UFC 131 Results: Jon Olav Einemo vs. Dave Herman

He takes his nickname from a well-known comedian, but Dave “Pee-Wee” Herman showed himself to be no one to laugh at as he scored a TKO victory over Jon-Olav Einemo at UFC 131.
The decorated Norwegian grappler showed his strength in the first round, taking Herman down and showing strong work on the ground, and appeared to have Pee Wee on the run in the second. However, Herman was able to catch Einemo coming in with a knee, and followed with a series of punches that felled the mammoth Norwegian. Einemo was able to get back to his feet, but Herman was on a roll, and he dropped Einemo again, and pounced on top and pounded out the victory.
For a fighter who was added to the card after Brock Lesnar was forced out with diverticulitis, it was all he could ask for in a UFC debut.
