If you thought Joshua Fabia would fade away quietly now that his client Diego Sanchez has been released by the UFC, you couldn’t have been more wrong. When Diego Sanchez was released from the UFC last week, the man placed at the center of the separation was Sanchez’s coach/manager, Joshua Fabia. Dana White classified Fabia […]

A new video has surfaced showing Diego Sanchez and Joshua Fabia’s bizarre training methods.
The footage went viral on social media last night, with the original video being quickly taken down by it’s original uploader.
In the video Sanchez is suspended upside down and is taking clean shots to the face from Fabia.
‘The Nightmare’ later put his guard up as Fabia throws kicks at him.

Conor McGregor was one of the many people to voice his concerns about Sanchez’s unusual training techniques.
‘Notorious’ wrote several messages to the UFC Hall of Famer that have since been deleted.
“This is just madness! I’ll break this things nose in half,” McGregor said on social media. “This not the move Diego, my bro. I been with ye the whole way, and still am. But this is not on. It was unfair treatment by commentary and fans on your last performance imo, for sure. But not on this guy, 0-0. Ditch.”
“I’m actually on the side of body hardening work also,” McGregor added. “Work the body etc. But doing it hanging upside down, and getting the dome of the head struck repeatedly, while covering vision, is preposterous! Grab this guy by the ears and head butt him at his front door first thing.” (Transcribed by BJPENN.com)
Joshua Fabia requested all of his fighters’ medical records prompting the UFC to ask Sanchez to confirm he was healthy to compete on May 8. On the advice of his lawyer, Sanchez refused to do so. Soon after he was cut by the UFC and Alex Morono was announced as Cerrone’s new UFC Vegas 26 opponent.
Do you agree with Conor McGregor? Should Diego Sanchez avoid these type of training techniques?

Diego Sanchez and Joshua Fabia have slammed Donald Cerrone for suggesting they are homosexual lovers.
Unless you’ve been living on the moon you will have heard Sanchez’s 16-year UFC run came to an end last week.
At the UFC Vegas 26 pre-fight presser, Cerrone insisted he was not mad at Sanchez for getting cut by the UFC. The fan favourite believes his former teammate is being led astray by Fabia. Cowboy referred to Fabia as Sanchez’s “new lover”, something which hasn’t sat well with the Ultimate Fighter Season One winner or his coach.
“I’ve now, beyond just trying to bring some awareness to the health of athletes and the governing bodies of which should be protecting athletes, not only from the sport, but from themselves. I guess now we’ve got to bring attention to endorsed, sponsored bigotry,” Fabia told John Gibson.
“I don’t know what kind of human beings thinks it’s cute and funny to say those types of things on press conferences, when people are being exploited for violence and he’s one of them,” Fabia added. “This is just sad. A big issue with me is what is anyone’s sexuality have anything to do with them as a person? Let alone as an athlete in this space. It doesn’t matter. What is this even trying to do here? It is 2021. I don’t know what little corner of the woods you live in but you’re a fake Cowboy. You sacrifice sacred animals. I mean, we live in New Mexico, man. This dude’s over here making jerky out of White Buffalo. I mean, this is as much blasphemy as you can get.
Sanchez then clarified that he and Fabia are not homosexual lovers as Cerrone had suggested ahead of UFC Vegas 26.
“Cowboy on his fight week, he’s going in with Alex Morono,” Sanchez said. “You’ve got a young killer to think about and he’s gonna be throwing low blows, under the belt saying that I got tapped in a sexual way by Joshua. First of all, let me clarify this me and Joshua are not sexual. We are not homosexuals, we are brothers.
‘The Nightmare’ thinks Cerrone should face a penalty for his bigoted comments.
“I have friends,” Sanchez added. “I have homosexual, gay friends. Men and women who are very, very offended by these comments and feel that it’s too much and there should be punishment for it.”
Do you agree with Diego Sanchez? Should Donald Cerrone be punished for suggesting ‘The Nightmare’ is in a homosexual relationship with Joshua Fabia?

Donald Cerrone was supposed to fight Diego Sanchez at UFC Vegas 26 this weekend.
Unfortunately, the bout won’t take place as ‘The Nightmare’ was recently cut by the promotion.
Sanchez was let go ahead of his retirement fight after his manager and coach, Joshua Fabia, requested all of his medical records, sparking fears within the promotion that the Ultimate Fighter Season One winner was suffering from some type of long-term medical issue.
The UFC requested Sanchez confirm he is healthy to compete against Cerrone on May 8.
On the advice of his lawyer, Sanchez refused to do so and was therefore cut.
Luckily for ‘Cowboy’, Alex Morono has stepped up on late notice to fill the gap left by the departing Hall of Famer
Speaking to media ahead of UFC Vegas 26, Cerrone was sympathetic towards Sanchez who he believes is being misled.
“It’s hard to be mad at (Sanchez) now because I don’t think it’s him guiding the horse,” Cerrone said. “I think he’s just running blind, and this other jamoke, his new lover, is showing him down the path. I don’t know. Can’t really be mad at the kid, or the old man, I should say. But really it’s his cult leader and lover that took over his life, and I feel bad for you, Diego.”
Cerrone went on to reveal one of his old training partners beat up Sanchez’s coach at a bar.
“I never have met him,” Cerrone said. “I never ever have. I know the guy that whipped his ass at the bar. I used to train with the guy, and that kid was talking about his death punch and how he was going to kill the dude, and my buddy whipped his little motherfucking ass all over the bar. So the death punch did not work. It was unsuccessful. This guy no longer fights, no longer trains. He just said, ‘I’ll beat your ass.’ Then he did. The MMA community in New Mexico had a chuckle over that.” (Transcribed by The Mac Life)
Are you surprised to hear Donald Cerrone confirm Joshua Fabia’s death punch does not work?

The pair of former teammates were set to collide in the UFC Vegas 26 headliner this Saturday only for Sanchez to get released by the promotion following the recent saga involving him, his head coach Joshua Fabia and the UFC.
It also changed Cerrone’s plans in the process as he was opponentless for a few days until it was announced that Alex Morono would step in to fight him in a short-notice three-round fight.
While there was animosity between Cerrone and Sanchez already, the former can’t be too mad at the latter given the influence of the controversial and outspoken Fabia.
“It’s hard to be mad at (Sanchez) now because I don’t think it’s him guiding the horse,” Cerrone told reporters Wednesday (via MMA Junkie). “I think he’s just running blind, and this other jamoke, his new lover, is showing him down the path. I don’t know.
“Can’t really be mad at the kid, or the old man, I should say. But really it’s his cult leader and lover that took over his life, and I feel bad for you, Diego.”
Cerrone has been in the game for a long time.
But even he hasn’t seen what happened to Sanchez as far as getting cut just days before a fight due to something they or their coach said.
And while Cerrone was looking forward to fighting Sanchez, he didn’t want to dwell too much on the latter’s situation.
“I’ve never seen someone get thrown off because they’re crazy,” Cerrone said. “It’s a first for me. But short notice is short notice. I made a career out of (it). Usually I’m the guy filling in, not the other way around, so pretty cool Alex threw his hat in and they picked him.
“You’ve seen people get chopped, so apparently he pissed the wrong people off. It just so happened right before the fight. But I don’t really have anything to say. I was looking forward to fighting (Sanchez).”
