The Transformers star appeared on the UFC 264 broadcast alongside her boyfriend, Machine Gun Kelly, and a whole host of A-listers including Justin Bieber, Kourtney Kardashian, and Dave Chapelle.
Donald Trump was perhaps the most high-profile name of all in attendance at UFC 264. Fox spoke about sitting alongside the former president during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
“I was in a row with [Justin] Bieber, and Trump was also in my row,” Fox said. “He had, like, thirty secret service with him. He was a legend. That arena was very supportive of Trump when he came in.”
The experience didn’t come without some level of concern for Fox who claims she was concerned for her safety.
“If someone is a target, then I’m like, I could be harmed because I’m adjacent to where he is,” Fox said. “I was worried about my own safety, that’s all I was caring about.”
Since referring to Trump as a “legend” Fox has received backlash for her perceived support for the 45th American president and the Republican party. This backlash prompted the actress to take to social media to clarify her comments.
“I do not align myself with any political party or individual politicians,” Fox wrote on her Instagram story. “I never said Donald Trump is a legend. I said he was a legend … in that arena (key part of the sentence).”
“The arena was filled with UFC fight fans. Many of them clearly Republican based off the insane crowd reaction he received walking into the T-Mobile venue,” Fox continued. That was an observable fact. Not my opinion.”
“Really loving this uneducated, mid-evil, pitchfork carrying, burn a witch at the stake mentality though,” she wrote sarcastically. “The world needs more of that.” (Transcribed by NME)
Do you think Megan Fox has been unfairly treated after making comments about her UFC 264 experience?

Dana White has admitted a huge error was made and resulted in Donald Trump not being featured on the UFC 264 broadcast.
Ahead of the biggest MMA event of 2021, White had talked up the list of stars expected to watch Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor III live.
The UFC boss named checked several celebrities including Justin Bieber, Dave Chappelle, Kourtney Kardashian, and the former U.S president.
On fight night, many assumed Trump was a no-show because all of the other A-listers got their moment on the big screen, and he did not.
After the event, video footage emerged of Trump and his secret service detail sat directly behind White at UFC 264 to watch the last two fights of the card.
As per usual with a Trump public appearance, the fan reception was ranged from “USA” chants to audible boos for the 45th president of the United States.
The UFC boss explained that it was the result of a “massive f*ck up” by his production team.
“What happened was, we was getting ready to show him (Donald Trump) right between the co-main and main event. I think you remember we showed OBJ (Odell Beckham Jr.) then it was supposed to go to David Spade, 2 Chainz, and then the president, White said. “We had some kind of glitch in the truck and then the Conor fight ended up ending in the second round, so, we never got a chance. Let me tell you what, massive f*ck up by my production team but, you know, it’s live TV and these things happen.”
Do you agree with Dana White? Was it a “massive f*ck up” to not show Donald Trump on the UFC 264 broadcast?
Whether you support him, hate him, or are indifferent, the crowd at UFC 264 had a little bit of everything when it came to their reaction to former U.S. President Donald Trump entering T-Mobile Arena to watch the fights. Trump became the first U.S. President to attend a UFC event back at UFC 244 when […]

Trump became the first U.S. President to attend a UFC event back at UFC 244 when welterweight stars Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal fought in the main event for the BMF belt. At the Conor McGregor-Dustin Poirier trilogy, Trump and his secret service detail sat directly behind UFC president Dana White to watch the last two fights of the card.
As per usual with a Trump public appearance, the fan reception was ranged from “USA” chants to audible boos for the 45th President of the United States.
Politics aside, it’s certainly a milestone that the UFC is able to garner the attention of politicians and high-level celebrities for their events. It seems like yesterday that former Arizona senator John McCain (R. AZ) referred to mixed martial arts as “human cockfighting”.
Nowadays, as the sport of MMA increases sharply in popularity, so does the notoriety of people in the seats.
Trump and a full-capacity crowd were treated to quite an eventful night at UFC 264. In the main event, Poirier earned a wild doctor’s stoppage victory after McGregor fractured his left ankle towards the end of the opening round. Just hours after the event, McGregor would undergo surgery on a fractured tibia at a nearby hospital.
Trump is apparently a massive fan of combat sports, and more specifically the UFC and White. He has a true fan in the form of UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington, who visited the White House on numerous occasions during Trump’s time in DC.
After losing the 2020 Presidential Election to Joe Biden, Trump is still receiving mixed reviews from the general public. But one thing is for certain, he’ll more than likely continue to be a presence at UFC pay-per-views in the future.
Were you surprised by Donald Trump’s reception at UFC 264?
