Logan Paul

Logan Paul snapped back at Brendan Schaub after the former UFC heavyweight expressed frustration over the legal issues looming over Paul’s upcoming fight with Dillon Danis.

Danis is expected to make his return to competition for the first time in four years on October 14, but much of his comeback has been overshadowed after the BJJ specialist became the subject of a lawsuit filed by Logan Paul’s fiancee, swimsuit model Nina Agdal.

In the suit, Danis is accused of targeting Agdal online more than 250 times by posting a bevy of NSFW photos, memes, and comments in an attempt to slut-shame the Dane. Danis insists that it was nothing more than a tactic to build up his fight with Logan Paul, but he appeared to take things a bit too far when he shared a sexually explicit photo of Agdal that was taken during a “romantic encounter” more than a decade ago.

Releasing the private image could potentially result in Danis facing charges for violating state and federal ‘revenge porn’ laws. If guilty, Danis could be on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

While most fight fans would agree that the drama has made the fight between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul more interesting, Brendan Schaub doesn’t see it that way. Taking to social media, Schaub voiced his opinion on the pending lawsuit suggesting that Paul is breaking some kind of unwritten rule by getting lawyers involved in something that was simply meant to promote his fight.

“This bums me out,” Schaub wrote on X. “First rule of fight club: 1. Don’t sue another fighter building the fight.”

Logan Paul Slams Two-Faced Brendan Schaub

Logan Paul didn’t take kindly to Schaub’s comments and quickly snapped back, reminding the former fighter that it was not him suing Danis, but an innocent bystander who endured the brunt of his incessant trolling.

“It bums me out that three weeks ago, I DM’d you Nina’s lawsuit details because of your ignorance and your response was, ‘Oh Jesus. Did not know that. Not cool.’ …Then, you come on here talking about fight club rules like you’re the referee. This twisted ‘promotion’ has gone FAR beyond the fight game and you know that,” Paul responded.

“Plus, I’m not the one suing him. He picked a fight with an innocent woman who is standing up for herself the only way she can: by holding a predator legally accountable for breaking the law — any person who doesn’t understand that is a delusional twat. The lawsuit is HER choice, and I fully support her.

“Now I get to break his face in front of millions of people & ruin his entire life. Win win.”

Brendan Schaub backs booking of Paddy Pimblett Vs. Tony Ferguson amid backlash over

Pimblett Vs. Ferguson is the perfect example of an older fighter being fed to the up-and-comer to capitalise on name value to younger athlete to put them over. The booking may be a little blatant considering the pairs recent performance, but these kinds of matchups have and always will be a part of the cruel cycle of combat sports.

It is very rare that a fighter that will escape young and dangerous opponent in the latter stages of their careers, especially when they are a recognisable name such as Ferguson.

Some of the MMA community have expressed there frustration with the fight being made.

Brendan Schaub defends matchmaking

Former heavyweight turned podcaster, Schaub, is often critical of the UFC and their CEO, Dana White, but came to the defence of their matmaking in this situation. His reasoning behind it is that while of the surface it may appear to be a big mismatch, it actually could be a winnable fight for Ferguson considering Pimblett’s performances in the Octagon.

“Finally. Finally, Tony gets a winnable fight,” Schaub said via his YouTube channel. “Not that it’s an easy fight, but look at his last seven fights. Bobby Green, he got submitted, that was a tough one. But Nate Diaz, which was short notice, Michael Chandler, (Beneil) Dariush, Charles Oliveira and Justin Gatheje. Before that, it was (Donald) Cerrone, Anthony Pettis, Kevin Lee, (Rafael) Dos Anjos. What? Look at who he’s fighting.” (H/T MMA Junkie)

Continuing, Schaub questioned Pimblett’s last performance (a controversial win over Jared Gordon) and his defence going into a fight with a puncher such as Ferguson

“My question for anybody going, ‘Oh, I see what the UFC is doing with this. It’s clear as day. They’re just feeding this young lion to Tony Ferguson,’” Schaub continued. “My question for you guys is: Do you really think Paddy Pimblett won his last fight? Most don’t. He’s probably coming off a loss against Jared Gordon. Before that, the only people Paddy has beat was Jordan Leavitt, (Rodrigo) Vargas.

