Sean Strickland Ali Abdelaziz Maycee Barber

UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland is never far away from controversy. In a recent interview with James Lynch, Strickland opened up about why he and Ali Abdelaziz might be in for a “fistfight” and why UFC flyweight Maycee Barber might despise him now.

Last seen at UFC Vegas 76, Sean Strickland impressed with his second-round finish of Abus Magomedov. Strickland took advantage of an evidently exhausted Magomedov to apply the pressure in the second round tremendously. Eventually, Strickland would catch Magomedov with huge shots that led to a flurry of brutal ground and pound to provoke the referee’s stoppage for the TKO victory.

Abus Magomedov is one of the fighters Ali Abdelaziz manages. In Lynch’s interview with Strickland, the UFC star would speak about how Abdelaziz arranged the fight between him and Magomedov.

Sean Strickland opens up about the beef with Ali Abdelaziz and speaks on why Maycee Barber doesn’t like him

“(Ali) watched me spar and then next thing you know it’s like ‘Hey, three weeks later we got this guy we want you to fight,’” Strickland began, speaking to James Lynch. “There’s a lot of f***ed up s*** you guys, I’m not gonna go into it. (The fight) felt like a little personal… There’s a chance that me and Ali are gonna be fist fighting…I’m really hoping that I see Ali, it’s like ‘Oh Sean you’re a white trash motherf***er I like you.’ Or, it could be like ‘Hey f*** you, Sean.’ Either way man, I hope it’s cool. But if not, I’m always down for a good time.”

During the interview, Maycee Barber would walk by, and this prompted Sean Strickland to mention the drama surrounding them and why she may “not like him” now.

“She went on (Twitter) and she was talking about fans telling her she should go kill herself,” Strickland said. “And I was like ‘Welcome to life. What do you think, they’re just gonna say they wanna have sex with you and you’re pretty?’ That is the other side of the coin there Miss Maycee. As you’re loved, you’re also hated. So I think she got a little bit mad.”

Although this is pretty typical behavior for Sean Strickland at this point, it could be said that it’s entertaining that the UFC middleweight seems to always land himself in hot water when it concerns beef or drama. Undoubtedly, this will not be the last time we hear about Sean Strickland having beef with somebody or saying something “frowned upon” by modern society.

What do you think is the next fight for Sean Strickland?

Dominance MMA founder Ali Abdelaziz engaged in a heated back-and-forth war of words with Dillon Danis on social media.

Abdelaziz and Danis have never been friendly with one another, much of that stemming from their rivalry-by association as Danis was Conor McGregor’s jiu-jitsu coach while Abdelaziz managed the Irishman’s greatest rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Recently, Danis took a shot at another of Abdelaziz’s clients, Islam Makhachev which sparked a fiery exchange between the two on Twitter.

It all started when Makhachev innocently asked why he was missing his blue checkmark, a symbol long associated with verified accounts on the social media platform. Seeing an opportunity to strike, Danis delivered a snarky response to the reigning UFC lightweight world champion. “You need to get your blue belt before you get the blue tick you bum,” Danis quipped.

Hours later, Ali Abdelaziz snapped back. “Stop talking trash to the champion your bum,” he responded.

Dillon Danis Makes Things Personal With Ali Abdelaziz

Things escalated from there as Danis returned fire asking Ali Abdelaziz, “How’s Noah?” For those that do not know, Noah is the son of Ali Abdelaziz. Many fight fans were unaware that Abdelaziz had a kid until Conor McGregor mentioned him during a UFC 229 pre-fight press event.

Noah is actually a big guy now he can slap you too, you are an embarrassment,” Abdelaziz tweeted in response.

It was then that Danis took things a step further, alleging that Abdelaziz had abandoned his son at a young age after becoming an informant. “How would you know? You abandoned him when you became an informant for being a terrorist,” Danis replied.

Dillon Danis has made a career out of running his mouth on social media in recent years. The 2-0 fighter showed a lot of promise in his first two appearances with Bellator MMA, but it has been four years since he last competed. During that time, Danis has attempted to stay relevant in the world of combat sports by calling out practically every fighter under the sun and issuing outlandish challenges that he knows will never come to fruition.

Dominance MMA founder and prominent mixed martial arts manager and representative, Ali Abdelaziz has voiced his support to the outspoken social media influencer and commenters, Andrew Tate – amid the American-born outcast’s continued period behind bars as part of an investigation into alleged human trafficking and his part in organized crime.

Abdelaziz, a prominent mixed martial arts manager and agent, is most notably the manager of former undisputed UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov since the Dagestan native’s move to the Dana White-led organization.

