gonna lose.”

Jackson walked away from the sport in 2019 following an appearance at Bellator 237 in Saitama, Japan. He competed in 52 career fights in some of the world’s biggest combat sports organizations, including PRIDE and the UFC. During his 20-year run, ‘Rampage’ captured the UFC light heavyweight title and earned wins over some of the biggest names in the game, such as Chuck Liddell, Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua, Dan Henderson, Wanderlei Silva, and Lyoto Machida.

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson is set to make his return to the Bellator cage, when he takes on Olympic Judo gold medalist Satoshi Ishii at Bellator 157 tonight (June 24, 2016).

Earlier this past week, courtesy of MMA Fighting, ‘Rampage’ took some time to talk with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour to discuss his thoughts on Ishii and his unique sill set:

“Honestly, I didn’t really know much about him because I don’t really watch a lot of fights,” Jackson said. “I didn’t know anything about him, but then I heard he’s a southpaw and a judo guy, and I was like, ‘ah, hell.’

This is going to be a good test for me because, to be honest, I don’t do well against southpaws. And judo is kind of awkward for MMA, that’s why Ronda Rousey was smashing girls so bad, so quickly.

Because somebody that can do judo efficiently in MMA, can be very dangerous if you don’t know how to handle it.”

RampageJackson was then asked on which weight class he plans on competing in following his bout with Ishii, given the bout is a catchweight fight at 225 pounds, and revealed he no longer wishes to cut weight:

“I haven’t really thought about it, but I’m thinking about maybe fighting heavyweight or something like that,” Jackson said. “I’m not going to lie, I’m too old to be cutting weight. I’m over all the cutting weight sh*t.”

‘Rampage’ was then pondered with the idea of possibly stepping inside the cage with Russian MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko, an idea that seemed to excite the former 205-pound UFC champion:

“That would be an incredible fight,” Jackson said. “Fedor is back. He’s always been one of my favorites, and I really love his fighting style.

That would be a great fight to put me in as well, but you know, Fedor and I are friends, we don’t talk to each other cause we speak different languages.

But at the end of the day, like I said, my job is to fight. So if that fight comes up, I would happily take it.”

Newly signed Bellator heavyweight Matt Mitrione was also mentioned as a possible opponent for Jackson in the near future, as the two share a history dating back to 2009 during the pair’s encounters during The Ultimate Fighter 10 (TUF 10):

“I’m sure Matt Mitrione’s ugly ass wants to see that fight happen too,” Jackson said. “I’m not opposed to it, but I don’t want to fight two southpaws back to back.

Like I said, I f*cking hate to fight southpaws because it’s hard to find sparring partners and stuff, but hey, at the end of the day it’s my job to fight, and I’ll fight anybody.

MattMitrioneWeighInWhile Jackson would be open to a bout with Mitrione, he would much rather throw down with another TUF 10 cast-member who did rub him the wrong way…… Darrill Schoonover, or as ‘Rampage’ likes to refer to him as, ‘T*tties’.

“I don’t turn down fights, but i really want to fight T*tties. I have no beef with Mitrione, I had beef with T*tties.

I’ve really been trying to fight T*tties, but Bellator doesn’t want to see it for some reason. I don’t understand why not. T*tties needs to get these hands all up in his face. I told T*tties, if I win, I’m going to motorboat him. And I ain’t lying.”

Jackson was asked why after all these years he still wants to fight Schoonover, he had this to say:

“Because T*tties keeps talking sh*t, and he’s still on my Twitter talking sh*t,” Jackson said. “I’m a fighter, so if another fighter is talking sh*t to me and sh*t like that, I’m going to fight him.

I don’t have to fight him in Bellator, I can go to his house, you know what I’m saying. I get paid to fight, so I want to be civil, so I can get your fat ass [Schoonover] in the cage and let’s fight.

Now, talk about a thing from TUF 10, that’s who I had the beef with. It was T*tties not Mitrione, but I’ll fight Mitrione. But I’m going to tell you who I really want, I want to shut T*tties’ ass up.”

Bellator 157 is set to go down live on Spike TV from the Scottrade Center, in St.Louis, Missouri on June 24, 2016.

Following Bellator 120 Win, Quinton Jackson Calls Out…James Toney and ‘Titties’ Schoonover? [DAFUQ]

(Props: MMAMayhem via r/MMA)

MMAMayhemRadio‘s Ashley Luther caught up with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson following his Bellator 120 decision win against King Mo, and first off, I just want to congratulate Rampage for making it through a two-minute segment with a female reporter without getting his hump on. (Although he did give us a new quote to add to his interview highlight reel: “I don’t beat ladies…I just beat it up.” Quinton, you classy son of a bitch.)

With Rampage’s next fight in Bellator uncertain, Luther asked him who he’d like to fight next. Jackson’s answer time-warped us back to the MMA glory days of 2009-2010:

Actually, to be honest, I want to fight somebody else that’s on my pissed-off list. I got two more guys. I got Titties, and I got James Toney. I want to fight one of those guys, honestly…I just want to beat up everybody who’s been pissing me off.”

“Titties” of course is Darrill Schoonover, the soft-spoken heavyweight who became a target of Rampage’s on TUF 10 simply because his body had developed earlier than the other boys. James Toney is the gibberish-speaking boxing champ who Randy Couture choked out at UFC 118, and who later called Rampage a “slave to the white man” who “got the Klu Klux Klan behind him.” I gotta be honest — I would happily pay money to see James Toney get humiliated in another MMA fight. And if any promotion is crazy/desperate enough to put it together on pay-per-view, it’s Bellator, right?