They’re impressive fights, but he’s been hit in all those fights. … What aspect of MMA is Paddy Pimblett better at than Tony Ferguson? Striking? No. Grappling? No. Wrestling? No way.”

Ronda Rousey turned down more money than God to make return at UFC 300

Inaugural bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey is alleged to have turned down a more-than lucrative offer to make a return to mixed martial arts at UFC 300 next year, as per former promomtional heavyweight contender, Brendan Schaub.

Rousey, a former undisputed bantamweight champion under the banner of the UFC, retired from mixed martial arts competition in 2017, after suffering her second consecutive loss in a stunning opening round TKO loss to former two-weight champion, Amanda Nunes.

In the time since, the future Hall of Fame inductee has switched her focus to professional wrestling, plying her trade under the banner of the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).

However, ahead of the next edition of flagship event, WrestleMania next year, Rousey, who has struck gold under the promotional banner, has reportedly informed the WWE of a “hard out” date to end her tenure in professional wrestling.

As a result, the Riverside native has been linked with a stunning return to combat sports competition, in the form of a UFC comeback, however, those suggestions, particularly of a career-first featherweight walk, have been shot down by promotional boss, Dana White.

“There’s no shot,” Dana White told said. “She accomplished everything she set out to do.”

“Her dream was to win a UFC championship then win a WWE championship,” White explained. “And she’s done it. Now, she’s starting a family. Ronda has made so much money and she’s still making a lot of money in sponsorships.”

Ronda Rousey alleged to have rejected massive offer to make UFC comeback

However, according to the above-mentioned, Schaub, he has it on good authority that the UFC failed in a bid to land Rousey for a monumental UFC 300 next year, despite putting forward a lucrative deal.

“I’ll say this, I have it on good authority they [the UFC] offered Ronda Rousey more money than you can imagine to come abc, and she said no,” Brendan Schaub said on his podcast.

“Maybe Dana (White) didn’t do the deal, I’m not saying Dana offered it,” Schaub explained. “From what I know, they offered her more money than God and she was like, ‘I’m good.’ Ronda’s very smart, has other businesses, her farms, her house. She doesn’t need to do any of it. She said no.”

Former UFC heavyweight standout Brendan Schaub has once again put his foot in his mouth.

On Saturday, the promotion returns to Singapore for a highly anticipated featherweight clash pitting former world champion Max Holloway against fan favorite Chan Sung Jung, aka The Korean Zombie. Going into the bout, TKZ is listed as a massive underdog with some sportsbooks favoring Holloway eight-to-one.

Speaking about this weekend’s main event on an episode of his podcast, The Schaub Show, Brendan Schaub offered his take on the potentially one-sided showdown

“Your main event, you got Max Holloway versus Korean Zombie, you know, speaking of sacrifices. Speaking of beatdowns. You can never, oh my god Max Holloway is a -850. +520. This is one of those fights where I’m like I’ll take Max Holloway and Korean Zombie somehow like clips him and it’s like ‘oh well you got that one wrong Schaub, you’re always wrong’, I went four for six you idiot. ‘You didn’t call Max Holloway beating Korean Zombie though’, nope, sure didn’t.”

Schaub Takes Things a Little Too Far in His UFC Singapore Prediction

Unfortunately, Schaub didn’t stop there, making a rather ignorant statement on the beating he believes The Korean Zombie will receive against Holloway.

I think Max Holloway is going to pepper his Korean face into North Korea,” Schaub added. “That’s what I think. His face is going to go from South to North, that’s what I think is going to happen” (h/t MMA News).

Moving past Schaub’s borderline racist remarks, most fans tend to agree with his prediction, believing that Holloway will hand TKZ a beating akin to the one he received against featherweight world champion Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 273 last year.

‘Blessed’ goes into the bout winning four of his last seven fights with all three of his losses coming against Volkanovski. In April, Holloway dispatched Arnold Allen decisively in a five-round main event and immediately called for a fight with The Korean Zombie, one of the few featherweight mainstays he has yet to share the Octagon with.

