Embattled former U.S. President Donald Trump shocked fans and fighters inside the T-Mobile Arena with his surprise appearance at UFC 290 on Saturday night.

Trump emerged from the tunnel alongside Dana White and a bevy of secret service agents and was as social as ever, greeting fans who appeared to be genuinely excited to see him in the public eye once again. Sitting cageside, the 45th President of the United States was spotted speaking with many members of the broadcast team, including Daniel Cormier and Joe Rogan, who were on hand to lend their special brand of expertise at the commentary table.

Trump is a longtime fan of the UFC and has made his presence known at past events. He is also a close friend of Dana White, who spoke on his behalf during the Republican National Convention in 2020.

Perhaps by design, Trump entered the building while Kid Rock’s ‘American Badass’ played over the loudspeakers.

Dricus Du Plessis Greets Donald Trump Moments After Scoring the Biggest Win of His Career

While ’45’ was spotted shaking hands and conversing with multiple admirers throughout the event, the most noteworthy moment came when newly emerged middleweight title contender Dricus Du Plessis hopped the cage wall in order to shake Trump’s hand seconds after scoring a stunning second-round knockout against former world champion Robert Whittaker.

Du Plessis emerged as the next man in line to challenge reigning middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya after finishing ‘The Reaper’ in highlight-reel fashion. ‘Stillknocks’ earned himself a $50,000 performance bonus, a title opportunity, and a handshake from a former President. All in all, it was a very good night for the South African standout, even if his celebration was snuffed out by an enraged Adesanya who made his way into the cage and proceeded to hurl racially charged insults at his next opponent.

Donald Trump also had the opportunity to take in two spectacular UFC title fights in the co-main and main event of the evening. Alexandre Pantoja proved once again that he has Brandon Moreno’s number, capturing the flyweight title in a five-round war that had fans on the edge of their seats.

In the evening’s headliner, Alexander Volkanovski once again showed why he is one of the pound-for-pound best in the world, scoring a TKO against interim champion Yair Rodriguez in the third round.

Former president Donald Trump was spotted losing his UFC 287 main event bet to Kid Rock.

UFC 287 was promoted as a stacked card which delivered on all cylinders, and a star-studded lineup of guests often became the centre of attraction, most notably when the 45th president entered the building.

He was greeted with heavy cheers from a sold-out Miami crowd, and sat next to Dana White throughout the night.

Donald Trump has taken over the media recently following his court case in New York City, although this hasn’t stopped him from enjoying himself in Florida.

White, who’s been a longtime friend of Trump, described him as a passionate UFC fan who regularly calls him to chat about recent fights.

Donald Trump coughs up cash to musician, Kid Rock

This time out at UFC 287, Donald Trump was spotted by a fan in the crowd not only enjoying the spectacle, but wagering on it as well.

It appeared as though Trump was confident with his money on the reigning champion Alex Pereira, but he may have been left stunned along with the entire MMA community after Israel Adesanya reclaimed his throne in brutal fashion.

Following the co-main event, Jorge Masvidal not only stole headlines by likely retiring from the sport, but he also engaged the cheering Miami crowd while he saluted the former president.

Kid Rock may have a unique souvenir to add in his collection after being handed his cash prize from Trump, and he was seen as joyful as ever posing with an interesting combination of personalities next to the cage.

Former United States President Donald Trump is a mixed martial arts fanatic, according to UFC president Dana White.

During the UFC 287 post-fight press conference, White revealed Trump’s familiarity with the UFC product.

“So this guy calls me twice a month and will talk to me for an hour about fights that have happened since we last talked,” White said. “And he knows everybody. He knows what they did and who they fought last. He’s a huge fight fan, loves this stuff.”

When asked who Trump’s favorite fighters were, White revealed that it was Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington, who have both been outspoken about their affiliation with the 45th President of the United States.

Donald Trump and the UFC Have Done Business Together

Trump, who was in attendance this past Saturday at UFC 287, has a longtime connection with the promotion that dates back to UFC 31.

The event was held at the Trump Taj Mahal, now renamed the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in May 2001.

White, who became UFC president the same year, credits Trump for his early involvement with the company.

“Donald Trump has been such a good friend to me since the day I met him. When we bought this company, [it] had such a bad stigma attached to it in sport that we couldn’t even get into venues,” White told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson last September. “Donald Trump saw this thing could possibly be big and he offered us to come, do the event at the Trump Taj Mahal, cut us a very fair deal. We went down there and we did the two events with him. He showed up for the first fight, stayed ‘till the last fight.”

Trump, who was joined by White, Kid Rock and Mike Tyson, watched all the fast-paced action cageside at UFC 287 in Miami, Florida.

Jorge Masvidal defends Donald Trump BS charges indictment UFC

Jorge Masvidal is throwing support to Donald Trump after the former president was indicted on more than 30 counts of business fraud.

Masvidal, a native of Miami, has been an outspoken supporter of Trump and the Republican party. ‘Gamebred’ decided to share his support for the controversial ex-president in a video clip released online. In the clip, which you can see below, Masvidal likened Trump’s indictment to Fidel Castro’s overthrow of the Cuban government in the 1950s and Bill Clinton’s tryst with Monica Lewinsky inside the Oval Office during the 90s.

“I just want to talk about something because my family has lived through it and history has told us that this is a play right out of the communist playbook,” Masvidal began. “What they’re doing to President Trump has never been done before. The BS charges that D.A. in New York is bringing up is complete and utter nonsense. Just not too long ago, Bill Clinton got a BJ in the Oval Office and absolutely nothing happened. It just went under the carpet. Now they’re trying to indict this man for something that he did before he was president that has nothing to do with anything.

‘Hush money’ or whatever they want to call it. If we let them do this to Trump, they’re gonna come for you, me, and anybody that opposes them. This has been done before in history and every time it’s happened, it only gets worse. We can’t let the left take over and win American values. This is nonsense. We all need to stand together instead of fighting each other, letting them divide and conquer us. God bless America. God bless everybody watching. Let’s go President Trump.”

Donald Trump Expected In Court On Tuesday

The former president is expected to be arraigned in Manhattan criminal court on Tuesday following an investigation by the Manhattan district attorney’s office that began while Trump was still in office. He is accused of authorizing his then-personal attorney Michael Cohen to make a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels to prevent her from going public about an affair the two had a decade earlier. The payment was reportedly made in October 2016, just days before the presidential election.

While “hush money” payments are not necessarily illegal, President Trump and his former attorney could be guilty of falsifying business documents in an effort to cover up the payment.
