UFC welterweight contender, Kevin Holland has claimed Prime hydration poster boys, professional boxers and social media influencers, Logan Paul, and KSI of lowballing fighters under the promotion’s banner, in a bid to gain promotion for their hydration drink brand.

Holland, a promotional staple following his move from Dana White’s Contender Series, most recently headlined UFC Fight Night Orlando against two-time welterweight title challenger, Stephen Thompson, suffering a fourth round doctor’s stoppage after facturing his hand in the earlier rounds.

The Riverside native, who will attempt to snap a two-fight losing skid against the above-mentioned, Thompson, and the surging unbeaten contender, Khamzat Chimaev, has been booked to return to the Octagon at UFC 287 on April 8. at the Miami Dade Arena in Miami, Florida against Argentine veteran, Santiago Ponzinibbio.

Recently, the UFC confirmed how they had inked a deal with the aforenoted, Paul, and KSI, – which would see Prime hydration become an official partner and sponsor of the organization, with the blue and red corners for fighters inside the Octagon also renamed to reflect the recently penned partnership.

Kevin Holland reveals he was contacted to help promote PRIME hydration

Sharing his thoughts on the Paul brothers – both the aforenoted, Logan, and undefeated professional boxer, Jake Paul, as well as UK musician and YouTuber, KSI – Holland claimed the Prime poster boys attempted to compensate him for publicity with free merchandise.

“Prime, yeah, I don’t know if it’s run by both of the [Paul] brothers? Both of the sisters?” Kevin Holland said during an appearance on Real Eyes Recognize. “And KSI. So, the Paul sisters and KSI, Mrs. KSI. Well look, these guys say that they are going for fighter advocates right? They’re all about fighters getting paid more.”

“Well, these f*ckers are trying to send me merchandise and other fighters merchandise to rep (represent) them, but they don’t want to pay any f*cking money.”

“I think thye offered Oren (Holland’s manager) like $600 for a main page post,” Kevin Holland revealed. “I don’t know if this was the company or not, it’s either they offered $600 or no money at all for a main page post, which is pretty f*cking low. They offered $500 to somebody with 200,000 followers.” (Transcribed by MMA Mania

UFC Fans Embarrassed For Tyron Woodley Following Recent KSI Callout

It looks like former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is aiming to stay in the boxing realm moving forward in his career, despite saying he’d like to compete in kickboxing recently, as he has once again called for a fight opposing YouTube-boxing sensation KSI.

Woodley recently posted the following statement on his Twitter account:

“If KSI would ever be a man and a man of his word. He in his lane. I said my piece and agreed to the terms. What God has for me is for me! He asked me to fight. Not chasing a grown man down. That’s borderline bullying.”

KSI however seems to have little to no interest in the match up, and had also stated prior that he’d like for Woodley to win a fight in the boxing ring prior to booking a fight with him:

Hmmm, should I: A – Fight a tired Tyron Woodley that hasn’t won a single boxing fight and got knocked out by Jake Paul by standing still? (Or) B – Fight a pro boxer with a better boxing record than Tommy Fury?”

Some fans have recently spoke out on the callout:

You’re begging a YouTuber, it’s embarrassing.

This is sad that your legacy has come to begging YouTubers for boxing matches.

Stop embarrassing yourself.

This is sad to see, once on of the best fighters on the planet now begs YouTubers for fights.

You broke again?

You are chasing for a YouTuber to fight. Common T-Wood you are better than this.

Tyron Woodley has only boxed twice, both professional fights with Jake Paul, and he went 0-2 in those fights. Then you look at what he did prior to boxing; he became a top two (at the time) welterweight of all-time, but left on a four-fight skid, making his second defeat to Paul his sixth-straight loss after opening up his combat sports career with a record of 19-3-1.

KSI on the other hand, who’s a decade younger than Woodley mind you, has done very well for himself as of late. Following a short 1-0-1 amateur boxing run, he’s since gone 3-0 as a professional, making him 4-0-1 in his last (only) five fights.

You can see why he wouldn’t want a fight with someone on a losing streak, but Woodley would be the biggest name he’d fought to this point. And, he was just about to fight Dillon Danis last month until Danis pulled out.

Do you think KSI should fight Tyron Woodley next?

PRIME is now the official global sports drink of the UFC. The sports hydration drink brand founded by KSI and Logan Paul has signed a multi-year marketing partnership with the UFC that includes branding, marketing, and social media content creation.

The UFC announced the news through a press release.

We’re excited to name PRIME the Official Sports Drink of UFC and an official partner of the UFC Performance Institute,” UFC President Dana White said.  “Logan and KSI have worked hard to build PRIME into the best-tasting, hottest sports drink on the market.  With their massive social media following and UFC’s global reach, we’re going to get the PRIME brand in front of hundreds of millions of fans all over the world.  Whether you’re a professional athlete or if you just love working out, PRIME should be your first choice for a go-to sports drink.”

PRIME Replaces BodyArmour as the Exclusive Sports Drink of the UFC

KSI and Paul co-founded and launched PRIME in early 2022. Only a year later, the drink brand has now partnered with the biggest MMA company in the world.

I’ve been a fan of UFC for as long as I can remember, so having the opportunity to partner with them and amplify the PRIME brand is a check off the bucket list,” Logan Paul said. “Together, we are a global powerhouse and this collaboration is sure to extend far beyond the Octagon with an opportunity to give back in the process with the UFC Foundation.

This partnership enables us to tap into UFC’s fan base and reach a massive global audience across multiple platforms, giving us the ability to flex our marketing muscles and prove we are a dominating force in the industry,” KSI said.

PRIME will also become the first presenting partner for the UFC Foundation. They will contribute to the non-profit organization by creating a youth program aimed to help people in underserved communities. They will make their UFC debut the week of UFC 284 on Feb.11.

Dillon Danis reacts to KSI’s recent knockout win over FaZe temper this past weekend as part of the most recent influencer boxing event.

The bizarre world of influencer/celebrity boxing rages on as Misfits boxing put on another sold-out show at OVO Wembley Arena, London. While many traditional combat sports fans dislike and grow old of it, there is still a large audience, mostly consisting of young people that enjoys it.

While Saturday nights bill was headlined by multi-media superstar, KSI, the event also featured boxing matches with DJ’s, adult stars, YouTuber’s and even some professional fighters.

KSI would savagely knockout late replacement, FaZe Temper, who grew to fame playing Call of duty as part of FaZe clan, in the first round. Temper was of course late replacement for combat sports enigma, Dillon Danis, who pulled out of the fight allegedly citing a lack of preparation and coaching.

Danis would react to the KO, of course using the opportunity to further call out and goad KSI

That was an exhibition bout with someone you used to live with in LA, it is even illegal to bet on non-sanctioned bout that you just did in the USA. When you are ready for a professional fight with a real commission let me know @ksi.”, Danis said in a now-deleted tweet.

Danis of course gained notoriety as part of Conor McGregor’s camp ad his involvement in the Khabib Nurmagomedov incident. The 29-year-old is still under contract with Bellator after competing twice for the promotion in 2018 and 2019.

The American has managed to keep his name relevant with his social media antics, calling out fighters and YouTubers alike. Talk of a return to combat has come and gone for some time but it’s unclear if we will ever see Danis compete again.
