Vitor Belfort calls for Logan Paul boxing match UFC I promise I won't hurt you

Vitor Belfort is once again calling out Jake and Logan Paul.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion scored his second-straight win inside the squared circle on April 1, besting former Strikeforce middleweight titleholder Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza via unanimous decision. Appearing at the Gamebred Boxing 4 post-fight press event, ‘The Phenom’ noted that it should have been him and not Anthony Pettis competing against boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. in the main event of the evening.

“I should’ve fought Roy Jones Jr. in the main event, not Pettis. It was supposed to be two legendary guys, but they put Pettis there,” Belfort complained. “Now I have an offer for Gamebred. Let’s go to Florida. I was hoping to face Roy, but Pettis won. So let’s make that fight in Florida. Me and Pettis. No excuses” (h/t Bloddy Elbow)

If he can’t get Pettis inside the squared circle, Vitor Belfort has another name in mind.

“If not Pettis, bring on Jake Paul,” Belfort continued. “He’s coming off a loss, I’ll take him. I can fight Jake Paul and become his dad.”

It’s not the first time that Belfort has taken aim at the social media sensations. In 2021, ‘The Phenom’ called out the brothers, specifically Jake Paul when ‘The Problem Child’ was just three fights into his professional boxing career.

Vitor Belfort Takes Aim at Logan Paul

With Jake Paul now scheduled to scrap with former UFC standout Nate Diaz this summer, Vitor Belfort is once again looking in a different direction for his next appearance in the ring. ‘The Phenom’ has now locked on older brother Logan Paul, calling out the WWE Superstar on Instagram in a now-deleted post initially translated by Ag Fight.

Dana White, tell your boy to man up and fight me,” Belfort posted. “Let’s do the co-main event for the fight between Nate Diaz and your brother Jake. The winner of that fight takes the winner of our fight. Go get ready and fight me. I promise I won’t hurt you.”

Logan Paul is nearly two years removed from his last appearance inside a boxing ring, having gone eight rounds with undefeated pugilist Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather in June 2021. Since then, Paul has found success in the world of sports entertainment, signing with the WWE in 2022. Paul completed his first year with the promotion at WrestleMania 39 earlier this month. He re-signed with the company shortly after, making a fight with Vitor Belfort unlikely at this time.

Darren Till confirms move to boxing following UFC exit Logan Paul fight

Former undisputed UFC welterweight title challenger and former middleweight contender, Darren Till has confirmed that he will be transitioning to professional boxing in his return to combat sports later this year, following his departure from the Dana White-led promotion earlier this annum.

Till, 30, who most recently featured at UFC 282 back in December of last year, suffered his third consecutive loss in the form of a third round rear-naked choke submission loss to surging South African middleweight contender, Dricus du Plessis.

The defeat came off the back of a submission loss to Derek Brunson, and a unanimous decision defeat against former undisputed UFC middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker.

Plagued by a series of injuries – including a debilitating knee injury suffered in his ‘Fight Island’ judging loss to Whittaker in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Till confirmed how he had requested his UFC release following his loss to du Plessis.

Darren Till remains confident of winning a UFC middleweight title

Confirming his intentions to return to the organization, Team Kaobon staple, Till claimed that he was confident he could return to the UFC in the next two to three years, and clinch the undisputed middleweight title.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Till stated that he would be making a turn to professional boxing in his next combat sports venture, before weighing up potential fights with the likes of professional wrestler, Logan Paul, and recent big-winner, Tommy Fury.

“If that fight [with Logan Paul] comes about, I’ve got my team speaking for me, he’s got his team, it’s a big money fight,” Darren Till told Neue Online Casinos. “The guy, he’s a boxer, whatever, I do feel I would just run over him. We’ll see. Maybe it will happen at some point in the future.”

“If I’m going to come into boxing, I am going to be running over these guys,” Darren Till explained. “Running over them. He seems to do a lot, wrestling, boxing, WWE. He’s a showman. Making a lot of money. I know he’s got that Prime drink and that seems to be doing really weel. I’m one of these guys, If I see a guy making money, I’m always happy for them. I’m not a hater. If it makes money, it makes sense. That’s my motto.”

KSi offers to fight Andrew Tate in tag team match Logan Paul Tristan Tate

With Andrew Tate recently released from a Romanian prison this week, fellow social media celebrities Logan Paul and KSI, real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, have an interesting proposal for the British-American kickboxer and his brother.

It’s no secret that Andrew Tate is not overly fond of Logan Paul or KSI and the Prime Hydration Drink promoters believe they can parlay that into some type of tag team contest inside the world of combat sports. YouTube channel Fesify recently uploaded a video exploring the possibility of such an event with KSI comments on the possibility.

“Imagine this tag team main event though,” KSI said. “Oh my god. Prime Time vs. Team Tate. Fam, where would this be? You know, live at the Romanian prisons? I don’t even think it would be a challenge. I think we should breeze past them. I think I could take on both of them myself.”

Andrew Tate and Brother Will Remain Under House Arrest Until April 29

It wouldn’t be the first time that KSI had been tasked with fighting two men on the same night. In August 2022, the Brit scored back-to-back knockouts of Brandon Scott and Luis Alcaraz Pineda on the same night.

Logan Paul is currently in the process of completing the first year of his WWE contract. It remains to be seen if the social media sensation will re-sign with the promotion, but he will be part of WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, taking on Iowa’s own Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins in a highly anticipated match during the two-night extravaganza.

As for Andrew Tate, the love-him-or-hate-him misogynist was released from a Romania prison for the first time since being detained in December on suspicion of rape and human trafficking. Tate was arrested alongside three other individuals, including his brother Tristan Tate. The four will remain under house arrest until April 29. With the brothers now back at home, they could presumably begin negotiating to take part in an event following the end of their legal issues.

Logan Paul claims Nate Diaz is ducking a fight with him UFC boxing

0-1 professional boxer and podcast host, Logan Paul – the elder brother of fellow professional boxer, Jake Paul – akin to his sibling, has offered to welcome former UFC feature, Nate Diaz to the squared circle, accusing the Stockton native of “ducking” the matchup with him.

Paul, a professional boxer who competed just once professionally in a decision rematch loss to British musician and YouTuber, KSI back in November 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

Competing in an exhibition clash against former multiple-weight and multiple-time boxing world champion, Floyd Mayweather over the course of eight rounds in June 2021, Paul fought with the Grand Rapids native in a non-scored fight.

As for Diaz, the former UFC lightweight title challenger managed to snap his losing skid back in September of last year at UFC 279, defeating former interim champion, Tony Ferguson with a rallying fourth round guillotine choke win at the T-Mobile Arena.

Competing his contractual obligations following the culmination of the event, Diaz has yet to pen terms to make a combat sports return, however, has been linked with Logan Paul’s younger brother, Jake Paul in a potential professional boxing matchup – prior to the latter’s loss to Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia earlier this year.

Logan Paul offers to fight UFC veteran, Nate Diaz in professional boxing

However, according to Ohio native, Logan Paul – Californian veteran, Diaz is actually denying a fight against him, avoiding the former.

“I think this guy [Nate Diaz] might be running from me,” Logan Paul said during a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport. “This guy – I think he’s ducking [me]. You have an extremely healthy deal on the table with a person who will, by far, sell the most pay-per-views that you will get from any partner that you decide to go into a fight with.”

“And, I’m an 0-1 YouTuber, why would you back out of that?” Logan Paul explained.