In a semi-related story, Rampage was fined $10,000 by the Mississippi Athletic Commission for shoving King Mo at the Bellator 120 weigh-ins. ‘Page responded to the fine by verbally freaking out at Mississippi Athletic Commission chairman Jon Lewis and was nearly removed from the card altogether.

Aleksander Emelianenko to Earn Next Paycheck Against TUF 10 Whipping-Boy Darrill Schoonover

(Do you ever get the feeling that the Emelianenko brothers have Bill Cosby tied up in a closet somewhere? / Photo via MMAWeekly)

After emerging from a retirement that lasted all 12 days of Christmas, nomadic heavyweight Aleksander Emelianenko has been on quite a tear in 2013. He beat up Bob Sapp, he beat up Some Dude, and he got us all hot and bothered by appearing on a poster with Cro Cop. Indeed, the life of a can-crushing international playboy was too seductive to avoid forever. Not that baking bread in a Greek monastery isn’t totally awesome, and all.

Which brings us to Alek’s latest not-particularly-competitive booking: Fightlinker passes along the announcement that Emelianenko will return at an August 25th ProFC show in Rostov-on-Don, where he’ll face Darrill Schoonover, the Texas-bred heavyweight and TUF 10 castmember who is perhaps known best as…yeah…Titties. (Man, Rampage Jackson is just a master when it comes to personal branding.)

Schoonover was a hot prospect when he entered The Ultimate Fighter in 2009, carrying a 10-0 record (all wins by stoppage) and the title of Shark Fights Heavyweight Champion. Then, he went on Kimbo’s season of the reality show, got knocked out in the quarterfinals by Marcus Jones, got TKO’d by James McSweeney at the TUF 10 Finale, then lost four more fights in the minor leagues. But Schoonover is currently on a three-fight win streak, and even pulled off a decision win against Paul Buentello last year.

So…any predictions on this one? The most accurate guess wins this cool rock I just found outside of my house.

“WMMA: McCorkle vs. Heden” — Big Sexy Gets TKO’d, Parisyan and Fancy Pants Win Big

(McCorkle vs. Heden round 1; round 2 is after the jump. Props: PVTHansen16)

Notably stacked for a regional card, Worldwide Mixed Martial Arts‘ debut event went down Saturday night in El Paso, Texas, and was highlighted by an upset in the main event and a handful of UFC vets smashing their way into the win column.

At this point, when Sean McCorkle gets booked against a smaller, doughier opponent with a journeyman’s record, we just assume that “Big Sexy” will bully his way to a first-round stoppage without much difficulty. But WMMA 1’s super-heavyweight main event didn’t go down like that. Though McCorkle (who tipped the scales at 312 pounds) came very close to finishing the 287-pound Brian Heden near the end of the first round, he blew his cardio wad in the process. With McCorkle barely able to lift his arms in round two, Heden was able to reverse a takedown, trap McCorkle’s left arm, and slug his way to a TKO victory. According to Danga, the announcer referred to the win as “the upset of the century.” (Somewhere, Gus Johnson is masturbating.) In a follow-up post on the UG, McCorkle lamented the cardio problems that have plagued his entire athletic career, credited Heden for showing up in “decent shape”* and vowed to retire if his cardio ever contributed to another loss.

In the co-main event, Karo Parisyan snapped a three-fight losing streak when he scored a unanimous decision over veteran Thomas Denny. Even more impressive, Drew Fickett snapped a four-fight losing streak when he choked out WEC/Bellator vet Kevin Knabjian, despite reports that Fickett was pretty well sauced throughout fight week. (Obviously, it could have been worse.)

Further down the card, Lyle “Fancy Pants” Beerbohm rebounded from his two-fight skid in Strikeforce with a first-round guillotine choke against Cleburn Walker. Also, UFC veteran Rodney “Sho Nuff the Master” Wallace outpointed Derrick Mehmen, while TUF 10 punchline Darrill Schoonover scored the biggest win of his career with a unanimous decision against Paul Buentello. The full list of results from WMMA 1 — as well as the stunning conclusion of McCorkle vs. Heden — are below.

– Brian Heden def. Sean McCorkle via TKO in round two
Karo Parisyan def. Thomas Denny via unanimous decision
– Lyle Beerbohm def. Cleburn Walker via submission (guillotine choke) in round one
– Drew Fickett def. Kevin Knabjian via submission (guillotine choke) in round one
– Willie Parks def. Jamaine Facey via unanimous decision
Rodney Wallace def. Derrick Mehmen via unanimous decision
Darrill Schoonover def. Paul Buentello via unanimous decision
– Chris Gruetzemacher def. Frank Gomez via TKO in round one
– Esteves Jones def. Deutsch Pu’u via TKO in round one
– Lionel Lanham def. Brad Peterson via TKO in round one

* I was going to make a lame joke about “round” being a shape, but Heden’s body-type is more “amorphous” than anything else.

If you’re looking for an MMA fix to get you through until UFC 145, Worldwide Mixed Martial Arts is holding its inaugural show on Saturday in El Paso, Texas.

The promotion put together the pretty slick looking promo above for its McCorkle vs. Heden: Fighting For A Better World event that will see a portion of the proceeds from the show donated to the Wounded Warriors project.

In the main and co-main event of the evening, former UFC heavyweight Sean McCorkle will take on a somewhat unknown fighter by the name of Brian Heden and onetime UFC welterweight contender Karo Parisyan will face King of the Cage, EliteXC and MFC vet Thomas “Wildman” Denny.
