It’s now nine successful submission wins for Roufusport grappling standout, Brendan Allen — who scores a late first round heel hook win over Karl Roberson on the preliminary card of UFC 261.

Rebounding from a knockout loss to Sean Strickland back at UFC Vegas 14 in November, Allen moves to 4-1 in the UFC with the win, with two of his promotional wins now coming via submission.

The Dana White‘s Contender Series alum adds Roberson to prior successes over recent UFC Vegas 22 headliner, Kevin Holland, British standout, Tom Breese, and Kyle Daukaus. The former LFA middleweight best moves to 16-4 as a professional off the back of his win over Sanford MMA trainee, Roberson.

Danaa ‘Storm’ Bartegel moves to 2-1 in the UFC — off the back of a massive opening-round knockout win over Kevin Natividad.

Headlining the early preliminary portion of the pay-per-view event at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, the Mongolian stopped Natividad in just fifty seconds — landing a massive counter left hook, before swarming with some notable finishing instincts, forcing referee, Herb Dean to stop the bout.

The win sees Batgerel improve his undefeated run to two fights, following a knockout win over Guido Cannetti at UFC 248 last March at the T-Mobile Arena. In his promotional bow, the Jackson-Wink MMA trainee dropped a unanimous decision loss to Heili Alateng at UFC Fight Night Shenzhen in August of 2019. Sitting at 9-2 professional, tonight’s win marked the fifth occasion Batgerel stopped a fight via strikes.

Utisling his forward pressure and even scoring a breif takedown in the opening round via a transition from single-leg to a double variant, Gamrot got the attention of Holtzman, clipping him just above the ear despite some verbal disagreements from the latter.

Setting up the finish in the opening minute of the second, Gamrot, now under the tutelage of Mike Brown at American Top Team for the last three months, dropped Holtzman with a one-two combination before swarming with ground strikes. Timely and correct stoppage from Jason Herzog.

Opening with a massive right leg kick, Ngannou scored a huge overhand, landing clean on Miocic who absorbed the shot well. Attempting a takedown, Ngannou defended and sprawled well, landing some clubbing blows from Miocic’s back before they resumed on the feet. Another heavy, heavy leg kick landed for Ngannou before the thirty second mark in the opening round. 10-9 Ngannou after one.

Scoring a knockdown with a lead jab, Ngannou swarmed on Miocic who was incredible wobbly, and despite landing a shot on the challenger, Ngannou countered with a massive left hook knocking Miocic out cold, before landing another shot on the ground.

Immediately, in quite surprising fashion given recent performances, Woodley closed the distance and locked up with Luque at the fence. Winging with massive bombs, Woodley cracked Luque right behind the ear, drawing a brief wobble from the finisher, before suffering his own moment of worry when the latter counter with a massive overhand.

Worrying backing up to the Octagon fence in massive trouble, Woodley ate more strikes before evading, however, the far side of the Octagon didn’t offer ample time to recover, as Luque pour more pressure on.

Rocking the Missouri native again, Luque sunk in a D’Arce choke on the former welterweight kingpin, eventually forcing the tap.
