Slated to make his own boxing return next month in Saudi Arabia, undisputed WBC heavyweight kingpin, Tyson Fury claims Francis Ngannou is set to make a cool $10,000,000 for his efforts in his first foray inside the squared circle, following his January departure from the UFC.

Fury, the incumbent WBC heavyweight champion, is slated to fight Cameroonian knockout artist, Ngannou next month in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – atop a pay-per-view card in the Middle East, with the duo competing over the course of 10 professional rounds.

Without his WBC title on the line, Morecambe native, Fury has been sidelined since last December, defending his crown on that occasion with a third career win over challenger, Derek Chisora in a London main event.

Tyson Fury claims Francis Ngannou is making a significant “bag” in their October fight

And drawing Batié striker, Ngannou in October, Fury, who appeared to defend the former UFC heavyweight champion’s decision to depart the Dana White-led banner, claimed the veteran knockout artis would make well in excess of seven figures in his professional boxing debut.

“Everyone said he (Francis Ngannou) was an idiot for walking away from the UFC, and now all of a sudden, he’s a genius, isn’t he?” Tyson Fury told assembled media at a pre-fight press conference. “(The) guy’s about to make $10,000,000. Come on. Egg in their face. Francis is about to make that bag. Rich.”

Sidelined from any combat sports competition since January of last year, Ngannou most recently headlined UFC 270 against then-interim heavyweight champion, Ciryl Gane, unifying the divisional crowns in a unanimous decision win over the recent UFC Paris headliner.

Expected to make his mixed martial arts return in the opening quarter of next year, Ngannou put pen to paper on a lucrative multi-year deal with the PFL (Professional Fighters League) earlier this annum to boot.

Who wins next month; Tyson Fury or Francis Ngannou?

Former two-time UFC welterweight title challenger, Jorge Masvidal has scoffed at last month’s professional boxing match between the outspoken, Jake Paul, and his former mixed martial arts opponent, Nate Diaz, claiming he would “hurt” the pair if he switched to boxing.

Masvidal, a veteran former welterweight title challenger under the banner of the UFC, called time on his storied mixed martial arts career back in April following a co-main event slot at UFC 287, suffering a fourth consecutive loss in a decision defeat against Gilbert Burns.

Switching his sole focus to promoting with Gamebred FC in the time since, Masvidal had, however, weighed up a potential return to the Octagon at UFC 300 next year – in the form of a rematch with former-foe and ex-UFC contender, Ben Askren

Jorge Masvidal pokes fun at the ability of Jake Paul and Nate Diaz

And sharing his thoughts on August’s boxing showdown between Ohio native, Paul and ex-UFC contender, Diaz – which the former won in a rather one-sided unanimous judging win, Masvidal claimed he would simply “hurt” the pair if he boxed them.

“I get with the skill set, they’re not going to be boxers,” Jorge Masvidal told MMA Fighting. “They’re not going to move like boxers, because they’re not boxers by craft either. They could’ve been meaner. That’s why watching that fight live, I was like, ‘I’m mean for real, bro.’ A lot of the guys in boxing are for real.”

“I didn’t have the feeling when I left that night,” Jorge Masvidal explained. “I didn’t feel like they were trying to kill each other, you know? Or hurt each other, or apply the sweet science to it’s highest mastery. I would hurt those dudes, bro. Like bad. I was there live, I seen it, man. It’s a different speed. Nate’s seen it – you can ask Nate about the speed. If Jake was having trouble [with Diaz], you know what I’d do to Jake, man.”

Whether reluctantly or not, former undisputed UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has labelled current division titleholder, Jon Jones as the greatest fighter to ever compete in mixed martial arts – amid their long-standing rivalry.

Ngannou, a former undisputed heavyweight champion under the banner of the UFC, has been sidelined from mixed martial arts competition since he headlined UFC 270 back in January of last year, successfully unifying the titles in a win over recent UFC Paris headliner, Ciryl Gane.

As for Jones, the Endicott native headlined UFC 285 in his first Octagon walk in over three years back in March of this annum, clinching heavyweight gold vacated by Ngannou, in his own first round guillotine choke win over common-foe, Gane.

Slated to make his return to combat sports next month, Batié knockout star, Ngannou headlines a professional boxing card in Saudi Arabia, taking on incumbent WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury in a non-title bout over the course of 10 rounds.

Francis Ngannou heaps praise on UFC rival, Jon Jones

And ahead of the bout, Ngannou, who has taken coaching advice from renowned former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, described his long-time enemy, Jones as the greatest competitor to ever grace mixed martial arts.

“There’s a lot of great ones coming up,” Francis Ngannou told COMPLEX during a recent interview. “New guys. I have to go with Jon Jones [as the GOAT] because of all the adversity and all he went through and he still managed to become champ.”

“As long as I want to fight Jon Jones I still think he will be my GOAT MMA fighter,” Francis Ngannou explained. “Because he’s just so good.”

Failing to ever settle his rivalry with Cameroonian knockout artist, Ngannou during their respective Octagon tenures, Jones recently made the claim that whilst preparing for his return to the UFC, he was returning with the hope of fighting the former champion.

“The narrative switched somehow and everyone is saying that I waited three years and I came back exactly when Francis (Ngannou) was gone,” Jon Jones explained. “That’s actually not true. When I got back, Francis was very much on the roster still and I could have been his last fight, but instead, he opted out and Ciryl Gane took Francis’ spot. I came back ready for Francis Ngannou, for sure. I’m not going to lie though, knowing I was fighting Ciryl Gane instead of Francis was kind of nice.”

Jake Paul three genders male female and mentally ill

Jake Paul suggested that any individual who does not identify as either male or female is suffering from a mental illness.

That’s the latest hot take from the social media star turned pro boxer weeks removed from his unanimous decision win over Nate Diaz. Jake Paul has carved out a career for himself in the squared circle by facing some of MMA’s biggest past-their-prime competitors. That includes former world champions Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva.

Most recently, ‘The Problem Child’ stepped into the ring in The Lone Star State for a scrap with tenured UFC fan favorite Nate Diaz. The pair delivered a highly entertaining 10-round clash that ultimately saw Jake Paul secure his seventh career win as a pugilist.

Recently, Jake Paul stepped in the ring with livestreamer and fellow YouTube star Adin Ross and was asked a question that has been the subject of much debate in recent years. Paul was asked how many genders he believes there are. Instead of taking the high road, Paul opted to suggest that gender-nonconforming individuals are suffering from a mental illness by not identifying themselves as either male or female.

There’s three genders; male, female, and mentally ill,” Paul said with a laugh.

Ironically, ‘The Problem Child’ shared a positive message regarding equal rights on International Women’s Day earlier this year.

“Equal rights and equal actions,” Paul tweeted, “We must work towards getting rid of inequality and oppression. I stand with all efforts to make society treat everyone as equal.”

Perhaps those rights only apply to individuals who fall within Paul’s personal beliefs toward gender.

Jake Paul Echoed Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Opinion on Gender

Last month, UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov made headlines when he also suggested that there are only two genders; male and female. He proceeded to tell a story regarding his confusion over non-gender-specific bathrooms before confirming his stance on the subject matter.

No matter which side of the fence you fall on, the debate over gender is likely not going anyway anytime soon.
