Santos misses an overhand to open the round. A left hook and body kick lands for Santos and Hermansson comes in on a takedown attempt against the cage. After they disengage Santos comes out like a wild man and is throwing huge shots, dazing Hermansson a bit after landing a few hard shots. Hermansson seems to have regained himself and is moving around well again.
Santos lands a few nice hooks but Hermansson presses forward now. Santos backs him off with a jumping kick attempt that misses and the round comes to an end with Santos blitzing with seconds left to pick up the last-second finish with a barrage of hard shots. Simply amazing.

Quietly climbing up the middleweight ladder, Jack Hermansson scored his second first-round TKO in a row on Saturday night.
While not the biggest name, the Swede has looked very impressive as of late, finishing both Alex Nicholson and Brad Scott with first-round punches.
Hermansson looked like a potential top ten middleweight on Saturday night and has earned a ranked opponent for his hard work.
A fight with Uriah Hall or Derek Brunson seems to make the most sense.

Jack Hermansson (15-3) laid the hammer down on Alex Nicholson (7-4).
The opening bout on the main card of UFC Fight Night 109 featured a middleweight bout between Hermansson and Nicholson. The two met inside the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden.
The first round began and Hermansson was on his toes bouncing around. He scored a takedown and got to side control. He landed some punches to the delight of the hometown crowd. He got the back of Nicholson and flattened him out. Hermansson dropped some hard shots and elbows. The barrage of strikes was enough to stop the fight. Nicholson was a bit bloodied.
Final Result: Jack Hermansson def. Alex Nicholson via TKO (Strikes) – R1, 2:00
