For those of you who don’t know, “Swagger Jacked” is the new phrase for stealing another man’s style, swag, or even ideas.

The most recent case of Swagger Jackin’ took place when Rashad Evans claimed current UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones stole his style.

But, Evans isn’t the only man who’s been jacked of his swag.

The following slides display five fighters who’ve been swagger jacked in MMA today.

Let’s take a look.

UFC 137 Results: What Fight Fans Have to Look Forward to for Rest of 2011

MMA is growing, whether people choose to accept it or not, and it’s shown for most of 2011 so far. We’ve seen knockouts come forth in stunning fashion, we’ve seen legends take hard shots while other legends gave hard shots, we’ve seen non-traditional submissions win fights, and of course, we’ve seen Jon Jones’ “Bonejitsu”. The current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion is 3-0 in 2011 bouts, by the way.

The wild, crazy, insane, and unfathomable have all taken place in 2011, but we still have quite a ways to go before we’re done with the year, and as combat sports fans in some respect, we’re not just leaving it at MMA either—though, an entire section could be dedicated to what’s left in the boxing world in 2011. With all that being said, what exactly can we expect in the last few months of 2011?

UFC 140 Card Is Final

The Ultimate Fighting Championship finalized the complete UFC 140 fight card this past week and the final card produced is stacked with quality fights.

In the main event, Jon Jones will put his lightheavyweight title on the line for the second time this year against Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida who is coming off a knockout of Randy Couture in Toronto in April.

The Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Tito Ortiz, is on the card along with other UFC stars such as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Frank Mir, Chan Sung Jung and Rodrigo Nogueira.

The card is also packed with eight Canadian fighters in key matchups with heavy implications for their respective futures.

Canadian’s Mark “The Machine” Hominick, Rory “Ares” MacDonald, Krzysztof Soszynski, Mark Bocek, John Makdessi, Claude Patrick, Yves Jabouin and Mitch Clarke are all fighting on the December 10th card in Toronto.

Shawn Tompkins Tribute Card Canceled

Global Warriors Fighting Championships Halloween Havoc event scheduled for Saturday October 29th, at 5 p.m. has been canceled at the last minute.

The event was a tribute event to the late Shawn Tompkins and was set to be an incredible showcase for up-and-coming fighters in Ontario. Team Tompkins and Adrenaline Training Center London fighters Jesse Ronson, Pete Brown, Clint Kingsbury, Rowan Cunningham and Jesse Gross were all set to showcase the team that the late Coach spawned.

Global Warriors president Garnet Ace took full responsibility for canceling the event, but his stated reason for doing so is unclear. In a statement released by Ace and posted by MMA Ontario, it states that headliner Jeff Lents was injured and could not fight so rather than deliver a sub par card, they are postponing or canceling the card. This has left the fighters and fans extremely disappointed and frustrated.

See my video blog “The Submission” attached for my complete rant on how this all went down and some advice for the small regional MMA shows.

UFC Undisputed 3: What We Know Now and What Can Make It the Best MMA Game Ever

Since the UFC has blown up as a promotion and is a couple weeks from its biggest event in company history when it premiers on FOX for a live Heavyweight title match, I felt it was time to talk about one aspect that has helped in making the UFC a marketable product.

While the UFC had as decent following when it started and after it was acquired by Zuffa, it really broke into the mainstream with The Ultimate Fighter TV show and the fight between Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin. The next logical step in order to make products that fans would buy is a video game.

Now there had been UFC video games before the first UFC Undisputed, but each of those were panned by critics and fans alike. Yet, with Undisputed, everything seemed to click and it sold better than most would have expected. More importantly, though, the game was fun to play and pretty user friendly for gamers.

The sequel would come out the following year and fix most of the problems from the previous edition, but it still had a few things that could be worked on. So with the reveal of the cover of the next Undisputed game along with the roster, I wrote this article to write about what’s known about the game so far, but more importantly, what could be added to make it the best game possible for us the fans.

Jon Jones is considered “the future” of MMA. For many fans, that’s a future they’d rather avoid.

While Jones’ popularity has skyrocketed the past year, so too has ire of fans. The UFC hype machine has gone into overdrive mode with promoting Jones to the public and for his part, Jones has lived up to the hype.

He ran through Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and used a solid game plan to slowly chop away at Quinton “Rampage” Jackson in his first title defense.

However, for a number of reasons (seven in this case), fans just want to see Jon Jones crumble.
