Ricardo Lamas Pokes Fun at Conor McGregor in Parody Video

Former UFC featherweight title contender Ricardo Lamas has taken his talents outside of the Octagon to star as “The Delirious” Conrad McGillicutty—an Irish mixed martial artist. Oscar Bait: ‘Brokeback Mounch’, Starring Renato Laranja and Josh Barnett [VIDEO]

(Props: Flixpoint TV)

After doing a surprisingly solid Robert De Niro impression in his Heat parody with Kenny Florian, 27-time Jiu-Jitsu World Champion Renato Laranja further flexes his dramatic chops in “Brokeback Mounch,” which kicks off the latest episode of the Renato Laranja Show. Laranja’s co-star this time is Josh Barnett, aka the heavyweight Heath Ledger. The sexual tension is unbearable. Start your week off the right way and give it a look. (There’s also a long interview with Chris Leben afterwards, if you’re interested. Laranja starts the segment by congratulating Leben for being an inspiration to cripples everywhere. I LOL’d.)

Related: The Renato Laranja Rocky III parody — “Hocky III,” obviously — with Cris Cyborg as Adrian. Yeah, like you’re not gonna click on that.

This Bigfoot Silva/Taylor Swift Mashup is the Greatest Thing You Will Ever Witness Today [VIDEO]

It’s pretty much known by anyone who possesses a working set of ears that Taylor Swift has the vocal range of a walrus being strangled to death by a vibrating belt machine (as opposed to say, Warbringer, who are basically the Three Tenors of our generation). Still, that fact hasn’t stopped her from snatching up damn near every Billboard, CMT, MTV, BET, or Grammy award out there, because musical talent is something that is apparently determined by how many lovestruck 12 year-old girls buy your relationship-prostituting albums nowadays.

In any case, Ms. Swift and her voice have become quite the subject of parody on the Twitters and Youtubes lately, with her hit song “I Knew You Were Trouble” taking the brunt of it. While her duet with a screaming goat might be the most notorious of these parodies, Youtube user FreeFights4You has offered an alternative, MMA-themed take on the song that will surely ascend to the top of the Taylor Swift-based parodies for at least a week.

Featuring none other than UFC 160’s Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva on guest vocals, this parody might just be the greatest thing you will ever witness today. I mean, it’s no “baby monkey riding on a pig,” but what will ever top that slice of fried gold, honestly?

Now if only the UFC would quit being so stubborn and start accepting fan-made promos like “Nick Diaz: Crazy, Shirtless Mofo” and “Knowing About Horse Meat is Half the Battle,” we guaran-damn-tee that they would see their pay-per-view sales increased tenfold. TENFOLD WE TELLS YOU.

Video: Knowing About UFC 141 is Half the Battle

(Video courtesy of YouTube/FreeFightsForYou)

Besides Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, everyone I know who watched GI Joe as a kid looked forward to the “Knowing is Half the Battle” segments that taught us how to escape a house fire, avoid being kidnapped and molested and how to camp safely. If you watched the show on Saturday mornings or have seen any of the scores of parodies that have popped up the past few years, you’re going to enjoy the short fan-made spot above.

“Mo” used to enjoy the popular PSAs until the day he found out they were all a lie.

If you watched the show on Saturday mornings or have seen any of the scores of parodies that have popped up the past few years, you’re going to enjoy the short fan-made spot above.

“Mo” used to enjoy the popular PSAs until the day he found out they were all a lie.

When he was a kid in Tennessee, Lawal watched the episode where a boy who couldn’t swim was instructed by Torpedo how to tread water and make his way safely to shore after he fell off of a cliff into the water. The cartoon made it look easy, so Lawal jumped in the water the next time he was at his cousin’s house and promptly sunk to the bottom of the pool. Had his uncle not seen him go in, he likely would have drowned. He told me last year that Torpedo was a liar and that GI Joe nearly killed him and that soon after the incident turned to Heathcliffe for life advice and credits the mangy cat for influencing his scrappy fighting style.

And that’s your six degrees of separation lesson for the day of how GI Joe is directly related to MMA.
