Jake Paul reacts after Conor McGregor brands him little dweeb start winning fights

Jake Paul’s rivalry with Conor McGregor appears to be alive and well as the brash YouTuber-turned-boxer took shots at the Irishman.

While hosting the BKFC press conference, McGregor was asked about Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry on Saturday, and McGregor says he wants to see Paul in BKFC.

“Come and try your trade here at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship,” McGregor said (via Indy100). “Make a new name for yourself, look at what’s happened to Michael Perry, one of our big stars here. The King of Violence, he titles himself. He’s had such a rise in the sport and now he’s up against a little dweeb of a thing in a fight this weekend and we’re all rooting for him.”

Paul was then asked about McGregor’s comments at his press conference ahead of his boxing match against Mike Perry on Saturday, he clapped back at the Irishman.

“Every single person before you has said the same thing from the MMA community. Every single time they sit across from me in these exact same seats and say ‘I’m going to take it from you, I’m going to show a real fighter, you haven’t done this, this is me, welcome to the sport’, shut the f**k up, literally shut the f**k up,” Jake Paul said.

“Words from MMA fighters are f*****g meaningless, you guys are all p*****s, every single MMA fighter is a f*****g p***y, you can’t box for s**t. When I tried to fight y’all in MMA y’all won’t do it. P*****s, you and McGregor, both b*****s will never fight me, both p*****s,” Paul added.

The two still don’t see eye-to-eye and perhaps that will lead to a future fight between Paul and McGregor.

Jake Paul vows to KO Mike Perry within two rounds

Jake Paul is set to box Mike Perry on Saturday in Tampa.

Paul was supposed to box Mike Tyson, but the former heavyweight champ had to withdraw due to a medical issue and Perry stepped in. Heading into the fight, Paul is a sizeable betting favorite and he’s confident he will KO Perry.

“The skills is what pay the bills. And he has no footwork, no head movement, no defense. He’s a great offensive fighter and bare knuckle, but in terms of boxing, he’s going to get picked apart very quickly, and it’s going to be a short night. Like I said, my predictions are never wrong, so I stand on business every single time I manifested into reality. I Jake Joseph Paul will knock out Mike Perry in less than two rounds. It’s going to happen, put money on it,” Paul said at the press conference.

If Paul gets the KO win, it will help add some anticipation for the Tyson fight which is rebooked for November 15.

Jake Paul and Mike Perry will weigh in today to make their bout official. MMA News has the results here!

Internet sensation and boxing star Jake Paul returns to the ring after an impressive knockout win against Ryan Bourland earlier this year.

He was initially slated to face Mike Tyson in a groundbreaking matchup on Netflix this Saturday. However, the legendary heavyweight boxer had to postpone the fight due to an illness. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship fan favorite Mike Perry will step in on short notice and looks to stun the boxing world with a win over “The Problem Child.”

Before the fights can be made official, all fighters competing on the card must weigh in today.

Since transitioning from MMA to bare-knuckle boxing in 2022, Perry has enjoyed a career renaissance. He is undefeated with five wins, including over Eddie Alvarez, Michael “Venom” Page, and Luke Rockhold. Perry’s last bare-knuckle boxing appearance was a knockout win over Thiago Alves in the first round at BKFC KnuckleMania 4 on April 27. While “Platinum” Perry has found a new sport to thrive in, facing Paul will be a different challenge than he has faced before.

This Saturday’s matchup for Paul will be vital as he hopes to fight Tyson later this year. The highly anticipated bout has been rescheduled for November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The 9-1 boxer will be highly motivated to dispatch Perry to send a message to “Iron Mike.” Paul also has the knockout power and professional boxing experience to give Perry more than he can handle. That said, Perry has shown to be tough to finish and is expected to give his all to defy the odds against him.

Paul vs. Perry will occur at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Fans can watch the main card at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT by subscribing to DAZN and paying $64.99 for the pay-per-view. The prelims will stream for free on the DAZN YouTube Channel at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT.

Days out from their boxing showdown, Jake Paul and Mike Perry appeared in the ring for their open workouts.

Paul, a YouTuber-turned-pugilist, and Perry, a former UFC fighter-turned-BKFC star, are set to do battle as the headline act of a DAZN pay-per-view event at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, this weekend.

“The Problem Child’s” second match this year was originally scheduled to come this Saturday opposite legendary ex-heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. But with the 58-year-old falling ill in the lead-up, their Netflix clash has been postponed to November.

In the meantime, Paul will now face a challenge widely branded more intriguing. While he hasn’t stepped foot in the ring for a professional boxing bout since an unsuccessful 2015 debut, Perry has found his niche in the bare-knuckle boxing world.

Having left the UFC, “Platinum” signed with BKFC and has since defeated notable names like Michael “Venom” Page, Luke Rockhold, and Eddie Alvarez en route to a perfect 5-0 record in the gloveless sport.

He’s now gotten the call to face the 9-1 Paul, marking the latest MMA veteran to share the cage with the 27-year-old Cleveland native.

Saturday’s event, dubbed “Fear No Man,” is set to begin at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT, with the Paul vs. Perry ringwalks expected at around 12 AM ET/9 PM PT.

Ahead of the match, the pair appeared for the open workouts at the Armature Works in Tampa on Wednesday. You can check out a full replay of them below via the DAZN Boxing YouTube channel:

Paddy Pimblett will look to go undefeated in six Octagon appearances when he returns at UFC 304 on July 27.

His fight with King Green is sure to draw lots of attention, like all of Pimblett’s fights have since the former Cage Warriors champion signed to the promotion and debuted back in 2021.

“The Baddy” quickly became a big name on the UFC roster, but he has recently hinted at the idea of taking his huge profile elsewhere in order to cash in on a big payday.

Pimblett revealed that his clash with Green in Manchester will be the last on his UFC contract, suggesting that he could be tempted to step inside a boxing ring if someone was to offer him a lot of money to do so.

Paddy Pimblett Open To Boxing Jake Paul Once His UFC Contract Expires

During a recent interview with BestOnlinePokerSites, Pimblett once again referenced how he could be tempted to step through the ropes if he gets the right offer.

The Scouse fighter was giving his opinion on Jake Paul’s return to the ring this Saturday night against Mike Perry. He gave props to “The Problem Child” before stating that he also wouldn’t mind stepping in there with him, referencing his mindset when it comes to the fight game.

“Give Jake Paul his dues for that one. I didn’t think he’d fight someone like Mike Perry. He’s fought a load of f****** clowns. Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley when they were both over 40, Anderson’s a Thai boxer and Woodley’s a wrestler – but Mike Perry is a boxer, he’s a striker, he’s got hands. So I’ll be honest, Jake Paul has gained a little bit of respect from me.

“If Jake Paul sends a contract over for a couple of million dollars and wants to fight me, let’s do it. We’re prize fighters at the end of the day. That’s what people forget. We do this to get paid. It’s all about money.”

In the same interview, Pimblett also gave his reaction to Conor McGregor downplaying the card for UFC 304, which will see the Octagon return to the North of England.

The lightweight contender responded and again referenced wanting to compete in a boxing match if he receives an offer after this next contest.

“That’s a mad one, and I really like Conor – but if anyone ever put his name on a contract and sent it to me, I’d be like, cha-ching! You never know. We’ll see what happens. I’ll be negotiating after this fight. One of these f*****g stupid influencers might get on and want to have me a boxing match for a couple of million. And I’ll be in!”
