Drake weak generation Jake Paul Nate Diaz press conference question

Drake reacts to cringeworthy media member at the Nate Diaz Vs.  Jake Paul press conference, labels new generation at ‘weak’.

The first press conference for the Paul Vs. Diaz boxing match took place just a couple of days ago, and rather than either fighter grabbing most of the headlines – it was a media member and employee of Jake Paul.

During the Q&A section of the event, Dereck Sullivan, an employee of Paul’s who produces content for Betr, asked Diaz for a fight with his brother Nick, before disrespecting his fighting skills.

“Nate, I’m actually a boxer myself and I’ve been trying to get into this undercard,” Sullivan began. “I’m just wondering if you think I could fight your brother, Nick, because if he’s anything like you I think I’d beat his f—king ass.”

Drake reacts to press conference

Via his Instagram, hip-hop artist Drake reacted to the embarrassing press conference moment.

‘Man why would u play with a real g. this is a weak generation.’- Drake.

In response to this, Sullivan would issue an ‘apology’ before calling out the musician to a boxing matchup via the Betr Instagram, in what is a clear attempt to get more attention from the incident.

“I would like to apologise for the question I asked at the Jake Paul Vs. Nate Diaz press conference,” Sullivan said. “I would especially like to apologise to my boss Jake Paul and I would definitely want to apologise to Nate Diaz. Nate, please don’t hurt me, but if you do I definitely deserve it.”

Having said all this, Nick Diaz, the contracts been sent and Drake and I see fucking calling me out on you Instagram story, saying I’m what’s wrong with his generation. if you have a problem, come see me in the ring.”

Alex Pereira warn Drake UFC 287 bet

Canadian rapper Drake is well-known for his outrageous bets on UFC fights. Including losing money on Israel Adesanya when he was knocked out by Brazil’s Alex Pereira.

The UFC middleweight world title will be contested once against between ‘Poatan’ Alex Pereira and ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesnaya. This match is booked for April 8 headlining UFC 287. Last bout, the Canadian rapper reportedly lost $2 million dollars. This time, Pereira said he better bet on the right man. On Twitter, ‘Poatan’ shared:

“Drake I hope this time you bet on the right person ?

Drake’s UFC bets

The best-selling rapper is no stranger to betting in combat sports. Aside from the Pereira and Adesnya match, he recently placed $500,000 on Jon Jones to defeat Ciryl Gane at UFC 285.

Drake also placed a bet on Jake Paul to defeat Tyson Fury, losing him $400,000. He also picked Jorge Masvidal to defeat Colby Covington where he lost $275,000. Plis, he also picked Justin Gaethje to defeat Charles Oliveira losing him a further $400,000. In 2018, he was also in the corner when Conor McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Online the rapper also showed support for Deontay wilder before his loss to Tyson Fury.

Heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua joked that the Drake curse is so destructive that he might ban the rapper from the dressing room. In an interview with ESPN, AJ said:

“‘You know about the Drake curse? It’s real thoughThis is what I’m saying, what’s weird though is I took a picture with Drake. We took it before [Jarrell] Miller got banned. Miller then had a drug test and got popped. The fight got canceled!”

Anthony Joshua’s next bout was his KO loss against Andy Ruiz Jr. Considering the power of the curse, Pereira may not want the bet.

Another UFC PPV event, another exorbitant bet from Canadian rapper/singer Drake.

This time, ‘Drizzy’ is going heavy on former UFC light heavyweight champ, and GOAT contender, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones. What’s more, Drake is backing Jones to win inside the distance at UFC 285.

The rapper known for dropping billboard-topping tracks such as ‘One Dance,’ ‘Hotline Bling’ and ‘Rich Flex,’ has placed $250,000 on Jon Jones to submit Ciryl Gane, and a further $250,000 on ‘Bones’ to win via KO.

This is not the first time Drake has bet big on combat sports. Only last week, he placed $400,000 on Jake Paul to KO Tommy Fury, a bet that of course did not cash, as ‘TNT’ would claim victory via Split Decision.

In 2022, the Canadian put 2 million dollars on Israel Adesanya to defeat his old kickboxing rival, Alex Pereira, at UFC 281. Adesanya was up on the judge’s scorecards, but with mere minutes to go in the final round, Pereira landed his signature left hook, TKOing ‘The Last Stylebender.’

Drake’s pocket will be a bit lighter waking up this morning after betting on Israel Adesanya (23-2 MMA) to come out on top against Alex Pereira (7-1 MMA) at UFC 281.

Drake losses $2 Million after backing Adesanya to win at UFC 281

The ‘Sixth Man’ loves himself a bet and did so again after confidently putting down $2 million on Adesanya to overcome his past and beat his former foe, Alex Pereira in Madison Square Garden at UFC 281.

The featured main event didn’t disappoint with both fighters trading heavy blows back and forth across all five rounds.

Despite ‘The Last Stylebender’ seemingly having control over the scorecards heading into the fifth and final round, this is where Pereira was able to unleash his most devastating flurry of the entire fight.

‘Poatan’ was hunting to land his trademark left hook all fight, however, after applying pressure to chase victory in the final round it opened up his window of opportunity to connect.

Although the hook did not drop Adesanya to the canvas, the power of the punch was evident and was enough for the referee to step in and stop the fight.

Alex Pereira’s victory now marks the third time he has beaten Adesnaya across any combat sport setting, with the other two meetings taking place in Glory Kickboxing earlier on in their careers.

If things were to have gone Drake’s way, the Canadian rapper would be looking at a $900k pay-out, however, reality must’ve hit just as hard as Pereira last night after losing almost double the amount.

This is not the first time Drake has put big bucks on Israel Adesanya to continue his dominance at 185lbs after previously betting ‘light mil’ on him to beat his previous matchup Jared Cannonier at UFC 276.
