No. 9-ranked middleweight Gegard “The Dreamcatcher” Mousasi got back to his winning ways yesterday (February 27, 2016), scoring a dominant decision victory over Thales Leites in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 84 from London, England.

Now back on track, Mousasi is undoubtedly eyeing some bigger fights in the foreseeable future.

Speaking on the matter with MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani, “The Dreamcatcher” tossed out a few names, but one that specifically garnered attention.

Mousasi indicated that he would like a rematch with former light heavyweight champion Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida. Although he dropped a decision to “The Dragon” back in 2014, Mousasi claims that Machida cheated by greasing up and using steroids:

“I would like to fight Michael Bisping, Vitor Belfort … Machida, when he’s not on steroids and he’s not greased up,” Mousasi said.“No, because it’s true. The guy was f—ing greased up, and he looked like a 15-year-old boy when I fought him. Obviously he was in Brazil. He was so f–king slippery.”

Some bold accusations to say the least, “The Dreamcatcher” admitted that he’s not alone with these remarks, once again naming Machida as a cheater:

“People now are surely going to say that I’m a bad loser, but the guy didn’t look normal for a f–king 38-year-old, and greased up all the way. He was greased up. Once he sweat, it was greasy. Even Luke Rockhold said that he was greased up when they fought.”

“He’s a cheater. What can I say? … F— him.”

Do you agree with Mousasi here, and who would you like to see him square off with next?

Former long-time UFC middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva returned to action yesterday (February 27, 2016), taking on Michael Bisping in the main event of UFC Fight Night 84 from the O2 Arena in London, England.

While the fight was extremely entertaining to say the least, it also featured its fair share of controversy.

Perhaps the most controversial moment came at the end of the third round when Silva dropped Bisping with a flying knee as the bell rang. Celebrating as if he had won the fight, “The Spider” was tremendously confused when referee Herb Dean ordered the fight to go on.

UFC President Dana White could only describe it as “madness”:

“Crazy, I mean absolute madness,” White said to Dan Hardy and Jon Anik standing cageside. “The flying knee. Listen, walkoff knockouts are awesome, make sure the fight is over.”

White felt as if Bisping, who had dropped his mouthpiece, had taken his mind off of the action, a clear mistake:

“Mike Bisping was way too concerned about his mouthpiece and started trying to stop the action. Anderson Silva pours it on, he hits him with this knee and boom.”

“If he (Silva) would have jumped on top of him he could have finished the fight. He did not, he tried to walk away,” added White.

While the UFC boss thought “The Spider” should’ve finished the fight, he did, in the end, score it for the Brazilian despite Bisping being awarded the unanimous decision victory:

“I have the same score (as the judges) but the other way,” he said, meaning he saw it 48-47 for Silva.

As far as Bisping goes, “The Count” has now won three straight, putting him dangerously close to the title shot he’s always gunned for but never received. White closed with praising the outspoken Brit, noting that Bisping has never backed down from a fight:

“Bisping has never won a world title but he’s been around here for a very long time and everybody gets excited when Bisping fights because Bisping comes to fight. Bisping never backs down from a fight. He’s in your face from the minute the fight is made until the last bell rings and it’s one of the reasons so many people like to watch his fights and so many people respect him.”

A hard-fought decision victory isn’t the only thing Michael Bisping left the O2 Arena in London, England with on Saturday night. The popular British fighter also left with a badly beaten up face following his UFC Fight Night 84 war with MMA legend Anderson Silva, something the UFC 185-pound contender blames on veteran referee Herb Dean.

Michael “The Count” Bisping spoke with Ariel Helwani for MMAFighting.com after winning a disputed judges decision over the former longtime UFC Middleweight Champion on Saturday and revealed that he blames Herb Dean for a lot of the facial damage he suffered during the bout.

“I was talking to Herb Deab, saying, ‘Herb, my mouth piece,” exclaimed Bisping when explaining to Helwani what happened during a controversial spot in the middle of the fight. “You know, the guy …I don’t want to lose my teeth. Contrary to popular belief the British all don’t have bad teeth, and mine are okay.”

Bisping, who wasn’t fully “with it” as the situation unfolded inside the Octagon half-way through the fight, “thinks” the veteran referee is to blame for a lot of the physical damage he went on to suffer moments after the mouth piece controversy.

“So, you know, I don’t know. Herb Dean really needs to uhh …I blame Herb Dean for all of this …I think.”

Anderson Silva Calls Decision Loss To Michael Bisping “Total Corruption”

Anderson Silva

While Anderson Silva may have handled his first decision loss in the UFC like a professional inside the Octagon on Saturday afternoon at the O2 Arena in London, England, “The Spider” changed his tune when talking in his native language with reporters after the event.

Following his controversial decision loss to Michael Bisping in Bisping’s hometown of London at UFC Fight Night 84 this weekend, Silva referred to the defeat as “total corruption.”

Silva stated the following:

“Here’s the deal, you can’t win one way, they try to take it away the other way. That’s it. You saw how that went, right? So, there’s nothing left to say. I fought for you, and that’s it. Thank you for the support. My family, I’m coming back home, I’m fine. Mission accomplished, mission given, but sometimes it’s like in Brazil, total corruption.”
