With one thinking how important foot-work is when is comes to professional fighting, it is always good to see two of the best fighters on the planet working together to perfect it.

Some fighters just do not have the timing and some do not have the rhythm. Fighters work diligently on foot-work, focusing on their striking and all-around movement.

Sounds great in theory, but when Urijah Faber and Jon Jones got together, they decided to work on a different kind of foot-work and focused on either helping each other with their dance moves, or trying to one-up each other.

Anyways, it’s good to see some people having fun while having no shame in how they look to the majority of people that view this.

In one corner you have “The California Kid” Urijah Faber, who is probably the best Featherweight in mixed martial arts history.

In the other corner you have Jon “Bones” Jones, the up-and-comer who climbed quickly through the ranks of the Light Heavyweight division to capture the championship and is being compared to the best the sport has ever seen.

So forget pound for pound rankings and debating who is the best ever. The dream match is here and now. Two of the best in the UFC and maybe of all-time.

So here is your chance to be the judge. Who wins in this duel between UFC greats?

2011 has not been a banner year for UFC so far. The company has had a number of fights on the schedule that have been delayed or canceled due to injuries. But the news hasn’t been all bad as one of those injuries opened the door for Jon Jones to become a superstar far quicker than anyone figured, and the rest of the year looks quite promising.

There are 10 major events left on the schedule, including seven pay-per-view shows. There are a lot of great fights that have been signed or are in the process of getting signed, so I figured that it would be time to take a look at the 10 best fights currently on the schedule.

There were a lot of great options to choose from, so narrowing this list down to 10 was quite a task in and of itself. Having to rank them was an even more difficult chore because you could make a case for each one of these fights as the very best.

So without further ado, I present the 10 best fights on the UFC schedule for the remainder of 2011.

UFC 132 Video: Arianny Celeste in Bud Light Commercial

Earlier this year, the UFC announced that they had renewed their sponsorship deal with Bud Light. The promotion revealed that Bud Light would increase their pay-per-view sponsorships from two events per year to four. Bud Light also agreed to back one special promotion event per year.

The special promotion event for this year will be “The Battle on the Bayou,” which is scheduled to take place on September 17 in New Orleans, LA. Bud Light has already rolled out a commercial for that event featuring UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and UFC president Dana White.

The “special promotion” part of the New Orleans fight card is that Bud Light is giving away trips for two to New Orleans on their facebook page.

It appears that the next event that Bud Light will sponsor will be UFC 132. They have recently released a commercial for the event featuring UFC octagon girl Arianny Celeste.

UFC 132 will take place on July 2 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The main event on the card will feature the UFC’s first bantamweight title fight as champion Dominick Cruz defends his title against the only man to defeat him, Urijah Faber.

Also appearing on the UFC 132 fight card will be Wanderlei Silva who will make his long-awaited return to the cage. His opponent will be Chris Leben.

Tito Ortiz will fight for his UFC career on the UFC 132 fight card, as Dana White has said that this is Ortiz’s last chance with the promotion. Ortiz has not won a fight since 2006 and will be the underdog on July 2 when he faces Ryan Bader.

UFC 132 Fight Card: Full Preview and Breakdown of the Stacked Card

Bleacher Report’s Andrew Mahlmann:

We have been spoiled with three UFC events in June but on the Fourth of July weekend, the UFC is pulling out all the stops and giving us the first truly stacked card of the summer.

Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz will defend his UFC belt for the first time when he takes on the only man to ever defeat him, MMA superstar Urijah Faber.

That fight is worth a PPV by itself but the whole card is stacked with superstars and especially compelling matchups.

I am not just talking about the main card either. Every fight is awesome, all the way down to the first preliminary bout.

If you will not be able to see many fireworks on the Fourth of July, do not worry—UFC 132 on July 2nd is going to have all the fireworks you could possibly handle.

Jon Jones: 10 Things You Need to Know…and the Resulting Questions

Not even superheroes stand a chance.

Jonny “Bones” Jones’ rapid rise to UFC greatness and superstardom has even surpassed the oft-utilised adjective “meteoric.”

He made his full professional MMA debut in April 2008 and just shy of three years later, he annihilated, and to a certain extent humiliated, former Pride legend Shogun Rua to reign atop the two-buck five division.

During that three-year period he effectively remained undefeated in his MMA career, with the exception of his disqualification loss to Matt Hamill, universally-recognised as a comfortable victory for the New York native.

Despite his wrestling credentials, he actively trained in MMA for a mere three months before his first outing in the cage—which renders his accomplishments thus far startling, and does not bode well for his prospective adversaries (bearing in mind that he remains very much a work in progress).

Jones fondly recalls that his introduction to the sport, over which he now presides, was simply viewing Anderson Silva YouTube footage and endeavouring to emulate the movements and techniques.

Three-and-a-half-years later the two shared a stage in Toronto, along with the five other UFC champions. It’s a phenomenal odyssey.

Is there anyone who can keep up with the Joneses? Or rephrased, do you think there is anybody at LHW that can realistically challenge JBJ and pose a threat to his ascendancy to the pinnacle of the p4p list?
