Trinaldo will have home soil advantage coming into his fight against Jim Miller at UFC fight night 119 and he may certainly need it considering the kind of experience the veteran Miller has under his belt. Francisco Trinaldo, however, is on an all-time high in terms of confidence and has been seriously moving up spots in the lightweight ranking. He has been on a roll and has posted impressive victories against impressive opponents such as Paul Felder, Yancy Medeiros and Ross Pearson. Trinaldo has already established himself as a serious contender, but some people think he is yet to meet his match. Will Miller be the one to put the brakes on Trinaldo’s victory train?
Miller certainly is a weathered fighter, but age is no longer in his favor. Depsite being a bit over the hill in terms of age, Miller has always been an exciting fighter that is lively, entertaining and sometimes downright dangerous. Miller’s recent form has not been great as he has suffered losses at the hands of Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis, but nevertheless, this should be a close fight.
In terms of predictions, we would have gone with Miller if this fixture happened maybe a year or two ago, but we must concede that Miller’s best days are behind him. Trinaldo will have home support and will be full of confidence, we predict he will come out on top in this match up.
