Two welterweights with a combined 38 finishes met inside the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 91. Kyle Noke (22-9-1) and Keita Nakamura (32-7-2, 1 NC) were the two 170-pound veterans who competed on the second bout on the main card.

A shaky start did not deter Nakamura, as he earned his 17th submission victory.

Immediately Noke clipped Nakamura with a jab that had him wobbled. A hard kick from Noke landed to the body of “K-Taro.” A right hand found the mark for “KO.” Noke blocked a high kick and ducked under a left hook. Nakamura connected with a left hand. “K-Taro’s” high kick was blocked. A straight left landed for Nakamura near the end of the round, but Noke answered with a stiff jab.

Nakamura threw some punches, but Noke stuffed a takedown attempt. “KO” popped “K-Taro” with another solid jab. Nakamura went for a takedown to no avail. Nakamura backed Noke up with a straight right and a combination. “KO” decided he had enough of the pressure and took his opponent down. “K-Tauro” returned to his feet and moved forward. A hard body kick landed for Nakamura. He pressured Noke with strikes and dropped him with a knee. He took the back and locked up a rear-naked choke to earned the tap with one second left in the round.

Final Result: Keita Nakamura def. Kyle Noke via Submission (rear-naked choke) – R2, 4:59
