Saturday night, Tony Ferguson knocked out Ramsey Nijem to win Season 13 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Ferguson came out and started off very quickly, and ended Nijem’s night at 3:54 of the first round.
In the fight just prior to that one, Clay “The Carpenter” Guida (29-11) took on the final WEC Lightweight Champion, Anthony “Showtime” Pettis (13-2).
Guida came out, pushed the pace, and showed great submission defense after taking Pettis down, and Guida went on to win a unanimous decision victory.
After the fight, Guida pleaded his case for a title shot, but unfortunately, it doesn’t look as if he’ll get it just yet.
However, his performance may have been enough for him to crack into the top 25 pound for pound fighters in MMA.

UFC 130 is coming up this Saturday, and although it doesn’t have a marquee main event, this is still a card that should not be overlooked.
All 10 fights will be broadcast, and five of them will be free. The first three fights on the card will be featured on Facebook, the next two on Spike TV and the final five will be on the PPV.
UFC 130 did lose its original main event, which took away a good deal of luster from what was looking to be a very strong card.
In light of that, Rampage Jackson vs. Matt Hamill was moved up to the main event, and Thiago Alves vs. Rick Story was moved to the main card.
So although many people are overlooking this card, every main card fight has the chance to be a highlight reel knockout, submission or just a damn good fight.
And you may be looking to make some money on that.
If so, then here are the odds and predictions for the main card of UFC 130.

UFC 132 is set to take place on July 2, and this is shaping up to be one of the better cards in recent memory.
It is so good, that four of the cards on the preliminary card could very easily be main card fights.
The main event of the evening pits bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz in the first defense of his UFC title against the only man who holds a victory over him, former WEC Featherweight Champion, Urijah Faber.
The co-main event of the evening is a fight that has been in the making for nearly a year, as a legend of the sport, Wanderlei Silva, takes on hard hitting and iron-chinned Chris Leben.
In addition, Tito Ortiz fights for his job against an Ultimate Fighter winner, Ryan Bader, Carlos Condit takes on Dong Hyun Kim in what could very well become a No. 1 contender match, and Dennis Siver, fresh off an upset over George Sotiropoulos, takes on “Handsome” Matt Wiman.
So here is the breakdown and predictions for the main card.

Franca is accused of sexually abusing a female minor at a jiu-jitsu academy where Franca once taught. Franca then turned himself into the authorities on Monday.
At Franca’s arraignment on Tuesday, he plead not guilty to seven counts of first degree sexual abuse and two counts of second degree unlawful sexual penetration.
Franca’s bail is currently set at $250,000.
According to Chief Deputy District Attorney Greg Horner, of the Clackamas County District attorney’s office, each of the charges against Franca carries a mandatory minimum sentence of six-and-a-quarter years. He also said Franca has been “cooperative.”
Franca has a release hearing scheduled on Friday, and it is expected that he will ask for a reduction of bail.
July 12 is the current date for Franca’s trial, although Franca’s lawyer expressed doubt, and said “It’s unlikely that a case of this significance would go to trial this quickly,”.
Franca’s next fight was supposed to be on June 10 against Drew Fickett for the Maximum Fighting Championship lightweight belt, but in light of these allegations, the fight was scrapped and Franca was released.

According to an unconfirmed report on sportsnet.ca, Brendan Schaub and Antonio “Minotauro” Nogueira have verbally agreed to a fight at UFC 134.
Brendan Schaub (8-1) is currently on a four-fight winning streak. In his last fight, he knocked out one of the best heavyweight strikers of all time, Mirko Cro Cop.
Prior to that, he won a unanimous decision over one-time title challenger, Gabriel Gonzaga.
Minotauro Nogueira (32-6-1 [1 NC]) hasn’t been in the Octagon since suffering his first knockout loss at the hands of current heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez, back in February of 2010.
Nogueira is a legend who has been around this sport for more than a decade. Nogueira has had wars with some of the best in MMA, such as Fedor Emelianenko, Randy Couture, Fabricio Werdum and many, many more.
Schaub had been lobbying hard for this fight, and he wanted the chance to add another legend’s name to his resume. He asked to go into Brazil and fight a fan favorite in Nogueira.
We can only hope that he gets what he wants, because this fight would be incredible.

Originally the main event was to be Brock Lesnar vs. Junior dos Santos for the No. 1 contendership to the heavyweight title.
Unfortunately, a flare up of diverticulitis has forced Lesnar to pull out of the scheduled bout.
Luckily for the UFC, Shane Carwin was set to fight on that card already, and he agreed to move up into the main event and take on Junior dos Santos in a No. 1 contender bout.
So now the main event features two outstanding strikers, in a fight that is sure to end in a knockout.
But who’s going to get the knockout? And what about the rest of the fights?
Read on to find out my early predictions for every fight on the card.
