If you didn’t already know Dana White’s opinion on the recently postponed Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match, we’ve got you covered.
It’s no secret that White and ‘The Problem Child’ do not get along. For years, Paul has poked and prodded at the UFC CEO, calling him out for lowballing his fighters and keeping them locked down under restrictive contracts. During a recent appearance on the FLAGRANT podcast with Andrew Schulz, White decided to tear into the YouTuber star and his upcoming clash with the former world heavyweight champion.
“Pretty much everybody in the room and the other room wants to see Jake Paul get knocked out,” White said. “When this fight happens, Tyson will be 58 f*cking years old. Under no circumstances should an almost 60-year-old man be fighting a 27-year-old guy, even if it’s Mike Tyson. It’s f*cking ridiculous.
“When [Paul] actually fought somebody who is a boxer, who had the same type of record he has, and who’s his age and size, he f*cking lost”
Dana White is dealing with his own fight crisis
Originally, Paul’s fight with Mike Tyson was scheduled to go down on July 20. Unfortunately, the bout has since been postponed after ‘Kid Dynamite’ suffered an ulcer flare-up during a cross-country flight out of Miami last month.
Both Paul and Tyson remain adamant that their clash — scheduled to air live on Netflix at no additional charge for active subscribers around the world — will proceed with a new date being announced in the near future.
Meanwhile, Dana White is dealing with his own drama after a press conference in Dublin to kick off promotional festivities for Conor McGregor’s long-awaited return was canceled hours before the scheduled start time. The news immediately generated rumors suggesting that McGregor’s quote-unquote “greatest comeback in combat sports history” was no longer part of UFC 303 on June 29.
No official announcement has been made, but there have been conflicting reports, some claiming that the UFC is confident the fight will happen with others stating that the promotion is putting out “feelers” to see who might be interested in filling in for the Irish megastar.
Only time will tell on these two massive fights, but as it stands, things are looking much more optimistic on Jake Paul’s side.

Jake Paul claims to have some insider information on all the drama surrounding Conor McGregor and his recently canceled press conference in Dublin.
On June 29, the Irish megastar is scheduled to step back inside the Octagon for the first time in nearly three years for a long-awaited clash with former Bellator MMA champion Michael Chandler. However, those plans now appear to be up in the air after McGregor reportedly backed out of a press event in his home country that would have seen him and his opponent go face-to-face for the first time since their stint on The Ultimate Fighter last year.
Taking to social media, Jake Paul claimed to know “a lot” about the ongoing situation with Conor McGregor but was unwilling to spill the tea.
“Heard they were celebrating the rescheduling of Paul [vs] Tyson,” Paul wrote on X. “People keep asking me about Conor McGregor [at] UFC 303. Obviously, I know a lot about it, but I’m not going to talk about it publicly. For the first time probably ever in my life, I have no comment on something.
“That’s their world, and you know, they get pissed at me every time I talk about that stuff. Good for them and they’ll figure it out.”
Jake Paul is no stranger to postponements
Jake Paul is certainly no stranger to seeing the postponement of a big-money fight. Recently, it was announced that his highly anticipated scrap with legendary pugilist ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson was put on the back burner after the former heavyweight world champion suffered an ulcer flare-up during a flight.
A new date is expected to be announced within the next few weeks.

Jake Paul’s massive clash with former world heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson, slated to take place on July 20. in Arlington, Texas, has officially been postponed to a later date, after a recent health scare for the former ahead of the matchup, set to be broadcast on Netflix.

Jake Paul’s bout with Mike Tyson will be rescheduled later this year
And in an official statement tonight from Most Valuable Promotions, the bout between Paul and Tyson has been postponed beyond July 20. – upon medical advice with the latter experiencing symptoms following an ulcer flare up.

Darren Till will be making his boxing debut on July 20 against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson undercard on July 20.
Till asked for his release from the UFC to heal up his injuries and will now be turning to boxing. Although Till has said he will fight in the UFC again, he is booked to face Chavez Jr. in an intriguing matchup.
Although Till doesn’t have any prior boxing experience, he does believe he will be able to upset Chavez Jr., and he expects to do so by KO.
“Man, they’ve just got to make a statement,” Paul told The Schmo. “A KO, win the crowd over and do so good that I see their skill and I am impressed by them and want to make a big fight with them happen.”
If Darren Till does KO Chavez Jr. it would be an upset as the oddsmakers have the Mexican as a -400 favorite while Till is a +275 underdog.
Darren Till plans to call out Jake Paul
If Darren Till does KO Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. it would set him up to get massive boxing fights in the future.
One fight that Till has his eye on is Jake Paul as he knows it would be a fight that the fans would want to see, especially if he KO’s Chavez Jr. just moments before Paul faces Tyson.
“When I do win, when I knock Chavez Jr. out, I’m going to get on the mic or whatever, watch Jake’s fight, and I’ll be right there in the mix,” Till said. “I’m going to hold him to that fight now. F*ck him fighting Tommy (Fury), f*ck him fighting anyone else, all this McGregor – I’m the same size as him, so let’s see. Most probably (jumping into the ring) after the winner with a pint, just jumping in. I probably will do that.”
Darren Till has not fought since December of 2022 when he suffered a submission loss to Dricus Du Plessis.