A former undisputed lightweight champion under the banner of the promotion, Nurmagomedov bowed out of the sport and active competition back in 2020, boasting an unbeaten 29-0 professional record following a successful lightweight title defense and unification win over Justin Gaethje – whom the above-mentioned, Ali Abdelaziz also represents.

Voicing his support for Tate – a former professional kickboxing world champion turned social media influencer and podcast host, Ali Abdelaziz tweeted, “Be strong, my brother” in a bid to offer support to the 36-year-old as part of his continued period in a Romanian jail.

Tate, and his elder brother, Tristan Tate were initially detained in Romania back in December of last year, with DIICOT confirming they had identified six victims who were alleged to have been subject to “acts of physical violence and mental coercion” at the hands of Tate and other accomplices, as part of an organized crime group. Over recent months and prior to his arrest, footage has emerged of Tate alongside numerous UFC champions and contenders, including undisputed welterweight champion, Leon Edwards, undisputed bantamweight titleholder, Aljamain Sterling, as well as the current #2 ranked bantamweight challenger, Sean O’Malley

Tate has also been linked with a return to combat sports prior to his December arrest, with a professional boxing match against Logan Paul – the elder sibling of Jake Paul floated most notably

Former undisputed UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, Conor McGregor unleashed an expletive-filled tirade on his official Twitter account overnight – taking aim at five prominent mixed martial arts head coaches, and claiming himself and his head coach, John Kavanagh of Straight Blast Gym, had created a system to defeat the likes of past-foe, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor, a former undisputed lightweight and featherweight champion, is expected to return to welterweight waters in his UFC comeback later this year.

Finishing filming on The Ultimate Fighter 31 earlier this month, McGregor featured as an opposing head coach on the reality television show against the #5 ranked challenger, Michael Chandler – with the duo expected to fight later this year under the UFC banner.

Conor McGregor provides update on training camp location

Providing an update on his return to camp, McGregor claimed he and his team would be setting up shop in Big Bear, California.

Sharing a slew of tweets last night from his official Twitter account, McGregor took aim at the likes of Trevor Wittman, Javier Mendez, and Firas Zahabi, as well as once more pointing to the above-mentioned, Nurmagomedov’s retirement during a back-and-forth with the Russian’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz.

“Firaz Zihabi (sic) is a little douchebag,” Conor McGregor tweeted. “Trevor Wittman is a pad man. Javier Mendez is a fat a*se lick kick boxer. Mike Brown is a smelly pr*ck. Greg Jackson got caught up, the system of coach [John] Kavanagh is now shining thru (sic). In years to come, the world will know what we have been at. It’s beginning to bare fruit. If you want to train, train at SBG Ireland with Kav, and me. We are a fight factory akin to butter churning.”

“Hey, sh*t stain on the game,” Conor McGregor replied to Ali Abdelaziz. “I’m talking as of now it is beginning to bare fruit. We bat their system of fighting on TUF. It’s locked down. It’s no wonder sh*t pants {Khabib Nurmagomedov} scurried. There’s no competing now. The head of the style is too fat a b*tch and afraid to compete again. So we win. You can’t compete with us. Watching and witness, you rat b*stard.”

Sidelined since July 2021, McGregor most recently headlined UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier, fracturing his left tibia and fibula in a first round doctor’s stoppage TKO defeat.

Tony Ferguson alleges that Khabib Nurmagomedov and his former manager Ali Abdelaziz owe him a large amount of money from a business wrongdoing.

Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov may have never gotten the chance to settle their rivalry inside the octagon, but the animosity between the two remains strong. In their primes, a fight between the two would have been an enthralling display of mixed martial arts competition, but sadly this matchup never came to fruition.

Tony Ferguson Says Khabib and Ali Owes Him More than Half a Million Dollars

Via Twitter, Ferguson wrote a colorfully worded post claiming Khabib and Ali’s wrongdoings on a business deal that went south. While these allegations are serious, the specific details of the situation have not been disclosed.

What Could Have Been Between Khabib and Tony

During their primes, Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov were on a tear, just dominating every opponent in front of them. The two were set numerous times to settle the score in the UFC Lightweight division, but it turns out the matchup was never meant to be.

Three separate fight cancellations ended the possibility of the two matching up, and thus each fighter went on different journeys. Since Tony Ferguson’s 2019 victory over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, he has lost five fights in a row, and it’s now clear that Tony’s title aspirations are a thing of the past. Khabib Nurmagomedov ended his MMA career on a high note, retaining his UFC Lightweight title over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 in 2020.

While Ferguson and Nurmagomedov never had the chance to settle their rivalry inside the cage, this new claim by Tony Ferguson re-ignites a heated rivalry from their past.
