Well, UFC 199, which went down last night live on pay-per-view (PPV) from The Forum in Inglewood, California, provided the mixed martial arts (MMA) community with one of the craziest nights in recent memory.

Multiple story lines prevailed, but perhaps none more memorable than the one that emerged from the main event.

25 Octagon fights and a decade into his storied UFC career, Michael “The Count” Bisping has finally reached the pinnacle.

Accepting a bout with Luke Rockhold on just over two weeks’ notice, many had Bisping was a huge +600 underdog heading into the night.

After all, Rockhold did dismantle the British veteran in November 2014, and Bisping came into that bout with a full camp.

However, as we are so often reminded, the fight game is unpredictable.

Bisping came out firing in the first round, putting Rockhold away with strikes early on to become the undisputed middleweight champion of the world.

What a rollercoaster ride it has been for “The Count”, and now at age 37, he’s finally on top.

Let’s take a look at four potential fights for Bisping to take next:

Michael Bisping: ‘Liar’ Luke Rockhold Has A Bit Of A Vagina

Bitter rivals Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping will face off in a rematch for Rockhold’s 185-pound title in the main event of this Saturday’s (June 4, 2016) UFC 199 from The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Originally, Rockhold was slated to rematch ex-champion Chris Weidman, but Weidman was forced to withdraw from the bout with an injury, leading the UFC to call on Bisping to accept the bout on short notice, although “The Count” wasn’t actually the top choice.

In fact, the UFC was hoping that top contender Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, a man Rockhold previously beat in a Strikeforce bout in 2011, would accept the bout, but the Brazilian was set to undergo a knee surgery.

According to Bisping, however, Rockhold turned down a fight with “Jacare”:

“Luke says that he’s on a different level than everybody else and he’s by far the best fighter and he can destroy anybody and this, that and the other,” Bisping said at the UFC 199 pre-fight press conference. “Well, if that is the case, then it turns out he’s a liar, because the guy has a bit of a vagina inside him because he turned down Ronaldo ‘Jacare,’ whatever his name is. He turned the fight down. I didn’t turn this fight down.”

Rockhold laughed it off, saying that he hand-picked Bisping because the British veteran will bring the fight and bring attention to the bout as opposed to “Jacare”.

Bisping once again re-iterated his claim later on, once again blasting the champion:

“Luke didn’t want the Jacare fight,” Bisping said. “He chose me. He ‘chose.’ That’s a real good way of saying he turned it down. ‘I chose you.’ So you didn’t choose ‘Jacare.’ I thought you were the big dog. I thought you were the big, swinging dick, man. You were the best in the world, buddy.”

Rockhold then fired back, reminding Bisping about the outcome of their first bout:

“I fucking knocked you out and I choked you out and you still have the audacity to run your mouth,” Rockhold said. “That is the most amazing thing about you, Bisping. I know you can’t see straight, but you obviously can’t think straight, either.”

The two men certainly brought it to the press conference today, and there’s no reason to believe that they won’t bring it on fight night.

Who do you see coming out on top?

Luke Rockhold: UFC 199 Will Be The End Of Michael Bisping

We’re now just over a week away from the scheduled middleweight title rematch between bitter rivals Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping which is slated for June 4’s UFC 199 from Inglewood, California. We’re now just over a week away from the scheduled middleweight title rematch between bitter rivals Luke Rockhold and Michael Bisping which is slated for June 4’s UFC 199 from Inglewood, California.

Rockhold was originally set to meet ex-champion Chris Weidman, but Weidman was forced to withdraw with another injury, leading the UFC to call on Bisping to step up on extremely short notice.

Despite the short notice, however, Rockhold and Bisping haven’t had trouble hyping up the fight and ramping up the trash talk, and the two actually went back and forth on a UFC 199 media call yesterday (May 26, 2016).

Rockhold got the better of “The Count” the first time around, and he plans to not only ‘end’ Bisping again, but to run a demolition course through the 185-pound division’s elite (via FOX Sports):

“Going out there to shut Mike’s mouth, to shut all these guys mouths. All these guys have made excuses. Mike, Chris Weidman, Jacare, well guess what? I beat them all and I’m going to beat them all again, one at a time. They’re all going to get theirs,” Rockhold said.

“Mike’s a tough dude. He’s got balls. He took this fight but this will not be his fairytale. This will be his swan song. This will be the end of him.”

It appears as if the champion is out to prove something, threatening to ‘humiliate’ Bisping, and guaranteeing that the British veteran will not be holding the title after the night’s event:

“You will not be a champion. I will humiliate you next week. Mark my words — humiliation,” Rockhold said. “It’s going to be so one-sided, it’s going to be something special.”

Bisping, a notorious trash talker in his own right, fired back at Rockhold. Oozing with confidence, Bisping feels as if it’s his time to shine:

“All right, we’ll see about that. When you’re on the floor and you’re looking up at the stars it’s going to be ‘(expletive), I just lost my belt to a guy that came in on two weeks’ notice,’ took your belt that you worked so hard for on two weeks’ (expletive) notice,” Bisping said.

“How’s that going to feel?”

Who do you see taking home UFC gold next weekend?

Uriah Hall Blasts Luke Rockhold For Taking ‘Easy’ Fight

When former UFC champion Chris Weidman pulled out of his scheduled UFC 199 (June 4, 2016) rematch with current title holder Luke Rockhold earlier this week, multiple 185-pounders offered up their services in hopes of receiving a coveted shot at gold.

One of those fighters was No. 10-ranked Uriah “Primetime” Hall, who was slated to meet Anderson Silva at last weekend’s (May 14, 2016) UFC 198 before “The Spider” was forced to withdraw with an injury of his own.

Hall, although coming off of a loss to Robert Whittaker, claimed that he was the only candidate ‘ready’ to meet Rockhold given that he had completed a training camp for UFC 198.

In the end, the UFC elected to choose No. 4-ranked Michael “The Count” Bisping to replace Weidman and meet Rockhold.

The two men have actually met before back in 2014 with Rockhold scoring a decision victory over the British veteran. Since then, however, Bisping has rattled off three-straight victories, and is coming off of a decision win over Silva last February.

Bisping appears to be deserving of the title shot, although the decision has been met with some criticism.

Hall, obviously unhappy with the situation, decided to offer up his thoughts as well, blasting Rockhold for taking the ‘easy’ fight:

“Primetime” also responded to those saying he wasn’t deserving of the shot, saying that rankings and his recent loss shouldn’t have been factors:

Hall is indeed one of the very best strikers in the 185-pound division, but one would have to assume that he’d need a few more wins before facing off with Rockhold.

What do you make of the decision to make Rockhold vs. Bisping II?
