The official poster for UFC Vegas 23 featuring Darren Till and Marvin Vettori has been released.

The pair will compete in a middleweight headliner in the upcoming UFC Fight Night event taking place April 10 at the Apex facility in Las Vegas. It will also notably be airing on ABC.

The winner of the fight could very well get the next middleweight title shot, especially if Robert Whittaker were to lose against Kelvin Gastelum in their middleweight headliner which takes place a week later. For now, though, Till and Vettori must compete against each other in what promises to be an explosive affair.

And the promotion released the official poster for the event on Wednesday. You can view it below:

Till seems to be a fan of the poster as he revealed he couldn’t wait to perform for everyone.

“Got to be one of the sickest posters @ufc have produced… Can’t wait to perform now.”

Till will be looking to return to the win column against Vettori.

The Liverpool native suffered a unanimous decision defeat to Whittaker last summer in what was his first defeat since moving up to middleweight in 2019. His middleweight debut saw him successfully outpoint Gastelum over three rounds.

Vettori, meanwhile, is on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off a unanimous decision verdict over Jack Hermansson in December.

The upcoming Darren Till vs. Marvin Vettori card will be getting special treatment.

The pair of middleweights will headline the UFC’s upcoming Fight Night event taking place April 10. And it will now air on the ABC Network in addition to ESPN+ and ESPN Deportes.

“The Darren Till x Marvin Vettori card on April 10 will in fact air on ABC, it was just announced. Main card on ABC/E+/Deportes beginning at 3 pm ET, prelims on ESPN/E+/Deportes beginning at 12 pm et. Yusuff-Allen, Ansaroff-Dern will also be on the main card.”

Why is this big news?

Mainly because it’s now being broadcast on network television which means a lot more eyes will be on the Fight Night event. The first card to feature on ABC, of course, was the Max Holloway vs. Calvin Kattar card in January in what was the second-most viewed Fight Night event since 2019.

If Till vs. Vettori even delivers half of how that fight turned out, we are in for an explosive night. Till will be looking to return to the win column following his unanimous decision defeat to Robert Whittaker. Vettori, on the other hand, is looking to make it five wins in a row after outpointing Jack Hermansson in his last fight.

The co-main event, meanwhile, will feature an exciting featherweight contest between prospects Arnol Allen and Sodiq Yusuff.

Darren Till believes him and Israel Adesanya are destined to fight.

Adesanya is coming off a unanimous decision defeat to Jan Blachowicz in their light heavyweight title fight at UFC 259 this past weekend. Adesanya has since stated that he will be returning to the middleweight division to defend his title.

His next opponent is likely to be the winner of the Robert Whittaker vs. Paulo Costa fight taking place next month. However, Till is hoping he will eventually end up facing Adesanya in a fight that both fighters believe will happen sooner rather than later.

First, however, he has to get past Marvin Vettori who he faces on April 10.

“I think me and Marvin are knocking on the door,” Till told ESPN (via Middle Easy). “It’s like a little mini middleweight competition right now. The same as lightweight. It excites me. To be at the top and to be getting these chances. I’ve got a steamroller in front of me, and I don’t wanna look too far ahead. I know Izzy’s calling me out practically. I’ve called him out for a long time. We were destined to fight even when I was a welterweight. He called me out then, when I was at the top of welterweight.

“Listen, just let him relax for now. Let him enjoy his money and the fruits of his labour. And give him some time to watch these middleweights now. Me and all the other guys go at it. We’ll see how it plays out.”

As for the fight itself? Till believes he has what it takes to beat whom many consider to be the best striker in the sport.

“This is the thing. I think it’s one of those fights with me and Izzy. It’s magician vs magician,” Till explained. “Who’s got the kryptonite to beat the other guy’s striking. I’ve said it for the longest time, I’m one of the best strikers in the UFC. And I think Izzy is definitely there. He could be ahead. He probably is, the way he’s been fighting, he’s ahead of me right now.

“I just feel like I’ve got them specifics to beat him. I’m sure he’s up for the challenge, and thinks he’s got the specifics to beat me. I think it’s gonna be a good fight when it happens.”

That said, the Liverpool native is focused on his current task at hand.

“I’m confident I’m gonna win on April 10th, against Marvin,” he added. “I know it’s a big task ahead of me. And then we’ll see.”
