It will not be a welcome debut to the Octagon for former Bellator title contender Marcin Held, as he meets Diego Sanchez in Mexico at UFC Fight Night 98.

Held (22-4) recently posted on social media that he had signed his UFC contract after competing for Bellator. He earned a shot at then-Bellator champion Will Brooks last year, falling via decision before rebounding with a victory over Dave Jansen.

Sanchez (26-9) has continually found a way to survive in the UFC, bouncing around from featherweight to lightweight. He was bested by Joe Lauzon at UFC 200 in July, falling to 2-4 over his last six fights.

UFC Fight Night 98 takes place November 5 from Mexico City and airs on FOX Sports 1. In the main event, Rafael dos Anjos fights for the first time since losing the UFC lightweight title against top contender Tony Ferguson.
