27 Ways to Know You’re Part of the MMA Media

(The MMA media in a nutshell, except replace Jade Bryce with Dana White and Eric Holden with any credentialed “journalist” in the business. / Photo via Examiner.com)

By the CagePotato.com staff

The MMA media is a diverse bunch, ranging from actual professionals to despicable bottom-feeders like us. However, there are trials and tribulations that we can all relate to, and which ultimately unite us. For example…

1. You’ve been called a Zuffa shill whenever you say something positive about the UFC.

2. You’ve been called an anti-Zuffa hack whenever you say anything negative about the UFC.

3. You complain about all the free UFC events you have to watch on cable.

4. You abide by the list of topics to not talk about.

5. A fighter had threatened to slap your or otherwise cause you bodily harm.

6. A fighter has motorboated you.

7. A fighter has humped you.

8. You’ve seen the word “exclusive” used so many times that it has lost all meaning.

9. You never leave home without your tape recorder, notepad, fake nose, and shock pen.

UFC 150 GIF Party: The Girl in the Red Dress, Cerrone KOs Guillard + More

(Props: Zombie Prophet/BloodyElbow)

Whoever’s in charge of giving away free UFC tickets to hot chicks has really upped their game lately. (God bless you, pervert.) Last week we had the bounce-tastic “Girl in the White Dress,” who entertained us between fights at UFC on FOX 4. And on Saturday at UFC 150, it was the eye-catching blonde shown above — either Melissa Debling or her long-lost twin sister — whose glorious rack nearly distracted us from the vile ginger neckbeard situation happening directly behind her.

But Girl in the Red Dress wasn’t the only memorable seat-filler this weekend. Check out two more ladies trying to make love to the camera at UFC 150 (with varying levels of success) plus a couple gifs from the actual fights, after the jump…

GIF of the Day: Britney Palmer Roughly Manhandled by Brazilian Savages

(“Como um CHEFE!”)

On the last episode of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, Vitor Belfort out-scored Wanderlei Silva in a soccer-themed coaches’ challenge, and Gasparzinho celebrated by picking up ring girl Britney Palmer and carrying her away, kicking and screaming. Team Vitor set upon Britney like a pack of wild dogs. When the UFC’s local security crew finally dragged them off, nothing remained of Palmer but a tattered red bikini top — her shorts were devoured completely — and a pair of silicone breast-implants, picked clean of all flesh. Each member of Team Vitor received R$2,000 (approximately $980) for the win. See, this is the kind of shit you miss when you don’t watch.

Two versions of the GIF are after the jump, courtesy of The UG. In the smaller/longer one, you can catch a glimpse of Britney fleeing for her life after the abduction.

GIF of the Year Candidate: Bigfoot Silva’s Pre-Fight Face-Warmup

(Props: Calavero)

In a candid moment backstage before his UFC 146 co-main event against Cain Velasquez, Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva was spotted working through a rather unique pre-fight warmup, which included bobbing his massive jaw up and down in Muppet-like fashion, and hammer-fisting himself in the nose. While Silva successfully avoided any painful face-cramps during the fight, he wasn’t able to prevent this from happening.

Related: This very NSFW variation from letibleu on the UG, which makes a dramatic shift from “LOL!” to “NOOOOOOOO!”. You’ve been warned.
