With the time until UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro now measured in hours instead of days, the time for talk is almost over.

You know what that means. The time for gambling has almost begun.

In that spirit, here are the final betting odds and predictions for every bout on the UFC 134 fight card.

Because gambling is illegal in most places, this is for entertainment purposes only. Though if you wanted to place a friendly wager or two using, say, Goldfish crackers, I suppose I wouldn’t judge you too harshly.

UFC 134 Live Streaming: Anderson Silva Ready to Exact Revenge on Yushin Okami

Anderson Silva has taken the UFC by storm since joining in 2006, though he has one big challenge left to conquer before he reaches the summit of mixed martial arts—defeating Yushin Okami at UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.

“The Spider” will return to his native Brazil on August 27th to exact revenge on Okami, the last fighter to hand Silva a loss, though not without substantial controversy.

The two foes last fought Rumble on the Rock 8 in Honolulu, Hawaii back in January of 2006. Silva was the favorite to win the tournament but was sent off when the Brazilian sent an illegal kick at Okami’s head while the Japanese challenger was down in the guard position. Okami was given the opportunity to get himself together and continue the fight but chose instead to accept a victory by disqualification.

After the fight, Silva claimed that the rules had not been properly explained to him and has since been anything but shy about his feelings toward Okami, telling Sherdog.com:

“I feel it was a cheap, cowardly way of winning. People that were there saw that he was in the condition to come back and keep fighting, and he didn’t…It wasn’t really a fight.”

Silva hasn’t lost in the intervening five-and-a-half years, including an all-time best 13-0 record in UFC matches. Along the way, Silva picked up the UFC Middleweight Championship and has managed to defend it nine times, thereby establishing himself as arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

Okami is no slouch either, having won 10 of his 12 UFC matches since moving up to the league in August of 2006.

Thus, a win over Okami would not only give Silva yet another fine feather to add to his well-decorated fighting cap in defending his title belt, but also the satisfaction of avenging his most recent defeat.

Not to mention prove that Silva knows the rules this time around.

UFC 134: With a Win over Nogueira in Rio, Is Brendan Schaub the Legend-Killer?

With victories over seasoned veterans Mirko Cro Cop and Gabriel Gonzaga, would defeating the former Pride heavyweight champion, Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira, provide Brendan “The Hybrid” Schaub the moniker as the “legend-killer?”

Competing on foreign soil in Nogueira’s home country, Schaub rides his 8-1 overall MMA record with seven knockout defeats as a wave of momentum into Saturday night’s matchup with Minotauro.

As accomplished as a heavyweight competitor can be, Nogueira has engaged in monumental battles with Fedor Emelianenko, Mirko Cro Cop, Randy Couture, Fabricio Werdum and Dan Henderson.

Competing against these prolific names has rightfully associated Nogueira as a legend within the heavyweight division.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani from MMAFighting.com and aired on AOL Video, Schaub discusses his Saturday matchup with the legend at the HSBC Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Embracing the role as the “legend-killer,” Schaub was quoted as saying, “I love it [the role]. Gonzaga, Mirko Cro Cop and Big Nog have been huge heroes of mine and for me, it takes a special kind of fighter to close that off and really get after these guys.

“After my fight with Mirko Cro Cop, I asked to compete in Brazil. This has been a dream of mine,” Schaub told Helwani.

Speaking about the experience and the culture in Brazil, “The Hybrid” is very thankful for his opportunity to compete in Rio.

“I can’t thank the UFC and Dana White enough for this experience. People in the States take it for granted and you come out here and see the way these kids are living and it’s a rude awakening,” Schaub said regarding the poverty in Rio de Janeiro.

Nogueira has not competed inside the cage in more than two years. Recovering from surgeries and working himself back into shape has sidelined the veteran for some time.

Speaking on Minotauro’s absence, Schaub told Helwani, “It’s Big Nog in Brazil, I heard he’s been training his tail off and looking good.”

Confident in his ability to defeat the legend, Schaub said, “When I beat Big Nog, it’s something that Fedor, Frank Mir, Cain Velasquez, it’s something no one has ever done [defeating Nogueira on his home soil]. It’s going to be a huge feather in my cap.”

Believing in his victory, Schaub thinks a win over Nogueira should catapult him into title contention. “That would be five straight [victories]. A good argument for a title talk,” Schaub confidently said.

Predicting a victory, Schaub told Helwani, “I guarantee we get a bonus that night, and I guarantee that my hand is raised at the end of the night.”

Stay tuned to UFC 134 live on pay-per-view to see if Schaub is truly the “legend-killer” and defeats Nogueira in his home country.

UPDATE: Anderson Silva will not headline the UFC on Fox card.

Lately, rumors have been running rampant that if Anderson Silva is to defeat Yushin Okami on Saturday, he will be booked for the main event of the UFC’s debut on Fox, where he will battle Dan Henderson for the UFC Middleweight Championship.

These rumors were fueled further when UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta confirmed that the UFC would be interested in having Silva headline the card on Fox.

Henderson is the Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, and in a recent conversation with mmafighting.com, Henderson’s manager, Aaron Crecy, said that the only fight Dan would be interested in at middleweight is a rematch with Anderson Silva, so it looks as though these rumors will continue to grow.

He also said though that there is nothing official, and that “Nothing is signed.”

He went on to say that preliminary talks had just begun a few days ago, and that Henderson hadn’t thought much about where he would fight next.

On the subject of Henderson returning to the UFC, Crecy said “He’s open to going back…”

Crecy also said that “At this point of his career, he just wants to have good, big fights.”

There’s only a few fights out there that would be bigger than a champion vs. champion rematch.

The first fight between Silva and Henderson took place at UFC 82, when Silva submitted Henderson in the second round to unify the UFC and Pride middleweight titles.

Stay tuned for more updates on this potential headliner.

Kenny Florian is set to meet Jose Aldo at UFC 136 in Houston Texas, with the UFC’s Featherweight Championship on the line.

This will be Florian’s third crack at UFC gold.

He fought Sean Sherk at UFC 64 and BJ Penn at UFC 101, both fights for the UFC Lightweight Championship. Florian lost both fights, earning himself a reputation for choking in important fights.

At UFC 136, Florian has the chance to shed his reputation as a choke artist and finally achieve his ultimate goal of capturing a UFC championship.

Aldo will be looking to defend his featherweight championship for the fourth consecutive time, while adding another big name to his already impressive resume.

This promises to be a very interesting fight, as both fighters are very talented and well rounded.

Which fighter’s skills will carry them to victory?

Let’s take a look…
