“Ngannou, can’t beat me pal and I’m useless, but I’ll tell you what I have, I’ve got a world class heart,” Fury continued. “I’m not saying I can beat this great man, I’m not saying I can beat ya Mike, but I’ll fight ya and do the best I can pal because that’s what me mother bred, a fighting man and you’ve got to respect that.”

“Tyson looks great in the build-up he looks fast, light, and elusive,” McGregor said. “It could be a seriously stellar performance from Tyson Fury here. What’s the variable in this? The Mike Tyson variable in Francis Ngannou’s corner is very interesting. Francis has power, Francis has big power with a striker’s mentality if it gets a bit tougher for him in the later rounds, the striker mentality will stand to him than if it was a Mixed Martial Artist mentality.”

Tyson Fury advises against Francis Ngannou from using any sort of MMA tactics in their upcoming boxing match.

The 10 round boxing exhibition between reigning WBC champion, Fury, and former UFC  heavyweight ruler, Ngannou. The pair will clash in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

While Ngannou is undoubtedly a great fighter, when it comes to boxing many see this contest as a mismatch. Fury himself is supremely confident of victory, and has made a guarantee to knock out Ngannou come fight night.

There has been rumblings that the super-fight between Fury and Usyk could finally be next, so Fury may not want to risk that by extending the fight. Don’t be surprised if ‘The Gypsy King’ attempts to get Ngannou out of there from the opening bell.

Tyson Fury warns Francis Ngannou against using MMA

While Ngannou might not have the boxing skills of Fury, he has some other weapons that could cause his opponent some serious damage if he chose.

However, Fury has warned against using these as Ngannou could face disqualification while talking to MMA Junkie.

“This is a boxing fight and it’s actually a proper boxing, sanctioned fight, If he starts doing anything stupid, he’ll get chucked out and disqualified. Game over. This is not a wrestling match, an MMA fight or a street fight. This is Queensbury rules. The greatest sport in history, “ said Fury. (H/T Mirror)

“This is big time boxing, so welcome to big time boxing. Am I a heavy favourite? Fury asked “Two giant men swinging at each other and whoever lands first will go down? It’s very difficult to hit me even if you’ve got a handful of rice. He’s either gonna sink or swim and either way, I’m knocking him out.”

Francis Ngannou

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou isn’t buying Tyson Fury’s claim that he stands at a staggering 6’9″ tall.

On Saturday, October 28, Ngannou will make his long-awaited return to competition, but it won’t be inside a cage. This time, ‘The Predator’ will strap on the eight-ounce gloves for a clash with ‘The Gypsy King’ in the squared circle. After months of training videos, epic promos, and plenty of trash-talk, fight week is finally upon us.

Ahead of their highly anticipated showdown in the Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh, Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury sat down for a face-to-face interview with TNT Sports’ Carl Frampton. During the interaction, Frampton was admittedly surprised that the height difference between the two world-class fighters appeared to be much less than expected. It was then that Ngannou called Fury’s advertised height into question.

“They say he’s 6’9? But this doesn’t look like five inches difference to me,” Ngannou said. “I’m 6’4, and I would say you are about 6’5.”

Nevertheless, Tyson Fury will go into the bout with an advantage in both height and experience in the boxing ring.

Tyson Fury Confident He’ll Finish Francis Ngannou In Six

Given the massive gap in experience between the two, pundits are giving Francis Ngannou, at best, a puncher’s chance against Fury, but many expect ‘The Gypsy King’ to handle business without breaking much of a sweat when the two men meet in the Middle East. Sharing his own prediction for Saturday’s scrap, Fury is confident that ‘The Predator’ won’t even make it past the sixth stanza in their 10-round bout.

“I’m going to knock him out inside six rounds,” Fury announced during his face-to-face with Ngannou.

Shall I tell you how I’m going to do it? Got on the front foot, high arms, siccing him with a punishing jab, 19, 20 stone in the face — boom, boom, boom — bust him up, swell his eyes out, and then feint, slip, bang. KO. On the front foot, not running away. On the front foot, hand [guarding my] eye, let him hit the shoulder, slip, slip, bang, slip, slip, bang — down in a heap.

“Listen, no one can take my power. Nobody. These heavyweights don’t have a chance. You better believe it,” Fury promised. “I’m going to come out, nice, stiff, snappy jab — bang. Doubling up, maybe even tripling it — bang. Bang, bang, bang. Jab, slip, slip, slip, body shot, uppercut, jab, jab, feint — bang, right hand. Game over” (h/t MMA Fighting).

Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou goes down this Saturday, October 28, with the main card set to kick off at 2 p.m. ET with main event ring walks expected to begin at 5:40 p.m. ET. Fans in the United States can catch the event live on ESPN+ pay-per-view. TNT Sports Box Office will broadcast the fights for those in the UK.

Eddie Hearn claims Francis Ngannou has no chance of winning a round against Tyson Fury UFC Boxing

Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn gives Francis Ngannou little chance to even hurt Tyson Fury in their upcoming bout next weekend.

In just over a wee, Fury and Ngannou are set to do battle in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in what will be a ten round boxing exhibition. Ngannou is set to earn a a sizeable paycheque and it will be a great achievement following his departure from the UFC, however most people are giving him no chance.

Fury is the reigning WBC champion, the Englishman’s record stands at 33-0-1 and is unique talent with his mixture of size, speed and movement.

Eddie Hearn doubts Francis Ngannou

Talking to Boxing Social, Eddie Hearn discussed the upcoming matchup. While Ngannou is certainly a talented MMA fighter, the Matchroom Boxing promoter doesn’t think that this will matter and believes Francis Ngannou would even be able to compete past the halfway point.

“Whatever Tyson wants to do,” Hearn began. “If it’s fought at any kind of pace, I don’t feel like Francis Ngannou can physically do more than four, five rounds. I don’t mean that disrespectfully. They’re not used to that kind of fighting. I know MMA is still high intensity, but trust me, you’ll see. (H/T Boxing Social)

Fury may play with him and just hold him up. If Fury wants to, he’ll stop him in the first round, no problem. If not, he’ll school him, get him to gas out and stop him on his feet.”

Fury’s chin is also one of note, taking everything that the hard hitting Deontay Wilder had to throw at him. Hearn says that Ngannou, who is known for his power, might not even be able to hurt Fury

“He can’t win a round. He can’t hurt him. He could actually put his chin out and let Ngannou hit him clean and it wouldn’t bother him, honestly. They’re not strikers like boxers.”

Do you agree with Eddie Hearn?

John Fury plans to confront ‘Traitor’ mike tyson in saudi arabia: ‘Nobody is bullying me’

John Fury

John Fury, the father of reigning WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, plans to call boxing legend and Francis Ngannou coach Mike Tyson a traitor to his face when the two meet in Saudi Arabia later this month.

On October 28, Ngannou, a former UFC heavyweight titleholder, will make his professional boxing debut as he is set to square off with ‘The Gypsy King’ in Riyadh. In the months leading up to their highly anticipated crossover clash, ‘The Predator’ has been getting a helping hand in the gym from none other than ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

Naming his son after the fabled knockout artist, John Fury feels admittedly slighted by the former champ, suggesting that by helping Ngannou, Mike Tyson is a traitor to his sport and he plans to tell him as such when the two men inevitably come face-to-face in the Middle East.

Me? Mike Tyson, I’m going to the top of the tree and he’s a traitor, and I’m going to tell him so in Saudi next week. Next week, he’ll be told,” Fury said in an interview with Mirror Fighting.

John Fury was recently in the corner of his other son, Tommy Fury, who headlined the latest Misfits Boxing event in Manchester against social media sensation KSI. Despite a lackluster performance, the younger Fury emerged victorious, escaping with a majority decision victory.

John Fury fears no man

In the days leading up to Tommy Fury’s bout, John Fury made headlines by picking fights with both KSI and Logan Paul’s father during a post-fight press event. He has every intention of bringing that same energy to Saudi Arabia where he plans to confront Mike Tyson.

“You watch, there will be no backward steps here from this kid,” John Fury added. “Nobody is bullying me and I’m not bullying them. I will stand, look at any man in the eye and say ‘Listen, let’s get it on, if you want to fight me I’m feared of no man.’

“The only thing I’m feared of in my life is God almighty. If you’ve got two arms, two legs, and a head, I’m not frightened of you. Never, I’ve faced men with ammunition today on my own never mind fists and feet. Fighting, I love it. If I get knocked out, I’ll come round with the blessings of God, brush myself down, and jump back on the horse. Then look for another fight down the road that I can win.”

Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou goes down on October 28 on ESPN+ pay-per-view in the United States. Ordering the event at home will set you back a relatively steep $79.99.
