Apparently the meeting between Nate Diaz and the UFC brass didn’t go quite as smoothly as their recent meeting with “The Notorious” Conor McGregor.

As noted, UFC management, including Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta, met with McGregor earlier this week to attempt to settle their dispute with the reigning UFC 145-pound champion.

Shortly after their meeting, UFC contender Nate Diaz reportedly requested that they meet with him in his hometown of Stockton, California.

White and Fertitta would oblige, and according to TMZ, met with Diaz only for White to lose his cool at some point during the meeting. According to various reports, White stormed out of a restaurant where the meeting was held.

It looks like this Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing circus isn’t going to be ending anytime soon.

On Tuesday morning, reigning UFC Featherweight Champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor took to social media to show off a new pair of shoes he purchased.

As seen in the tweet embedded below, McGregor posted a photo of some new boxing shoes he recently bought.

As noted, both Mayweather and McGregor have been speaking out in public lately about potentially fighting each other in a boxing match.

Mayweather has gone as far as to say he would only come out of retirement to fight McGregor, and noted that there is a “master plan” in the works to make the fight happen.

For his part, outside of his recent boxing shoes photo post, McGregor has kept his side of the talk relatively quiet, as he simply wrote, “I run boxing,” in response to Mayweather’s recent interviews about the potential fight.

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan might be retired from the squared circle, but that doesn’t stop him from rolling on the mats.

Bryan, who had an emotional real-life retirement on live WWE television earlier this year, took to social media on Tuesday to share a photo of himself at the NW HIT Center with Robert Owens.

Daniel Bryan is a noted Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and has worked several times throughout the years at various gyms, including former UFC and WEC Champion Benson Henderson.

By now everyone has heard the rumors regarding a potential boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, and “The Notorious” one seems to be well-aware of that fact.

McGregor took to social media this weekend to fuel the rumors, as he posted an unofficial fight poster for the rumored McGregor-Mayweather bout on Instagram.

It’s worth noting that despite online rumors, which stem from a report by The Sun out of the U.K., UFC President Dana White has stated that there is no truth to the McGregor-Mayweather boxing match rumors. MMAFighting.com reporter Ariel Helwani has also noted that there is nothing to the rumors.

Regardless, that doesn’t seem to be stopping McGregor, as he continues to use the rumors to his advantage. Below is the aforementioned fight poster that McGregor put up on Instagram on Saturday.

Famous martial artist and actor Jean Claude Van Damme took to his social media accounts this week to share some photos he took while working out with the Diaz Brothers recently.

Seen below are a number of photos of JCVD and Nick and Nate Diaz working out and hanging out. As seen in the photos, Nate Diaz is looking like a much bigger man than Conor McGregor.

Diaz handed McGregor his first UFC loss back at UFC 194, choking out the reigning UFC Featherweight Champion in a 170-pound fight.

Diaz and McGregor were scheduled to fight in a 170-pound rematch in the main event of UFC 200 before McGregor was pulled from the show for refusing to take part in his promotional commitments around the event. Diaz subsequently refused to fight anyone but McGregor in July.

It looks like it will be a while before we see Junior Dos Santos back inside the Octagon.

The former UFC Heavyweight Champion noted on social media that following his successful victory over Ben Rothwell at UFC Fight Night 86, he underwent shoulder surgery and will be on the sidelines for 12 weeks recovering as a result.

Dos Santos posted the following on official Instagram page this week:

“Despite being Brazilian I’ve never played soccer very well, I also wasn’t good enough on swimming or running or any other sports like those. But luckily I found myself in the fight world and I can say, I’m good it.

But fighting demands a lot and sometimes even in victory we can get hurt. I could say that now would be a very difficult time for me, but I actually feel blessed. I hurt my shoulder a bit but I won a great fight, and I’m having a excellent care so that very, very soon I will be 100% again.

I had a small shoulder surgery this morning and as my good friend Doctor Howard Gelb who took great care of me said, everything went perfectly and guess what! I’m already at home relaxing.

I just would like to let you guys know through me.”
