The No. 1 contender to the UFC middleweight title, Chael Sonnen, did not take kindly to 185-pound UFC champion Anderson Silva saying his adversary needs to train, not talk on the most recent episode of UFC Tonight.

Sonnen responded on his Twitter last night, stating that:

When I want your advice I’ll beat it out of you, Stupid. Now go back to singing to hamburgers and telling Segal he’s legit.

The former Division I All-American wrestler is referring to a Burger King commercial Silva did back in October, where “The Spider” shows off his vocal skills.

Additionally, action movie star Steven Seagal has been affiliated with Black House MMA ever since he said he taught Silva the front kick that knocked out Vitor Belfort at UFC 126.

Uncle Chael has embraced a war of words with the champion since the months leading up to their UFC 117 title fight, where Sonnen dominated Silva for four-and-a-half rounds before being submitted with a triangle choke/armbar.

After narrowly defeating Michael Bisping at UFC on FOX 2, Sonnen will get his rematch with Silva in June at a venue in Brazil yet to be named.