Brendan Schaub offered return to MMA against Derrick Lewis after UFC 291 KO win

Despite calling time on his professional mixed martial arts career back in 2015, former heavyweight champion, Brendan Schaub has been offered a stunning route back to active competition by former UFC title challenger, Jorge Masvidal under the banner of his Gamebred Fighting Championship promotion – against current free-agent, Derrick Lewis.

Schaub, a former heavyweight contender under the banner of the UFC, and finalist on The Ultimate Fighter 10 back in 2009, suffered a first round knockout loss to common-foe, Roy Nelson in the reality television series finale.

In his most recent outing, Schaub, who was infamously encouraged to retire from active competition by friend and UFC color-commentator, Joe Rogan during a podcast appearance, suffered a ground strikes TKO loss to Travis Browne, which followed a split decision loss to former undisputed heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski.

Brendan Schaub offered stunning return to MMA competition

However, the outspoken podcast host and standup comedian has been offered what would come as a stunning return to the sport by former welterweight title challenger, Masvidal, who suggested he could fight against once-rumored foe and recent UFC 291 knockout star, Lewis.

“Ooooh boy @GamebredFighter (Jorge Masvidal) made me a real offer to come out of retirement and fight in his bareknuckle fight league,” Brendan Schaub tweeted

Featuring on the main card of UFC 291 just last weekend, former heavyweight title challenger, Lewis, who confirmed he had completed his contractual obligations with the Dana White-led promotion with his outing, stopped Brazilian contender, Marcos Rogerio de Lima with a stunning 33-second knockout win in Salt Lake City.

Over the course of Schaub’s professional mixed martial arts career, the now-40-year-old has turned in notable career victories over the likes of Gabriel Gonzaga, Mirko Cro Cop, Lavar Johnson, and Matt Mitrione to name a few.

Brendan Schaub backs ‘Cowboy’ in potential fight with Andrew Tate: ‘Cerrone would f*ck him up’

Andrew Tate

Ex-UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub believes ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone would easily handle Andrew Tate in a potential fight between the two combat sports stars.

Tate and ‘Cowboy’ have been at odds with one another ever since Tate was made aware of some alleged comments Cerrone had made about him behind closed doors. Tate welcomed the UFC Hall of Famer to come to his home and find out how real he is in a fight. Needless to say, those comments did not sit well with ‘Cowboy’ who quickly snapped back in an expletive-filled rant, calling Tate’s kickboxing accomplishments into question.

Appearing on The Fighter and the Kid podcast with Bryan Callen, Brendan Schaub spoke about the beef between Andrew Tate and ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, suggesting that as good as Tate may be, he doesn’t want any part of Cerrone.

“Listen, I like Andrew Tate. [I know] people are making fun of him for his boxing record, or something like that,” Schaub said.
I mean, Cerrone would f*ck him up, don’t get it twisted. Cerrone would f*ck Andrew Tate up. And I think Cerrone is just going after him because he’s so famous Like, they wouldn’t be going after him if he wasn’t this big name. But I know Joe Schilling was trying to fight him for years and it just never happened.

“[Tate] don’t want any part of Joe Schilling. You don’t want ‘Cowboy’ and Schilling. You don’t want them problems, but if I’m Andrew Tate, who gives a f*ck?”

Brendan Schaub Calls the Romanian Government Crooked, Supports Andrew Tate in Human Trafficking Investigation

Currently, Andrew Tate is under house arrest in Romania after being taken into custody alongside his brother, Tristan Tate, and two other individuals in December. The four are accused of running a criminal enterprise and committing a variety of crimes, including rape and human trafficking.

Tate has maintained his innocence since the charges were brought and many within the combat sports community are backing Tate. That includes Brendan Schaub who believes this is nothing more than a case of a corrupt government going after one of its most prominent figures.

“The Romanian government is crooked as f*ck and he would be let out anywhere else in the world,” Schaub said. “If he’s in America, he’s fine. Romania, I don’t know how it works out there. He needs to get the f*ck out of there. If they do let him out, he’ll be fine.”

As Bryan Callen mentions during the podcast, Andrew Tate has much bigger issues to worry about than what ‘Cowboy’ is saying about him. But even if Tate is acquitted of all charges and walks free, don’t expect to see him step up and accept a fight anytime soon given his immense success on social media.
