Hasbulla, who rose to fame ahead of a long-awaited fight with fellow influencer and singer, Adu Rozik, signed an ambassadorial contract with the Dana White-led UFC back in October of last year before the promotion’s UFC 280 pay-per-view event in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

A friend of the likes of current undisputed lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, as well as former division titleholder, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Hasbulla Magomedov also featured in the corner of Makhachev during the Makhackala native’s second round triangle choke submission win over Charles Oliveira in October of last year.

Hasbulla Magomedov once more becomes the topic of numerous headlines

However, the social media standout landed in hot water this week in his native Dagestan, after wedding celebrations resulted in his arrest and detainment alongside numerous friends of his after violating traffic laws in the country.

“Police in Dagestan arrested him and some of his friends for violating traffic laws,” MVD Dagestan reported. “According to Dagestan’s Internal Affairs, Hasbulla and others drove out into the street and were interfering with other drivers. The entourage was arrested and charged with administrative violations. As Hasbulla and his crew claimed, ‘They were celebrating a friend’s wedding.’” (H/T Red Corner MMA)

Hasbulla Magomedov was recently pictured behind the scenes at a Power Slap League event at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada alongside UFC president, Dana White as well as award-winning actor, and UFC shareholder, Mark Walhberg – with the latter inviting Hasbulla to slap him in the face, following numerous instances of the social media star slapping various celebrities.

Earlier this annum to boot, Hasbulla was criticized across social media and accused of animal abuse, after footage emerged of him slapping and punching his pet cat, Bersik, in the head and ordering her to her crate – to which he defended, claiming he had just “scolded her” for “disobeying” him.

Chookagian, the current #3 ranked division contender, has yet to return to the Octagon since she saw a four fight winning run halted by Manon Fiorot at UFC 280 back in October on ‘Fight Island’ in a unanimous decision loss to the French standout.

Once competing for undisputed flyweight gold back in February 2020, Chookagian suffered a third round ground strikes knockout loss to current champion, Valentina Shevchenko.

In a single professional loss since, Chookagian dropped a first round strikes loss to former strawweight champion, Jessica Andrade in a ‘Fight Island’ title eliminator.

Embarking on a run of four consecutive victories since her loss to Brazilian finisher, Andrade, Quakertown veteran, Chookagian managed to defeat the quartet of Cynthia Calvillo, Viviane Araujo, Jennifer Maia, and most recently, landed a split decision win over Amanda Ribas back in May of this year.

Katlyn Chookagian reveals a rather contentious interaction with Hasbulla Magomedov

Sharing her side of a recent interaction with social media star, Hasbulla Magomedov – who was recently added to the EA Sports UFC 4 video game, Chookagian claimed the Russian teenager refused to take a picture with her, given the fact she is female.

“It was all fighters, so he (Hasbulla Magomedov) knows I’m a fighter, and I asked him for a picture,” Katlyn Chookagian said on the Just Bleed podcast. “He literally waved his finger at me and said, ‘Women, no photo.’ I mean, that seems more disrespectful to women than Andrew Tate saying he thinks women should be like protected.”

Rising to prominence over the last two years, Hasbulla has featured prominently at multiple UFC events since, and entered the Octagon following compatriot, Islam Makhachev’s successful title victory against Charles Oliveira at UFC 280 back in October.

Social media sensation and content creator Hasbulla Magomedov has allegedly been in talks with UFC president Dana White for a potential fight in the octagon.

Magomedov has been in alleged talks to fight fellow content creator Abdu Rozik, although nothing has materialized. White said just months ago that he was unsure whether or not a fight involving Magomedov will be feasible for the UFC.

Magomedov has created close relationships with top MMA stars such as Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov. He was also in attendance for UFC 267 to watch Makhachev earn a first-round finish over Dan Hooker.

During a recent interview with the WAFFLIN’ Podcast, Magomedov claimed that White has been in talks with him about doing a fight in the future.

Hasbulla Magomedov Claims Dana White Has Interest

Magomedov is 18 years old and suffers from a condition called Growth Hormone Deficiency, otherwise known as Dwarfism. Despite his size at 3’3″, he has garnered a massive following on social media.

Magomedov also went as far as calling out fellow YouTuber turned combat sports personality Logan Paul during a recent post on his Twitter page. He has a strong friendship with White and could link up with the MMA’s highest platform down the line.

MMA social media sensation Hasbulla Magomedov has been accused of a threatening message to a woman on Instagram and has been blocked.

Magomedov has skyrocketed in popularity over the past year, accumulating a massive following on various social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. He’s also formed relationships with some of the biggest names in the UFC; including UFC president Dana White and former champ Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Magomedov suffers from Dwarfism, a rare growth disorder. This hasn’t stopped him from picking fights online with various bloggers such as Abdu Rozik.

But Magomedov may have crossed the line this time, as he’s been accused of threatening to take an unknown woman’s life after she posted a video of his sister.

“I will not leave this girl alive until she apologizes to the whole of Instagram, because she filmed a video of my sister and posted it for the entire Instagram,” Magomedov is accused of writing. (h/t Lenta)

On a backup Instagram account, Magomedov alleged that he took the action of blocking his main account himself and not at the direction of the platform.

It’s unclear if Instagram will inflict further punishment towards Magomedov for the alleged incident, but it sounds like the Russian star is moving forward with his life and career in the entertainment business.

Heading into his short-notice fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s protege, Islam Makhachev, at UFC 267, Hooker made it clear that he did not like Hasbulla Magomedov. The social media sensation said that he was coming to Abu Dhabi to attend the event, simply to support Makhachev, and this rubbed the New Zealander the wrong way.

So, to add insult to injury after a quick and devastating first-round submission loss, none other than Khabib himself was seen inside the Octagon with Hasbulla atop his shoulders.

UFC 267: Islam Makhachev expects title shot vs. Dustin Poirier

Speaking to The Mac Life, Hooker explained that seeing this after losing made him frustrated, and he even considered chucking Hasbulla off of the former lightweight champion’s shoulders in the event Hasbulla tried his signature sneak-attack punch move.

“That was pretty hard. Like, I’m standing there, ‘cos I know his (Hasbulla) trick where he does the photo and then as soon as he gets the photo, he punches the guy, and then Khabib comes over. You’ve gotta take it, you’ve gotta wear that sh*t; that’s just part of it, that’s part of losing. You’ve gotta stand there in the ring, let the other guy get his roses and you’ve gotta just stand there and take it on the chin,” Hooker said.

“But Hasbulla comes over and I was just like, I shook his hand and I was just like, ‘If this tiny motherf*cker touches me.’ I was like, ‘I’mma ace him right off Khabib’s shoulders, like, I’m not in the mood.’ [LAUGHS] But he didn’t, so that was all good.”

Luckily, it did not come to that, and Dan Hooker did not feel compelled to throw Hasbulla around. Dana White has suggested that the Russian little person may have something going with the UFC soon and is even rumored to have offered big bucks to try to give him a fight in the UFC. So who knows, maybe a fight between these two could go down in the future, mano y mano, without the help of the Dagestan squad.
